@JAG** Rev 13 is about antichrist and Arab false prophet

He will be ruling the world after the rapture. He has been revealed but no power yet.

There is a beast coming whom the whole world will worship per Rev 13:3-4 and 7-8. Sure he's not called 'antichrist' but the demand for the affectation is an argument from semantics; it's also pedantic and ignores the reality.

John doesn't dispute the coming of THE antichrist in 1 John 2, he gives some insight to the people he addresses.

1 John 2

Children, it is the last hour; and just as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have appeared.

"Just as you have heard antichrist is coming..." is a confirmation there is an antichrist and he is coming. If one only focuses on 'so now many antichrists have appeared.' one might get the impression that it's only many antichrists and that 1 John 4 confirms it simply a spirit of antichrist and that it's many little antichrists and not one main antichrist. 

But I think that ignores where this antichrist spirit comes from.

The 'spirit of antichrist' must come from somewhere. The spirit that inhabits or influences people toward antichrist thought and behavior is of 'antichrist'. When we say 'Spirit of God' we know there is a Spirit and it's from God and of God. 

Same thing with 'spirit of antichrist'. That spirit is coming from THE antichrist. I suppose that antichrist is Satan, or the dragon. He has to be the biggest 'antichrist' there has ever been. That dragon is coming per Rev 12 and 13. So yeah, THE antichrist is coming. The spirit of THE antichrist is in the world. Just like the Spirit of God is in the world. And we would never say there is no THE God.

I think the denial of a coming THE antichrist is a ruse to get us all to ease back, forget about an evil all powerful world dominator bent on global destruction and the death of all the children of God. Once this has taken root in our minds, the lack of a future one world tyrant, a veil is pulled over our eyes and we won't see past the façade. 

Christians will flock to this pretender for salvation. After all, there is no 'THE antichrist'.

There is not one (1) Bible verse in the entire Word Of God Genesis to Revelation ~ that connects in any way whatsoever John's antichrists with the Little Horn or Man Of Sin or The Beast ~ its ALL 100% pure ASSUMPTION with not a single shred of evidence to back it up. Its pure 100%  assertion and thats all it is.

The Name Game In Semantics

Just as (Trinity) isn't found in the scripture, but we know well it represents the Father, Son, Holy Spirit

Just like the word (Rapture) isnt found in the scripture, but we know well it represents the catching up of believers

Just as the words (The Antichrist) arent found in the scripture, but it Describes The Three Below

Yes there is a future bad guy, that is referred to as (The Antichrist) all the very same future human man seen below 

Daniel's (Little Horn)

Paul's (Man Of Sin)

Agree.  He is referred to as the false prophet, the beast from the earth.  The beast from the sea is an unseen evil spirit being.  The beast from the earth is who everyone will see.

There's no need to come up with a new label when the one in scripture works just fine.  That's how confusion is created.
