Its wise to be prepared. Then if hard times are at the door you can even help out others.i believe we are all commsnded to watch. Means to be alert and eyes open. I think that also pertains to watching how we are living. Are we living for God or things of the world.

Always wise to prepare. Many sell survival food and I know of one that comes to mind and its going on 7 years now...they made a ton of money off "survival food". When covid first hit and lol all those things that went out of stock.. we had friends just come over and gave us stuff. We never asked .. and we also gave away what we had. 

We live like kings compared to other nations. Just saw in another country she was going to get water....ever day has to go out and get water to drink to wash.. so yeah stock up huh. Always give our GOD thanks...for everything

The day of the Lord, in which He shakes the worlds kingdoms has commenced. If there is some area of the world in which environmental conditions have not yet degraded, those nations are nonetheless negatively impacted by the nations around them that have been and are experiencing dire environmental conditions. And these bad times have only just commenced; there are darker days ahead, according to the Olivet discourse, which correlate with the events in Revelation 8 where 1/3 of earths environmental resources are destroyed, due to the love mankind has for the things his hands produce (Revelation 9:20), which things today are primarily produced through fossil fuel burning industries.

Some have different opinions on when the day of the Lord ends. Personally, I believe it to conclude at Armageddon, when all the people of the world are split into two camps; those who love the new world order under the dragon, the beast, and the beasts mouth/the Antichrist, and those who will not be in adoration for the new world order. As for an estimated time in which this will all take place; first we will have to see the culmination where 1/3 of earth's environmental resources are destroyed. Once this level of destruction is accomplished, the angel of the bottomless pit  whose name in Greek is Apollyon, and in Hebrew is Abaddon, which translated means "the destroyer" is given the key to the bottomless pit and opens it. Once opened, there is a plague of locusts that lasts five month, after which there is a period 13 months + 25 hours in which global genocide is enacted by the worlds rulers. My guess is global genocide is enacted in order to make dwindling supplies caused by environmental destruction to suffice for the remaining masses. In short, we still have a few more years to go before the day of the Lord concludes. We are only at the beginning.

I don't think anyone can give you an exact timing for all that is going to transpire and when it will all end, but if you understand what is occurring today and how it ties in with the data the Lord provides us in relation to these events, you will then have a much better grasp on the timing of these events. This is going to take a while to explain my perspective, so I hope you are up to it.

In Revelation 7, four angels are restraining the four winds from damaging the earth, until all the Lords servants on earth are sealed with Gods seal of truth. Once this sealing is accomplished, the plagues in Revelation 8 where 1/3 of earths natural resources are destroyed, commence. If we are then now where the destruction to 1/3 of earth's natural resources have commenced being destroyed, we can then assess that the four angels have ceased their restraining of the four winds from damaging the earth, while all who will have accepted the truth about what is occurring throughout the world, have been sealed with Gods seal of truth.

This brings us to the next question. If the Lords servants throughout the world have been sealed with Gods seal of truth, what then is this truth that many throughout the world have accepted, while many others have not accepted? The answer is seen in context with the events in Revelation 8 and 9. As the Lord informs us that the plagues in Revelation 8 are caused by the love mankind has for the things his hands produce (Revelation 9:20), which things today are primarily produced by fossil fuel burning industries; the people who then recognize and accept this truth about the damage fossil fuels are doing to the earth, while then commencing to mitigate their contribution of earth damaging pollutants, would be those sealed.

There will, however, be the other side to this equation, where the people who love this world and the material goods/idols fossil fuel burning industries produce, will deny the truth, even if they hypocritically acknowledge the damage its causing, while they continue to indulge in all materialism/idolatry (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12).

When the four angels in Revelation 7 cease their restraining of the elements from damaging the earth, the destruction to one third of all of earth's environmental resources caused by excessive fossil fuel use then commences.
After the Lords servants are sealed with Gods truth in their foreheads, the seventh seal is then opened, and there is silence in heaven for the space of about ½ hour (Revelation 8:1), after which seven angels then appear who stand before God and are given seven trumpets (Revelation 8:2).

As the Lords angels provide mankind with true illumination as to what will result in the endeavors mankind contemplates to undertake; when the first angel sounds providing mankind with illumination that his undertakings will result in dire environmental consequences, the world’s ruling parties disregard the angels warning, resulting in 1/3 of earth’s trees and all green grass being burned (Revelation 8:7).

Today due to the world’s leaders and titans of industry disregard of global heating caused by increased burning of fossil fuels, the earth as a result is experiencing increasing forest fires throughout many regions.

As the second angel’s sounding warning is also disregarded by the powers that be; a great mountain burning as with fire is then cast into the sea causing 1/3 of earth’s seas to become blood (Revelation 8:8-9).

Today due to agricultural runoff in conjunction with global heating, algae blooms, often referred to as red tides, are becoming more frequent occurrences throughout the worlds oceans, and are causing the death of increasing levels of marine life.

When the third angels sounding illumination of truth is disregarded, a great star burning as a lamp falls upon 1/3 of earth’s rivers and underground aquifers causing them to become bitter and poisonous (Revelation 8:10-11).

Today due to hydraulic fracturing (often referred to as fracking), ever increasing fresh water resources are being made bitter and poisonous.

The star, called wormwood who falls from heaven burning as a lamp is realized as one of Satan’s angels who provides mankind the illumination for the chemical cocktail to access natural gas from shale beneath earth’s surface.

At the fourth angels disregarded sounding warning, 1/3 of the light from the sun, moon, and stars is darkened, and do not shine for 1/3 of the day and night (Revelation 8:12).

Today due to industrial pollution, along with automobile and other atmospheric pollutants, the light from our sun, moon, and stars are considerably less visible than prior to when the industrial revolution began.

All of these plagues are attributed to the love mankind has for the things his hands produce in these end times.

Once our planet reaches the levels of contamination indicated in Revelation 8, an angel flying through the midst of heaven declares in a loud voice: “Woe, Woe, Woe, by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound” (Revelation 8:13).

Please be as specific as you feel comfortable being. Let's dispense with the dodging of the question(s) and just answer it. Given your belief the events described have already begun, when will they conclude?

Look at my earlier post on the environmental representations in Revelation 8 for what is transpiring today. If I see the environmental destruction in Revelation 8 correlating with what is transpiring today; is it then logical for me to assess the worst of times have commenced. Could I be wrong? Sure, I could be wrong, but if I were, then the Lord decided that He would also burn 1/3 of earths trees due to the love mankind has for the things his hands produce through fossil fuel burning industries, at some future time, after the current burning of the planet from fossil fuel burning industries concludes. Does this appear logical that God would perform the same type of catastrophe as that that is currently occurring due to fossil fuel burning industries? No, it would not.

Likewise, the other three metaphorically described plagues in Revelation 8 that together ultimately destroy 1/3 of earths environmental resources, are events that are increasingly destroying the earth today. I therefore logically assess that the events in Revelation 8, that also correlate with the terrible times described in the Olivet discourse have commenced.

I find it very strange how so many people do not want to acknowledge this truth, and prefer to live a lie, so that they may continue to take pleasure in not believing, as it means continuing a lifestyle of loving the things/idols made. I, also am guilty of loving the things/idols industry today provides me, but at least I acknowledge the truth of the damage these things do to the earth, as well as to my spiritual life.

I don't think these events have anything to do with prophesy and your argument is a false-cause fallacy. There are many reasons why God might permit bad things happening and none of them have anything to do with end times. What makes you think God is performing these things? What makes you think this is not God letting humanity suffer the natural consequences of its own irresponsibility? 

If the current fires in the Western US, along with many other countries fire were to cease and disappear, I would then wonder why the Lord decided to provide prophesy for future fires paralleling what is happening today.

You can think otherwise, but a logical assessment based on faith would be that what is happening today with the fires and other environmental plagues caused by the love mankind has for the things his hands produce through fossil fuel burning industries is prophesy being fulfilled.

Not one of earlier prophesies have seen the level of catastrophic fires around the world that are occurring and increasing today.

I therefore watch for these signs in the end times as the Lord directs me and all to do.
