In the Bible there are many instances where the Lord guided people from one country to another and they did so with free will. They didn't have to ask permission they just packed up and went wherever it was the Lord told them to go. When what we call the first americans arrived here in the U.S. they settled wherever they wanted even though they weren't originally from here. So why is it that in today's time that we feel like everything belongs to us and if you live on one side of an invisible line that you can't live on the other side?? Who gave us the right to say who can and can't live wherever they want?? It most obviously wasn't God and yes while God in the story of "The Tower Of Babel" split man up into many nations of different tongues I don't remember it saying a man who speaks one tongue should live only in one country and not be allowed to settle in a country where they speak a different language.

I would like to think that if the U.S. were to ever become what we consider a 3rd World Country that I would be allowed to go where I may find a better way of life so that I could provide for my family and not be persecuted for it. People complain that illegals are stealing jobs that should belong to americans but what gives an american the right to be able to have that job and not an immigrant?? And I know the response is going to be "Because I was born here".

Immigrants from Mexico are willing to come to America and do the jobs that most americans consider themselves to good to do and are willing to do it for much much less because they know that while it's not the greatest life in the world it's better than what they had. Americans for some reason believe they should be paid a huge salary for doing little to nothing and refuse to work a job where they are required to do labor intensive work for minimum wage this is why at fast food restraunts today you find more and more minorities mostly mexican or of latin decent because they are willing to do the work for minimum wage that americans want $8-$9 an hour to do.

So maybe Americans should stop complaining about immigrants taking jobs away from them and start doing the same job these immigrants are willing to do for the same pay and if not then leave them alone because whether you think so or not the U.S. doesn't belong to us it belongs to God just like every other country on the face of this earth we were given. God didn't make humans work for Earth he freely gave it to us out of love and kindess but we ungratefully turn around and say this is ours and you can't have it or this side of the invisible line belongs to me and if you step over it I'm gonna throw you in jail.

What a sad sad pathetic world we live in :emot-fail:

I do hope that whateve situation you are in that is making you so angry it will work out for you soon ..

It is sometimes very hard to walk through certain situations in our life but whatever it is if you keep looking to the Lord He will get you through it..

Joh 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." ;)

These verses have been coming to mind of late, with regard to America and immigrants coming in:

Isaiah 1

2 Hear, O heavens! Listen, O earth! For the Lord has spoken: "I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me. 3 The ox knows his master, the donkey his owner's manger, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand." 4 Ah, sinful nation, a people loaded with guilt, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the Lord; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him. 5 Why should you be beaten anymore? Why do you persist in rebellion? Your whole head is injured, your whole heart afflicted. 6 From the sole of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness-- only wounds and welts and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with oil. 7 Your country is desolate, your cities burned with fire; your fields are being stripped by foreigners right before you, laid waste as when overthrown by strangers.

Psalm 109:11 May a creditor seize all he has; may strangers plunder the fruits of his labor.

Proverbs 5:10 lest strangers feast on your wealth and your toil enrich another man's house.

In His Love,

Suzanne

Illegals are keeping the wages so low that most Americans can't afford to do those jobs, and that is why some Americans don't want to do those jobs that you are talking about. It's not the work, it's the artificially low pay.

As for when the "First Americans" coming here, having Chickasaw and Choctaw ancestors and being married to a lovely woman who is part of the Chickasaw nation, we have slightly different ideas of those "First Americans" who came here. They didn't just move there, they came here and took what they wanted...... set up a country that is governed by a set of laws (which is much better than a king or such).

It is these laws that make it illegal for others to come here without going through the process that was set up for the safety of both Americans and those who wish to come here.

I do agree that it is a very sad world we live in today, but it's not the American's unwillingness to let everyone come here. We have limited resources and if everyone who wanted to came here we'd be overpopulated just like a lot of other third world countries and that usually breeds corruptness and dispair...... which is what Mexico is experiencing.

It is sad, but necessary to not let fifty or sixty million people come here and destroy our way of life.

There is no reason that those wanting to come here could not overthrow their corrupt governments and make their land productive and a good place to live. One must first be willing to die for that situation, and most are not.

so is this the fault of illegals or the fault of the greedy factory people who take advantage of people in unfortunate circumstances?

actually, its the opposite. there are more people here per average piece of land than there are in most developing countries, with the obvious exception of China and India. and it isnt just high population that breeds corruption (otherwise this problem would be prevalent in highly populated cities like London England), there are a host of other factors involved.

There is no reason that those wanting to come here could not overthrow their corrupt governments and make their land productive and a good place to live.

historically speaking, how many countries that have experienced a coup have become better off because of it?

there are way more factors than just corrupt gvts that contribute to poverty in these country. sadly, we dont want to accept them so we keep throwing one sided-blames.

The only thing I'm angry about is the way we as God's children treat each other because we think we have the right to certain things and yes there are laws that were set up but they are laws of imperfect man not the laws of God. I can gurantee you the God that is in my bible would never tell anybody that they couldn't live in a certain place because that land belonged to him and he most certainly wouldn't throw them in jail or send them back to where they came from he most likely would help them get settled into their new enviroment.

People think that just because they live in a certain country in this case the U.S. that they should automatically hold a higher standing than someone from another country. People from Mexico, South America, Japan, Russia, China, even Iraq should have the opportunity to come here to live and make a living if they so choose just as much as any person born here because the Earth is God's creation not mans and not the Americans and we have no right whatsoever to choose who can and can't live here. Any laws that are made to do so are created by a imperfect human with corrupt intentions in this case with the intent of keeping everything good for themselves and bragging about it while spitting on everyonelse.

I was born and raised in the U.S. so I am not some angry outsider upset because I want to come in. I've been here since birth and trust me I at times am ashamed to admit it. That being said I would gladly share anything I have with anyone who needs it as much or more than I do. I have no more right to a job no matter what it pays just because I'm an American than Pablo who came here from Mexico looking for a better life for his family.

I heard the argument well they take jobs at such low wages that it's impossible for Americans to work those same jobs which is total crap. The fact is Americans can work for those same wages they just choose not to because they are arrogant enough to think they deserve better just because of where they were born. Sure you might not be able to live in the fancy house, drive the newest sports car, or wear the designer clothes but you absolutely can provide a roof above your head and food to eat on those wages because the immigrants do. The problem is once again Americans think that they are to good to just get by they have to have all the bling bling so speak.

America needs to wake up and realize their **** doesn't smell like roses just because they tell themselves it does.

Since when was America not corrupt???

How quickly we've forgotten the whole Enron mess and the joke of a government we call Congress.

America is one of if not the most corrupt country in the world the people who live there are just blinded to the fact and don't want to admit it.

I think it not wise to try and turn Gods word into something it's not as you are trying to make it out like he's talking about America when it's clear he's talking about Israel.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
