Abortion is available in Pennsylvania, and if it's that important, why haven't they changed their state laws to whatever the public wants.

There's no upside here, and there is some downside." CNN's Catherine Rampell blasted Harris's price-control plan as "totally unworkable," noting, "We've seen this kind of thing tried in lots of other countries before — Venezuela, Argentina, the Soviet Union, et cetera – it leads to shortages, it leads to black markets, and plenty of uncertainty."

That was the plan  of Republican President of the USA Richard Nixon to fight inflation an  emergency wage and price control edict.

..."On Aug. 15, 1971, in a nationally televised address, Nixon announced, “I am today ordering a freeze on all prices and wages throughout the United States.”... See fuller details at https://www.cato.org/commentary/remembering-nixons-wage-price-controls

I vividly remember those days. Prices  keep going up by manufacturers changing packaging and individual selections while wages were absolutely frozen.  That was the time that "Rebates" were introduced. There was never a sale for that would reduce average price  of product sold, instead  everything was sold at full price and rebates offered. It was a very "weird" time in the USA.

I struggled mightily to earn enough money to feed and cloth my young family. Not being legally able to get a raise, I had to search for extra tasks that might earn me some more money.  Back then there was no 40 hour work week.

While Trump may not be a personable favorite, he at least has a more conservative stance against this stuff

Ah his life's history seems to state otherwise. His bragging on being able to go look at naked 15 year olds competing in his owned beauty contests,  of being able to walk up and grope contestants, his issue with Stormy Daniels, and so on. Seems to me he is of the same house of belial.

That stuff is in his past.   We all grow spiritually at different rates and can change.   Trump said he is moreso of a believer since the assassination attempt.   And I see a more humbleness about him.

What if someone kept bringing up something you did some years back?

It would be perfectly valid even vital  for  them to do so if I were seeking high office. Especially if I had not repented of the behaviors. He hasn't changed a spot, he states himself; look at a person's past, what they did early on for they do not change.

This man couldn't qualify  for  duty as a deacon at  ten member United Methodist church body.

Hi, More so?  How does one become "more so" of a believer, and a believer of what?  Rhetorical question,  as he worships himself. He also said he was going to mention the attempt just once and never again. Yeah sure Donald, sure.

It is a bit of a fool's errand for me to debate the followers of Trump. As he say's "they would  watch me  murder someone in broad daylight and still follow me."  Ya know I think he might be right about that. The Jan 6, 2021 insurrection  attempt pretty much demonstrated that kind of blind rage following he can whip up.

As for myself I find I should have nothing to do with Belial. I cannot begin to chose between two evils. Instead I will pray for protection from all evil, as in the manner of the prayer and praise of God that is shared in the 23 Psalm.

IF I recall from one of your recent posts/replies . . . you already have voted early? If so, then my reply is to others reading this . . .

WE MUST focus on policies of political parties and NOT personalities. So IF you choose an personality that embraces abortion as an human right will that be pleasing in God's eyes ?  Hummmm . . . . . . I suspect not.

This is not rocket science where it is too hard to choose the lesser of bad choices given us . . . The democrat party politicians all will 'carry the vote' for their party platform with very few exceptions.

So the question really is: For what policies do you want to go on record as supporting? Abortion or Pro Life? That should be enough, but, if not, how about Traditional Family or LGBTQ++ variations of family, mutilation of children's bodies before they can have ability to realize what they are sexually? Or parents rights to raise their children without school activists telling them what they are?

The list goes on and on . . . . fiscal responsibility, border, energy etc.

Choose wisely based on policy my Christian friends . . . .

I do NOT want Kamala Harris to be president.  For the SOLE reason of her policies that are too liberal.  Everybody knows who she is.

When her current speech introducing her running mate is over, I'm going to post it in the video section.

You NEED to watch it.  What everyone DOESN'T know is how adored she is and how much untold amount of people agree with her.  Don't watch to watch her unBiblical beliefs because we all know and HAVE known those, but to watch the crowds ROAR in agreement.

There are people here who have no idea of what Conservatives and even moderates like me are up against.  It's giving me chills.

I'll post in about an hour if I can find it online.

This IS going to be a HARD fight.  And if you don't believe that - I can't help you.

Nobody takes her seriously. Even the D's. Well, there is one group: Those that really don't follow politics, but have been convinced that "orange man bad".

Anyone even remotely paying attention knows better. They simply fall into the "Hates Trump so much they'd vote for the devil himself against Trump.". And those people believe what they do either out of utter ignorance, or pure evil. It's really that binary. But I believe it's usually the former, with the exception of high level D leadership and MSM political pundits, that know better.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
