Simple pm's of talking to someone about something is so much better than this!

Someone has to tell the truth. Not hide it.

There is no need to be concern with such things.

Mark 4:22

For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be brought to light.

If Worthy strictly went by the TOS would I still be on Worthy? Would you still be on Worthy?

Yes, I would still be on Worthy, because when two people disagree with what the context of what the Bible is saying, Worthy does not pick which of the two is right.  It is expected that here people can disagree and still live together.

The problem is that one person can't understand that they might be wrong in the concept of what the Word is putting forth.  Sometimes the differences can be which translation they use, and other times one or the other doesn't consider the lives and customs of the people when the Bible was penned. Occasionally it can be translations can hide the context of what's being said because there aren't matching words between the two languages.

Who gets to decide what the truth is?

the bible doesnt say a lion will lay down with a lamb it says a wolf will:

isaiah 11:6 “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb

noah didnt have ppl mocking him when he was building the ark

so where did these ideas come from?

Let's see - how about Saul being knocked off his horse on the way to Damascus?  I've heard that often by solid preachers, but have not found that in there . . .

Another person I know was adamant that the saying, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, but teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime," was in the bible.  It isn't.

Teacher ,I know the answer what truth is , it's what the Bible says :)

You and I have been a long time on Worthy and we know that shining our light is important for the days we live in,they're evil,we know who is having a great time right now seeing brothers and sisters arguing :(

We know MM is very Biblical ,and truthful  it also says that people will know us by how we live,do we show we have Jesus  living in us?

The days are getting so short ...where is our focus on the lost ,like MM 's heart is?

As a rule ,I will say what I believe if somebody disagrees I agree to disagree, just like you do :)

It's not good for the world to see bickering and pointing fingers at people,we love each other because Christ loved us first :)

How are you and your wife doing ? Are you safe from those terrible storms?

We are at the moment, but we could use a little of all that rain.  But this is Oklahoma, and we never know what weather will come tomorrow.  At least it isn't so hot, we enjoyed a two-week fishing trip ending last Wednesday.  Didn't catch a lot of fish, but we did enjoy the camping and just being out on the boat.

We are as good as an old couple could be.  Still getting around.

Who gets to decide what the truth is?

Are you just saying that Worthy tolerates false teaching?

"Who gets to decide what the truth is?"

God is the truth. And if a person knows their Bible and reads it literally it will tell them what the truth is.

  • Truth is not simply whatever works. This is the philosophy of pragmatism—an ends-vs.-means-type approach. In reality, lies can appear to “work,” but they are still lies and not the truth.
   • Truth is not simply what is coherent or understandable. A group of people can get together and form a conspiracy based on a set of falsehoods where they all agree to tell the same false story, but it does not make their presentation true.
   • Truth is not what makes people feel good. Unfortunately, bad news can be true.
   • Truth is not what the majority says is true. Fifty-one percent of a group can reach a wrong conclusion.
   • Truth is not what is comprehensive. A lengthy, detailed presentation can still result in a false conclusion.
   • Truth is not defined by what is intended. Good intentions can still be wrong.
   • Truth is not how we know; truth is what we know.
   • Truth is not simply what is believed. A lie believed is still a lie.
   • Truth is not what is publicly proved. A truth can be privately known (for example, the location of buried treasure).

I'm concerned for the next storm and we have to start praying it will not be as bad or worse....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
