I think we will know when we are changed and I have an idea as to why, but “why is the universe so large”?

and the ancillary question to this - If all this was foreseen, including man's fall, how was the idea formed to have God's love displayed through the redemption in Christ?

And now this will beget the question of the Trinity explained in coherent or logical understanding to us humans, though I feel I have it pat down. Yeh really.  Next.

Oh yeah - me too!  (all men are liars) :kanoso:

I think we will really have our minds blown.  (I do theorize that it might pertain in some way to His being love itself)

I think it’d be amazing to be in a massive IMAX-style theater, watching a replay of how creation actually happened—seeing what God was thinking and planning from the very beginning. Like, imagine Him knowing evolutionists would come along one day and saying, “You know what? I’m gonna make a platypus—to throw 'em for a loop.”

That sounds amazing.

Am I being faithful in at least a few things?

I hear you Brother, that's a great question for Jesus because somehow, He grades on a curve or something and we don't know exavt how the template is scored. Oh, we have the template in His word, but geez how dumb in general humans are!

It wasn't really said ask Jesus a question when. Only ask. If I asked Him today, I would like to ask that He not forget me in the Rapture? Please Lord? !!!

Hey, I've thought that before! And the way I figure it, When a great Book is written, they want to make a movie out of the Book, so why wouldn't the Lord make movies of His Book?! And I bet you a dollar that His movies...are way better than ours! So much so that...Would the Lord make the Movies Interactive? (Will we be able to step into the movie, to "be there" as a silent observer?!! That would be super cool!)

I mean, God is outside of time, so why couldn't He take us back in time to witness the actual Creation? He could. The Lord is Omnipresent and that not only means He is everywhere at once, but also at every time at the same time (To us).

So could anyone talk to Jesus when He walked this earth? Did He change did He stop talking once He became lord of our life and is alive and well living in us. We are the branches connected to something and I think that something is Christ yes? Then the sweet holy Spirit .. in us forever. Are we not the righteousness of God? Is it really Him that does not talk or is the problem at our end?

The point is can I not just ask Him who is in me? We've heard it "He's closer then a brother". A mute bother?  :) I think He would say "why didn't you ask me before now?" OT just came to mind.. Sarah just laughed within her self and He heard her. Another that comes to mind “before you call I will answer you.”.  Where's your faith? He loves to talk more then we do. When were young oh so easy to hear from Him but as we get older its not Him that stop talking its us we stop listening. We got to busy.

I can only share what I know.

I  was thinking  something similar last night after I read this thread. I can hear the still small voice of God inside of me. It was hard to learn but is easy to do. And once you have tuned in to the Lord's still small voice, He always talks! He talks all day every day. To all people in fact, He told me.

Closer than a Brother...so prolly could easily, your best friend? So, what does one do with best friends? Hang out. Talk. Go places together! Invite Him to go work with you and talk all day to Him. Certainly don't forget that your best friend is with you, so don't start daydreaming, talk to Him.

Ask Jesus a question? Ok, which one, I'll ask Him right now. I akways invite the Lord to go with me whenever I have to go into the world for errands. Please don't let me have any accidents or seizures Lord...Make me invisible to the police because I can not afford any tickets! (It always seems to take my money when I have interactions with the police, and lately my money is code talk for food money!) So, let them not even be able to see me Lord!

I was having trouble hearing His still small voice one time, and, I asked Him about it and He told me: The more secular entertainment that you watch interferes with your ability to hear my voice and discern it.../

So I watch a lot less secular entertainment now.

So very true, bro, and thanks for saying that!  There is no harm in asking the question in the OP, but you are exactly right too - we can ask Him right now!!!

How many times have I asked the Lord something like, "What does this mean Lord" only to have the answer come from either within or without in a couple moments!? But more often some time passes before the answer comes and sometimes I'm not even so aware of the answer right away (He has to say, "Remember that you asked that?).  But there are other things that He delays in answering, and we may only get the answer once we pass from this mortal coil.

(This reminds me of the famous "What would Jesus Do?" (WWJD) question that made it onto many T-shirts and bumper stickers a while back. The better question is, "What is Jesus doing?"  That's because we have Him living in us and as John says, the inner "Anointing teaches us all things." (1 John 2:27)  Asking WWJD is sort of an old covenant take on the matter . . .)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
