Thanks. I believe I focused on 39:21… which I interpret as the Babylonian captivity, not the end times.

The earlier reference on 39:11 may certainly be speaking on end times - have not studied or read much of Ezekiel.

But these references do not apply to chapter 2:40-43.

Oh, I believe this is the 7 year topic… I have been going back and forth among the few topics.

Doesn’t your Ezekiel reference mention 7 months?

I see absolutely no 7 years in Daniel that speaks to or anything but t he he final 7 years of the prophecy. And those 7 years were completed- nothing hints of a “gap” between the 69th and the 70th week or its completion.

No, I responded to when the Lord's return will be.    I did not say when the rapture would be in my response.

I am on record for saying that the 7 years begin before the end of the 2030.    And Jesus's Return before the end of 2037.

The only factor that could alter what I am on record for - is that a generation of 70 years, could be 80 years, based on what it says in Psalms 90 about a generation.

Yes I think we have had this discussion...you have the rapture at some unspecified date prior to what you call the "Transgression of Desolation" (ToD) from Daniel 8:12-13 & 1st Thessalonians 2:3-4. Which occurs after the 7oth week begins at the..."confirmation of the covenant"...but prior to the middle of the 70th week.

The multiple iterations of this future 70th week and its events can become difficult for those of a different realm to track.

Anyways douggg...as you wish friend...as you wish.

The thing that should trouble folks about this future 70th week is...that it is predominantly focused upon darkness and Satan...now today...prior to said rapture...which is inextricably connected to  the "confirmation of the covenant" or there about as in douggg's example.

In this effort...these people claim to have more knowledge about a future time period on the earth...one in which supposedly they will not be...on the earth...while really having no specific idea of it's commencement.

They can give you in precise description the intricate details and timings about this fantastic mystical floating 70th week...all from the bible no less. If you ask them what is it that their lord would have them to do for preparation today...for the day of their secret catching away...they in general will reply..."watch and wait...we must be ready."

Interpreted as...go to church, be nice to your neighbors, work hard and pay your bills...you know basically anything you want to as long as it is good in the eyes of the Babylonian man god...we must please the man god.

Let's not forget that they are being systematically consumed by the "thank you sir may I have another" economic usury model of finance to the modern day Pharaoh...while basking in the serenity of their "Truman Show style"...Egyptian slave culture as the orphans they have become.

All of this all the while they bear down on the plans and intentions of the enemy like the darkened version of the Berean brotherhood they are. This while they are vigorously slapping at those who are trying to throw them a life preserver...as though it is a noble cause and that all should realize that they are really doing great.

This kind of explains the infatuation towards secret future 70th week and catching away fetish...they really have no other hope...as my Norwegian Grand Father would say...uffdah!

Tatwo...:)

Charlie, try this...

compare Ezekiel 39:17-20 to the marriage feast of the Lamb in Revelation 19:17-18.

Ezekiel 39:

17And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.

18Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.

19And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.

Revelation 19:

17And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

18That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

-----------------------------------------------

Jesus destroys those armies in Revelation 19:21.

Revelation 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

-----------------------------------------------

Ezekiel 39:21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

In verse 21, Jesus is back on earth. To rule over the nations.

Psalms 2 which is about the Armageddon event,  verse 1 "Why do the heather rage and image a vain thing?"

Then God says...

8Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

In Ezekiel 39:21 Jesus inherits the earth and will rule over the nations.

-------------------------------

Ezekiel 39:1-16, the latter days, latter years, Gog/Magog event.   then the 7 years.

Then the Armageddon event in Ezekiel 39:17-20.

Then Jesus speaking in Ezekiel 39:21-29 having returned to this earth, and having just passed judgement on the heathen in verses 17-20 for attempting to make war on him.

We know the 3.5 times tribulation period for the saints in Daniel 7:25 and Revelation 12:14, being the 1,260 days in Revelation 12:6, which are roughly 3.5 years. But before this 3.5 year tribulation period for the saints commences, according to the Olivet discourse there are going to be a lot of terrible things going on throughout the world, which the Lord refers to as the beginning of sorrows (Mark 13:8; Matthew 24:8). These beginning of sorrows events that the whole world will experience, prior to the beasts ascension, will therefore take some time (years) to accomplish.

Mark 13:8 or nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
