  2. Please look up the verses I gave. Then correct me if I am wrong. John did. John 5:19 and Rev 20:1-6. And whoever finished the book of Daniel. 12:2 And Paul wrote 1 Cor 15:23 which says ALL believers will be resurrected "when He comes". What does this have to do with how many resurrections there are. I don't see a point in these verses that are about how many resurrections there will be.
  3. From my studies, it seems that Rahab, as Marathoner notes, symbolizes Egypt and her Pharaoh who opposed Moses and Israel. Isaiah 30:7 supports such an interpretation: "For Egypt’s help is completely useless. So I have called this one: “Raʹhab, who sits still.”
  4. When I declare on paths of chastening,’ Thank You, Jesus. You are my heavenly Bridegroom. In Your love You want to bless me through chastening and prepare me for the heavenly glory.’
  5. When I declare during times of spiritual night and God-forsakenness,’ Nothing can separate me from You. I am knit together with You.’
  6. When I declare during great inner conflict,’ I will cling to You and follow You to the end. I trust in Your love.’
  7. When following a difficult leading, I say, ‘ I know that You will make the bitter sweet.’
  8. When I do not despair in the midst of failure but continue to sing of His sacrifice, for He has done everything to set me free. I will sing praise, sing praise to You, Jesus. How beautiful Your love pour forth at the cross. How great mighty works that You redeem me. How precious is Your sacrifice. I love you, Jesus. Amen
  9. When I am prepared to come to the cross, knowing myself to be a sinner in the sight of God and man. Thank You Jesus, for granting me Your strength to bear the cross. Thank You Jesus that I am sinner whom You have shown Your great grace and compassion. Amen
  10. Beloved one, if we are considering what we have heard, “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great A CLOUD OF WITNESSES, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬ ‭KJV‬‬ these witnesses are those mentioned from Hebrews 11, that is, from Abel.
  11. Today
  12. I think there is a conflation of meaning that is mixed with prophecy and prophet. While they are similar. Prophet and prophecy are of the divine, while the other two are of our own human reasoning or volition. The Christian has to get his theology in right standing or he can be led by the demonic, and decetiful persons, who takes advantage of their ignorance. We know of many who have lost their entire life fortunes, by chalatans who used the biblical teachings in clever ways. Test the spirits, we are warned and that comes with perseverance for truth and not by men who claim to be people who are questionable. When the Lord gives his messages to reveal unto man, no matter what the situation, it has to be one hundred percent from him and he is perfect, so there will be no imperfect outcome. Our own will, though it may well meaning, cannot be associated with prophecy and that of a prophet. Edit. Discernment is a gift that the Lord has bestowed upon believers to navigate through our journey while we are here, but still it is not prophecy that are divine pronouncement from God. These are my own present conclusion in brief about prophecy and there I think, the beliefs and interpretation of the scriptual context, still has to be thought out or reasoned, as this is such an important part of a believers walk. 1. intuition 2. discernment 3. prophet and prophecy
  13. Finally. No. Jews are a religion. The seed of Abraham are those in Christ, that is Israel, the people of God. There are literally no 'christians' as a distinct group who are truly in Christ and are not considered to be of the seed of Abraham or true Israel. Christians who think so are deluded by the power of religion and the word of the wolves in sheep's clothing. You keep equating religion with faith. They are as compatible as oil and water or iron and clay.
  14. Sure. This passage doesn't say anything about gathering anyone, in fact it depicts a force of one. I have trodden the winepress alone, and no one from the nations was with Me. I trampled them in My anger and trod them down in My fury; their blood spattered My garments, and all My clothes were stained. 4For the day of vengeance was in My heart, and the year of My redemption had come. 5I looked, but there was no one to help; I was appalled that no one assisted. So My arm brought Me salvation, and My own wrath upheld Me. 6I trampled the nations in My anger; in My wrath I made them drunk and poured out their blood on the ground.” This isn't a recorded 'coming', 'appearance', 'return', or any other arrival. This is a picture of one aspect of what happens after the one and only arrival. Again, just another aspect of what the reign of Jesus entail at the onset of that reign when He makes His return. In order for there to be multiple 'arrivals' that would suggest an arrival, then leaving, then another arrival and another leaving after that, and so on. We don't see that in scripture. One arrival, many aspects of that singular event. I think you are meaning one thing but perhaps using a term that doesn't fit. You know that's allegorical, yes? The sickle is the great anger which compels the action, the grapes are the enemy, the wine press represents where the enemy is crushed and the treading is the great war in the valley where the enemy is defeated. This is using poetic language to depict the battle and it's result in the valley of Jehoshaphat, at Armageddon. Yes, that's what I have been saying. Just what you said is the truth: An single event with many aspects. One event which is the initial cause of the sky splitting, the fear of the people of earth, the gathering up of the elect, then the prosecution of wrath, etc.

  16. Psalm 112:1 Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments!
  17. “Therefore, be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil.” – Ephesians 5:15,16 The Holy Spirit desires you to live daily in the fullness of the Lord so that Jesus will receive glory and honor through His great power working in and through you. 18. In Heaven we are in the light of Jesus Christ and we will continually learn and at time we will see some of the things we knew with perfect clarity. And we will understand some of our misconceptions. Peter in 1 Peter 1: 13-14 13 I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of this body, 14 because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me. I am convinced that the Lord will let us know ahead of time when that time will be. He will give us the word of knowledge in this matter. One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. You must have this gift because He had asked you to take up this service to others and he must have equip you with this gift. He must have informed you that you are going to meet someone he wanted you to meet ahead of time when the meeting happens.
  19. I understand what you meant to say it was about the place where those who died refusing to believe in Jesus Christ are destined to go. I was not playing with words and I did not say for any other reason but to inform that some of the translator had decided to used this word instead of the original who conects to a different context as when Jesus said in Revelation one "I have the keys of Death and Hades and in Revelation twenty the Death and Hades gave up their dead. Which has a context and the word Hell cannot be used as the reference it is of the place of the dead before the Cross and Hell is the reference to the Place where Jesus judges the final place of Jesus Christ judgment for those who refused to believe in him till the time of their death. Hell is synonymous with the final destination of the unbelievers who had the chance for Heaven by believing in Jesus Christ. Before the Cross the people were held their waiting for things to come as the things about Jesus Christ triumph over Death and Hades as he took the keys from both of them...I looked into that and this is why I wanted to make the distinction. You are one of the people really respect since the time when you volunteer to let me know how to used the words "I choose to defer, when I had used the word different in some way.
  20. That's my understanding of the passage as well. Until we are with the Lord in fullness, the imperfect remains.
  21. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 1 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 1 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known Has knowledge passed away? when will these things pass away? When completion comes. When does completion come? when we see him face to face. according to this scripture tongues and prophesy will be here until Christ returns
  22. We do have to contend with this 2 Corinthians 5:10 (KJV) [10] For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. There is a great deal to contemplate with God in all this....
  23. It is the common word used today for the fiery place where Satan and the False prophets are thrown. You are just playing with words, you know what I was meaning.
  24. Some are like Catholics for the most part and only know what their Imams tell them. And they usually just tell them what they need at any one given time. Actually, I know some Baptists like that too. True Muslims are supposed to memorize the Quran before they die.
  25. So I agree . . . at least I think I do . . . sorry, but I'm still not exactly sure what you are questioning from my earlier post. Maybe quote from me the specific item you are questioning. Thx This will all be determined at the Judgement Seat of Christ (Bema Seat) It is not about sin, as they have been all paid for. It is about our 'good works' or lack we were created for. Many works receive no reward, like those done for self to be seen. These were not sin/sinful, but the work has already received reward. Those done for Christ, in the spirit etc = gold, silver, precious stones. My understanding is our position in the millennial reign is thus determined. My understanding. Thanks enoob and VA...
  26. It is the fact that all that is in the list: gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; burns up; almost all teach gold, silver, precious stones are representative of lasting works... The lasting works or true riches is the heart that recognizes the value system is not here but what is promised... the mind that can realize that all the gold and 1 piece of straw carry the same value with God. Both will be burnt up and be forgotten... the motivation of doing unto the Lord without attaching the things of this world or having any consideration thereof- is the true riches centered upon the promised things that are everlasting...
