John 3:13

John 3:13  And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

This verse has a context. Nicodemus was confused by the rebirth. Our Lord Jesus asked him why, as a leader of Israel, he was without knowledge of these matters. He then tells Nicodemus that He testifies of things He has seen. That is, an eye witness. He then alludes to His deity as having come from heaven and seen what no other man has witnessed. Notice the abstract grammar. The verse ends with Jesus ON EARTH but saying He is (present tense) IN heaven.

Nicodemus had the Oracles of God. he would have read about the Tree of Life many times. As teacher he would have asked himself what would have happened if Adam had eaten of the Tree of Life? The answer is that God and His LIFE would have entered and stayed in Adam. He would have been partaker of the divine life. To underscore this point in verse 14. He brings the example of Israel bitten by venomous serpents. What happened there was they had the death-serum coursing through their inner parts - a serum that would end in death. The Israelite could look upon a brass serpent on a wooden pole. But the end of the matter is not a miraculous healing. That's not the point. The text in Numbers 21:9 says "he LIVED". That is, his intrinsic nature which led to death was replaced by LIFE.

So also is the rebirth. It fills the spirit of the man who believes with the divine life.

3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2 Pe 1:3–4)

Yes, the resurrection of Jesus Christ who led captivity captive and all the old testament saints that were in the upper regions of hell (Abraham's bosom) temporarily until the new birth became available... when Jesus led them all to Heaven.

You can read in the Book of Acts where all these folks coming up out of the grave with Jesus walked around on the earth for a while before going with Jesus to Heaven when He placed His shed Blood on the mercy seat.

Now, when a believer dies their body goes in to the ground but the person themselves go to be where Jesus is in Heaven.  Paul spoke about that saying to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Once thing for sure, there is no such thing as soul sleep even for those that are not saved.  For them to be absent from the body is to be present in hell.

You are correct, but maybe not because of John 3:13. Scriptures tell us in 1 Cor. 15:50-52 that the Dead in Christ are raised at the VERY END, and those alive are changed, which means we must rid ourselves of this SIN FLESH which can not enter heaven, meaning we simply DIE as our Spirit Man floats off to heaven as Jesus calls us home.

Dan. 12 tells us the Dead are raised at the very end. So, the Jews go to Paradise and await till the 2nd coming, and the Church gets raised at the Pre Trib Rapture.

John 3:13 is a verse from the Bible. It says "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven."1 This verse is part of a conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus. Jesus was explaining to Nicodemus that he needed to be born again in order to enter the kingdom of God. The phrase “Son of Man” is one of Jesus’ favorite names for Himself. He will refer to Himself using this title several times in the Gospels. This is a phrase which all Jewish people would have recognized (Daniel 7:13). It connects Jesus to Old Testament prophecy.1

The verse means that no one has gone up to heaven except for Jesus who came down from heaven.1 It is important to note that this verse does not mean that no one will ever go to heaven. It simply means that no one has gone there yet except for Jesus.1

Yes the Son of man who was sent as the spirit as sonship from the father as a born again Son of God. All die not receive the new incorruptible body.

Jesus our brother in the lord .

We call no man on earth father.  In that way  the Holy Spirit of sonship works in us all ,  Jesus dying body of death did not come down .God is not a man .

Daniel 7:9-14

Ancient Of Days

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
