It was said by a Mod, yesterday, that posting on older posts is not against the rules. I'll follow the boss.

That one surprised me too. Subjects get repeated here all the time anyway. Seems to me there should be nothing wrong with revisiting an older subject, why I might even be led to see something anew in an old subject.

I love these challenges . . . so, who is doing this? Who possesses the confidence to actually discuss the Word of God with non-believers? Is the Holy Spirit guiding "you" in this way? Do you possess the Mind of Christ, the Mind that enables you to boldly speak of the Name Jesus when you are in public places, or do you lower your voice when you speak His Holy Name? Are you worried about what others will think of you as you utter His Name? It is true, that you are still a man-pleaser, though you claim you are a "slave to Christ"?

Who is the True Christian and who are the fakes?

Thess said;  "Who possesses the confidence to actually discuss the Word of God with non-believers?"
Most any Christian friend I know is willing to share the good news. Some boldly, some timidly.
Any believer, true believer, knows the before and the after, the change within,  and unless the cold water
committee has quenched their fire for their first love, they will shout out God's mercy!

Thess said:    "Do you possess the Mind of Christ"
Yes! Every believer does. But they also have choice to adhere or not to what the spirit speaks.
Thess said:
or do you lower your voice when you speak His Holy Name?
I do not lower nor shout. I try not to get on a pulpit sharing the word.
My genuineness as a believer is not confirmed by how loud nor aggressive I share the "good news"
I do try to show enthusiasm and happiness,  and not doom and gloom.  It's called "The GOOD News!

Thess said:  Are you worried about what others will think of you as you utter His Name?
Actually yes. I try to be wise as a serpent, harmless as a dove. I know, human strategy, right.
When I witness, I do try to remember/acknowledge God, for direction. But it is the word that convicts. NOT me!
I try to "plow the ground" first that a seed may fall upon 'good' soil(gentle as a dove)

I have felt it is better to draw them than to push them, and allow the Holy Spirit/word to work.
Thess said; It is true, that you are still a man-pleaser, though you claim you are a "slave to Christ"?
Who is the True Christian and who are the fakes?

You seem to be very concerned that everybody is out testifying for the gospel. Bunch of fakes.
Are you having trouble with this? Are you upset or what? I don't see and encouragement, only condemnation.
Is this your way to share/preach the good news of Christ?

Not everybody is called to teach, not everybody is called to preach. Evey believer is anointed to testify  their belief though.
What is also very important is our every day witness in our every day walk. They see our character. Or lack.
This may be your only influence on many of the lost, your witness, actions, what comes out of your mouth.

Well done is
better
than well said.

Yes. I’m grateful and superior because what Jesus Christ did for me. I’m really lowly and see my ugly. But God...

What's wrong with this one? Why tread on it? I mean, wouldn't it make more sense to address the content? Christians are funny people.

Suit yourself.

Perhaps this nonsensical comment.

@Thess, does this make any sense to you at all? It certainly doesn't to me. Not even remotely.

To me, this seems like another round of pointless babbling. All it will do is confuse.

I agree David. The op makes no sense at all. Perhaps that is why nobody replied.

Couldn't help but notice that. Why this topic was dredged up in the first place is beyond me.

My point exactly. There's no way this could be salvaged and made right by any means.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Easter for born-again Christians is a time for great rejoicing because of the resurrection of Jesus. It is also a time of great sadness because of the Crucifixion of Our Lord on Good Friday.

Now is the time for each of us to reflect on our own lives as followers of Jesus. Each of us has to ask ourselves have I been effective in promoting the Gospel in my life? Could I have done more to promote the Gospel of Jesus?

Our redemption has come with such a great price. Even though there was a resurrection there had to be a crucifixion. No cross,

You know, I have always looked at the Cross as a triumph and a glorious done deal on my behalf. But you are right that our God suffered and hurt more than we can ever imagine. He is Wonderful Beautiful Lover of our soul.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
