Kinda makes you want ta go out and some some seed, huh?

This hits the mark in a funny way. Yesterday, I daydreaming of the way it was when I first got saved in 74. We witnessed in parks and streets and passed out chick tracts, so I went online and ordered a bunch of them. I look back at those days with joy and fondness.

I have distributed those chick tracts. I would put them in books or leave them in a reception room of a business. If you hand them out most people would say "no thanks".

How did you do?
I also used Chick Tracts as a baby believer, when still filled with the first love.
I noticed the prices have gone up for them but they are more attractive now.
Mostly I went two by two knocking on doors of church visitors or new residents.
Those were mostly 'cold' visitations, with some but little response.
I went with the pastor or other seasoned believer to get experience, every Monday night, for years. My job when visiting was to pray, get the kids quiet and try to turn the TV down or off, allowing the parent(s) to better listen to the pastor.

The first time I went on a visitation I saw the birth of a child of God, and in three hours conversation, shared gospel truth, and that was seared in my memory. I want to continue to witness the miracle of spiritual births. To live.

The past several years my mission field has mostly moved to my back yard, my shop that when a driver delivers mail/packages/lumber etc, we give them bottled water and they end up taking a quickie break. A pause in their fast pace which gives me opportunity to bring a friendly conversation about work or latest government blunder to 'drift' over to how God has taken care of my family faithfully since we have become a child of His. Short conversation and give them a "Bible Promise Book for Men (Women)" They respond to them more so than the complete bible.

Never had the boldness of a 'Ray Comfort'/Living Waters type witness. But I can sit and watch him in action for hours on the tube. He has the gift. Once I get started,  I actually have fun scattering the seed. Never know when one might sprout.

So you can see that these verses still apply to us. The seventh and last trumpet sounds, signaling the return of the true Christ (there will be no pre-tribulation rapture).      Selah

Can you please tell me who the 24 elders are who sit on thrones in Rev 4:10 if there has been no rapture and all the redeemed are still on earth or dead? Who is this group?

9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

11 “You are worthy, [g]O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they [h]exist and were created.”

Hi, again …

The 12 apostles and the 12 patriarchs of the 12 tribes, in my opinion, make up the 24 elders. And because I believe the crowns signify the first resurrection, I assume the time period in question corresponds to the 7th trump.

Jesus is talking to His disciples and tells them:

So Jesus said to them, "Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

However, the 24 elders are there before the bowls are poured out or the trumpets. There is only one resurrection and it is after Armageddon. So,  how did the 24 elders get to heaven before the bowls are poured out and trumpets sound?

But, there has been no resurrection of the patriarchs of the 12 tribes of Israel nor have the 12 apostles been resurrected. They are all, the 24, still asleep in the graves. So when dies their resurrection occur?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
