Anyone can do what I did regardless of race gender.

So true.

My husband came out of dire poverty in one of the poorest counties in the us. By all standards, he came out of an environment that should have prevented him from succeeding in life. Yet he and all his siblings have good jobs and are doing well. His family emphasized the value of hard work.

Their beliefs about life almost insisted they live the simple lifestyle they did.  They wasted nothing when hunting, honored the elders, moved according to the seasons, etc.  They had no need for the industrialized lifestyle.  In fact, it destroyed the harmony of nature in their eyes.

Why would you assume they wanted to advance anything?  Is it possible that they wanted to live as they were livings before the Europeans decided for them, that they needed to become more "civilized"?

Nobody knows the answer to this question.

Would it be right for someone who is more advanced than you or I to walk into our lives and change what we have known all our lives?  Do you personally believe that by industrializing the way we live is better for all involved?  I see far too much waste, pollution, disregard for nature, anxiety, mental illness, addiction, etc. all because man became smarter and wanted to "improve" the lives of everyone.  I believe it would of been much better if life was allowed to play out naturally and not changed according to man.

God's way more advanced than all of human beings but yet he came into our lives and breathed life into our soul and advanced our way of life and so God decided to entrust us to flood the whole world with the Great commission so no one would be left out of his free gift of salvation. I guess he wanted humans to know and Europeans as far as I know were at the for front of this calling and just look at what has happened. I guess part of this great commission came industrialization. Guess that to was part of God's plan and he found people to do just that!

Yet whites enslaved to....as has been said there is only one race.

But to clear up some myths.

Yes native americans kept slaves.

Yes the native americans would have ultimately hunted the buffalo to extinction. While it is true they had a use for every buffalo, they did not use every part of every buffalo they killed. Especially before spain brought horses. Before horses the native americans would drive entire herds of horses off of cliffs killing them by the hundreds, even if they only needed a few, due to the fact it was to dangerous to try and kill a buffalo on foot. So yes...the buffalo would have been hunted to extinction.

Even after they got horses...they didnt keep all the buffalo. A buffalo is a large creature...much to heavy to be drug around. So the native americans would kill a buffalo, take what they needed and leave the rest to rot. Eventually if left unchecked they would have hunted them to extinction.

The white man would have to eventually if left unchecked.

Skin color makes zero difference. We are all sinners and all human. Every culture at one point was into slavery and sinful. Still are. To suggest one race is better then the rest or managed to curb sinful acts or help other "races" advance is pretty much the definition of racism.

The eyes of the Lord go to and frow the earth seeking someone he can use I guess he used the Europeans for his great commission now all races are involved

I had the opportunity to go here and there on this earth, which only serves to reinforce the truth that there is only one race created by God.

I agree with @Rick_Parker that anything else is man-made and imposed by man, not the Lord.

God is no respecter of persons, and neither should we account our fellow man by the customs of this world. Remember the multitude without number from every nation (tribe) and language (tongue) worshiping God upon His throne.

We know that Jesus Christ is greater than this world. He is all that matters!  :)

God had to find one group of people to spread the gospel which one was it and where did they go forth to do this?

The whole of humanity outside of the blood of Yeshua is enslaved in sin. Those that have found redemption and forgiveness by the Passover Lamb sacrifice of Yeshua are still slaves. They are supposed to be slave/servants of God. Your life is not your own you have been bought with a price. Everyone is a slave/servant, the question is to who? Nothing to do with race colour or creed.

Shalom

They lived a simple life as hunter gathers but never seemed to advance, WHY?

This is the issue Disney address in the movie Pocahontas. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the words to the song: "colors of the wind". They try to pass this off as the wind blowing leaves but that is not it.

"But still I cannot see
If the savage one is me
How can there be so much that you don't know".

Hi, I have pondered that the white race is being blamed, not because of the color of their skin, but because when they spread out, they brought the Gospel with them.. It is the Gospel’s definition of righteousness that is hated and the white race by proxy…

One problem is that often it wasn't simply just the gospel being shared .... but instead in the past often there was also invasion / occupation / oppression / prejudice / discrimination etc. towards the people of the lands .. in Asia.. Africa.. etc..

And in Asia (and I am guessing other parts of the world too)  sometimes even the local people who were Christians were discriminated against.. *because* they were not from the West..

That is part of history too.

I so wish it had been different.  I wonder whether or not possibly more people in Asia might have become Christians back then.. if instead of colonisation.. there was just the sharing of the gospel with love and sincere friendship etc?   Maybe.  Maybe not.  I have no idea.

It is Just my thoughts thats all..  No offence intended.

Thanks.

The Lord did not use just one group of people....

The Apostles / early Christians shared the gospel..

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
