There is perhaps another reason. God did a work at Babel because men wanted to unite, or at least, not be scattered. God took this as a real threat, not because He cannot annihilate His enemies, but because men united will ultimately prevail in evil as they did before the flood. This in turn would end in their destruction, as it did with the flood. And that is exactly what Satan wants. So God divided men at Babel when they sought to be united. This situation actually occurs again when the Beast demands and commands universal worship and a Mark of allegiance. The only solution is universal judgment and the death toll will be horrendous. Just what Satan wants.

So the Nations are their own salvation, not from the Lake of Fire, but from annihilation. The fathers of the USA were 90% Puritans. Their history was forged in Cromwell's time and they knew what worked when they worked on the Constitution of the U.S. The Puritans also knew that a big middle class and a population with basic education would lead to stable political conditions. If you add cheap credit and low taxes you quickly get a a super-power like the U.S. To break this down is not so easy. But the best way is to reverse things. You infiltrate, on the pretext of humanitarian grounds, the existing population with a Nation, or Nations which do not hold these principles. Preferably you choose cultures who promote high birth rates - like Catholic countries and Islam. Then, you push, under the umbrella of human rights, quick citizenship for these foreigners. And then you polarize them on some trumped-up charge. And BINGO, you have civil unrest and you can overrule the Constitution.

Notice; The hoards breaking through the borders have already shown total disregard for the Law.

However I will make an assumption that NONE of the illegals crossing the border are coming here for that reason. But to obey God is far more important than to obey men and there are rare times when being obedient to God will force you to break man's law. 

That's why Torben Sondergaard went to America and of course because he fled Denmark so they wouldnt steal his children. He was not welcome. Last thing I heard is that he went to Mexico.

Because Christian missionaries would be coming in by the legal means that are available to them and not have to resort to illegal methods the way they would in, say, China or North Korea.

I can make arguments in several different ways about this, but they always come down to what personal gain actually is being sought and the motive behind it as to whether it would be right or wrong.

Anytime selfish reasons aren't the motivating factor, seems like a good reason to spread the gospel. If self aggrandizement or selfish ambition cloud the righteous motive to make known the word of God, than breaking the countries law shouldn't be excused. An example would be the teaching of tithing in hopes of financial gain from the new believers.

Allowing this influx also lowers labor cost for all citizens already competing for lower wage work.
