  1. Romans chapter 1 verse 28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. I can't find a church where they've studied the bible much, I've read it about 200 times or almost.
  2. I understand the 30 pieces of silver, but I don't understand the rest, other people were hung in the bible including Jesus. 2 Samuel chapter 17 verse 23 When Ahithophel saw that his advice had not been followed, he saddled his donkey and set out for his house in his hometown. He put his house in order and then hanged himself. So he died and was buried in his father's tomb. 2 Samuel chapter 4 verse 12 So David gave an order to his men, and they killed them. They cut off their hands and feet and hung the bodies by the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ish-Bosheth and buried it in Abner's tomb at Hebron. Joshua chapter 10 verse 26 Then Joshua put the kings to death and exposed their bodies on five poles, and they were left hanging on the poles until evening. This verse I don't see anything about Judas. 14 Then I broke my second staff called Union, breaking the family bond between Judah and Israel Am I misunderstanding something.
  3. I went to a church almost 30 years ago, where the pastor said he didn't sin, I talked to him privately about my sin and asked him how he did it, when someone walked into the room he said hay you know what john does, and I was also talked about in a sermon. But I guess that's why the bible has nothing good to say about pastors.
  4. Matthew chapter 23 verse 10 Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah Luke chapter 6 verse 40 The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher. From these verses I think you can be like Jesus, I haven't made it yet though.
  5. TV has nothing to do with God, if you want God and Jesus study the bible.
  6. I like to know God this way. Jeremiah chapter 22 verse 16 He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well. Is that not what it means to know me?" declares the LORD.
  7. I think I misunderstood you, if we try to keep the law, we bring God's anger on us. Proverbs chapter 11 verse 17 Those who are kind benefit themselves, but the cruel bring ruin on themselves Anyone who helps people in anyway is pleasing to God, the more they help the more pleasing they are.
  8. I think we misunderstood each other, the law if we're trying to keep it brings anger. Proverbs chapter 11 verse 17 Those who are kind benefit themselves, but the cruel bring ruin on themselves Anyone who helps people is pleasing to God.
  9. You're bible is no different than mine, I've read or listened to mine about 150 to 200 times. 1 John chapter 1 verse 8 If anyone claims to be without sin they deceive themselves and the truth is not in them. James chapter 2 verse 10 If anyone keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. Are you claiming to not sin anymore? 1 Peter chapter 4 verse 8 Love covers a great many sins. You're bible is no different, but our understanding is different. Ephesians chapter 2 verses 14-19 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two. thus making peace and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Consequently , you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household. The only one who ever lived and didn't sin is Jesus, everyone else sins and continues to.
  10. 1 John chapter 2 verse 2 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. That means Jesus died for the sins of the whole world, now we just try to follow his example of love. Galatians chapter 5 verse 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." We can't do that perfectly, but I don't believe we're to try to abstain from sins, Jesus died for all of them. Galatians chapter 5 verse 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. So if your trying to abstain from sins or trying to save up for retirement, you've completely missed Jesus's message.
  11. If your talking about your title. 1 John chapter 4 verse 7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. And your only born of God through love, not pointing out someone's sins.
  12. I've read or listened to the bible 150 or 200 times, I've lost track, I only say that because I've learned to love everyone, even if I don't like what they do.
  13. I think if you sign out, you can read the replies, but you can't post anything.
  14. I'm to weak to turn the other cheek, I don't own firearms but I want people to own them, I kick box, but don't want to own firearms. 2 Corinthians chapter 11 20 In fact, you even put up with anyone who enslaves you or exploits you or takes advantage of you or puts on airs or slaps you in the face. 21 To my shame I admit that we were too weak for that!
  15. James chapter 4 verse 12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you--who are you to judge your neighbor? I sometimes speak like I'm the law giver and judge, and just want to say I'm sorry, I'd be smart to leave it to the pastors. James chapter 3 verse 1,2 Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. I thought I should teach since I read or listened to the bible about 200 times, but the bible doesn't say teach if you've studied the bible a lot. So once again SORRY.
  16. The only way a person can make disciples is if they are one, John chapter 8 verse 31,32 tell you how to be a disciple, and that you'll know the truth if you are one, if you tell me the truth I'll believe you, Jesus came to testify to the truth, the only people I find are once saved always saved, and those who preach the law, I don't find either way to be the truth.
  17. It's easy to quote verses you think are right, I can quote verses I think are right, but God and Jesus are the only judges. 1 Peter chapter 4 verse 8 Love covers a great many sins.
  18. How have you set anyone free, your making slaves, if you teach them to obey the law. 1 John chapter 1 verse 8. If anyone claims to be without sin they deceive themselves and the truth is not in them. James chapter 2 verse 10 If anyone obeys the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. Like I said I only talked to one person in my life I agreed with. 1 Peter chapter 4 verse 8 Love covers a great many sins.
  19. I've only meet one person in my life I agree with, and I can't convince anyone, what I am saying is the truth, and I'm not about to disagree with what I know from the bible. So I to wonder what I'm doing here. John chapter 8 verse 31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. John chapter 8 verse 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." Nowhere does he say you can teach someone the truth. Philippians chapter 1 verse 18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice, And the bible has nothing good to say about pastors.
  20. 1 Corinthians chapter 13 verse 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 1 Peter chapter 4 verse 8 Love covers a great many sins. Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Deuteronomy chapter 4 verse 29 But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
  21. If she doesn't have a living will, someone other than her has to make the choices, I'm on similar meds and wouldn't want them stopped until it was time to pull the plug, if I can't function like I did before the coma, pull the plug. God may forgive everyone, look at this verse. Jonah chapter 4 verse 11 And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left--and also many animals?"
  22. The bible says nothing about it, but we're all going to die unless Jesus comes back first, so why not save someone's life in the process.
  23. My Republican brother in law thinks their should be a limit, but I'm a democrat and believe needle exchange where they teach drug addicts how not to over dose is better. I would vote Republican if they took care of their soldiers but even the democrat's don't do that.
  24. John chapter 4 verse 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth." I see no reason to attend.
  25. Joshua chapter 13 verse 22 In addition to those slain in battle, the Israelites had put to the sword Balaam son of Beor, who practiced divination.
