Apples to oranges is right.

For literally hundreds of years, white nations from around the world took black people from their country in chains and sold them like cattle and mistreated them and killed them.

The Jews were killed for what, 3-4 years by ONE small country, and the world came to their rescue.

When black people became 'free' they were given a small peice of land and had to live among the very people who enslaved and hated them. They had to continue to fight for civil rights for another almost hundred years!

The Jews were given a huge peice of land and were allowed to live and thrive in it peacefully among their own.

When black people were given freedom, a good majority of the white people around them hated them and offered no condolences or sympathy.

When the Jews were given Israel back, the world set up memorials, we have museums, etc. The black people are simply told to forget about it and move on. And continued to be lynch mobbed and tarred and feathered.

Now, of course, ammendments, memorials etc are in order.

But do you see why the Jews may have recovered more quickly because of the rightful outpouring of support?

I really resent the word 'perpetrated' as it has a negative connotation to it.

It's not 'perpetrating' to speak the truth about the astrocities commited in America. What IS being perpetrated are statements about the mark of Cain and about pointing out statistics about crime's committed by black people and statements about their spiritual disadvantage. As long as these kinds of things are being perpetrated, truth needs to be told. And if some so called Christians are perpetrating these things? This is outrageous.

Atrocities? The atrocity is the slaughter of inner city youth by their fellow human beings; the destruction of a class from the inside. And the use of the word "perpetrated" is appropriate. There is a concerted effort by the leaders of the community to keep past history in the face of the masses in order to explain away and justify poor choices and lack of character. When you don't have respect for human life, then your own life means nothing.

I'm just about ready to give up on this. It is an astrocity when a so called Christian wants to point a finger at another race, using a biblical reference out of context. I am sure God would see it this way. If you continue to fail to see this, I can't help you. It's abuse of scripture and it's totally unChristian.

And yes, there are gang members that are white, Black, Hispanic, Asian. What is your point?

I don't think anyone would say 'what's up with Steven Speilburg continually perpetrating events of the holocaust. And don't tell me they're building ANOTHER monument for Holocaust victims. Can't we all just forget about it?" When it comes to Holocaust victims, we feel humanity needs the reminders, but when it comes to victims of slavery, we all want to forget it happened and reminders are unwanted, unneccessary and disregarded.

There is no comparison between slavery and the mass extermination of 3 million Jews. Still, Jews aren't sitting around complaining about the past, they are focused on today and the future. When they find the perpetrators of the holocaust, they prosecute them and throw them in prison or execute them. But they don't go to Germany and say, "give every Jew, every man, woman and child - even those who weren't alive then - reparations." They are more concerned about improving their standard of living than dwelling on the past. The Germans have apologized for the actions of their forefathers, and the Jews have moved on. Our "white" dominated government has apologized to blacks for the actions of our forefathers, as they have the Japanese . So, if you want to compare the 2 classes, compare them fairly.

The Jewish people didn't have to fight for anything. The world rightfully came to their aid to make ammends and try to make things right. With black people, the fight for freedom and civil rights lasted hundreds of years. Prejudice in America still exists against black people and they are well aware of it and I will admit that today, they are choosing the wrong methods. "Living well is the best revenge" and this is exactly what they should be doing, but sadly, how many white people in America would be resentful to see Black people living well? Sadly, a lot.

I think there is probably a lot of racist hypocricy going on in America. It's just wonderful to support missionaries in Africa who are witnessing to black people over there who are worshipping devils and dealing with aids etc, thinking 'those people need the Lord", yet shake your head at your black neighbours who are on crack and not giving them a second glance or thought beyond "those black people are at it again".

Of course there is. Nobody is denying that. But blacks are just as racist as any other class. It is wonderful to support missionaries anywhere, no matter where. The "black neighbors" you speak of (and whites/Hispanics too) have had many opportunities to stop using drugs, to pull themselves out of the "ghetto." They are kept there by the men, who refuse to support the children they produce; by the women who continue to produce children that they cannot afford to take care of, knowing full well that their "baby daddies" don't/won't fulfill their obligations. The women work 2 or 3 jobs to support their families, while the men (for the most part) sit around with their 40's and their blunts and the "crack" as you referred to. And all the while their so called "leaders" keep saying it is OK, that they are as they are because of injustices perpetrated on them 150 years ago. No mention of the lack of character or responsibility except from a few, who are then chastised by the others who make their living on the backs of those they are supposed to represent.

Does posting these truths make me a "racist"?

This is not even a black issue! You admit that whites and hispanics lead the same destructive lifestyle as some blacks then you ask me if pointing out 'truths' makes you a racist???

You seem to think that black people have this issue because "their so called "leaders" keep saying it is OK, that they are as they are because of injustices perpetrated on them 150 years ago"

I keep asking why whites have the same kinds of destructive issues when they have enjoyed freedom all along in America?

Didn't God reinstate Israel by using certain government officials. Wasn't Israel in the bondage of slavery in Egypt for generations? Have you ever meet a Jew that doesn't remember all the atrocities done to them throughout the ages? Does not slavery lead to other spiritual bondages even for the slave owners?

Just a few questions!

interesting topic! I used to think that white people had it better than black people- i used to get discouraged sometimes by that. I used to think that whites had good jobs lots of money and were nice to people in general and hated black folks. BUt I have had black folks treat me worser than soem white people have and I have some white people really treat me bad also. Then in my military experieince after being around and working with white people I too used to really think bad of white people untill honestly about two weeks ago. I am black and my hubby is from africa. I have really been shocked at in this day and age (year 2009) how prejudiced some of the white people can be. Dont discount me just yet i have something to say.

I already knew of my life growing up in a predominatly black neighborhood in Cleveland Ohio. Now i live in another city where again My neighbors stay up all times of the night making all kinds of noise drinking and cussing to the top of there lungs. And most of the women I know are always gossiping and talking down about their husbands and actually cheat several times. The men also cant stay faithful to their wife either. And you hear them fighting! Then the police show up for domestic disturbance... I have even seen some "activity" which looks drug dealing in town. Every time you turn around they find any little excuse to quit there job and they are always complaining. The cops here have stopped me numerous times for bogus reasons and even asked me if i was in a gang and i was in business dress from my job at a bank!!!! and I even see how the kids around here love the rap music and listen to it loud. Some of the questions that my co-workers and neighbors ask me makes me wonder if they ever get out or watch tv or if they ever went to school to learn anything- some of them are even older than me and should know better!!!! Just last week two banks got robbed successfully.

Think Im talking about black people in a black neighborhood right? WRONG! These are all white people ... I live in wyoming a predominately white republican state. My husband and I are the only ones who consistently go to work and mind our own business. I feel sometimes like i still live in cleveland. The bottom line is this.

It has nothing to do with color. It is all about character. and as my husband says there are bad nuts every where. there are bad people in every race and there are good people in every race.

I have some statistics for those who like facts. Did you know that it is scientifically proven that all races came out of africa where the original name was the land of kemet or kamit which meant dark skin ? hmmmm... also did you know that in the near future the new race will be the mixed (white and black together- prasie God!) race and that minorities will be the white race? This means that one day we are going to be one big family!!! I wonder what racist people (white or black) think about that? lol

There is no room in Gods kingdom about/for racism. I had to take every race off the pedestal and put God where he belongs. I dont care what color you are anymore. I have learned my lesson. Im looking at Character.

God bless,

Kemetbeauty

God really showed me that character is what determines what a person does. Not the color of their skin or their environment or else i would have been another statistic after what I've seen and grew up with. But look what God has done. Thank goodness He didnt look at me and say oh my goodness she is black and lives in a bad neighborhood--- i cant use her. Now i was saved out of the ghetto as they call it and went into the military after high school. I thought life would be peaceful around white people. I found out different. People are people and they either got Jesus or they are going to act like the devil no matter what race they are from. But know I put all my trust in God. You should too.

Yep yep!

I was white power for years too. Then, the Lord started showing me things. I made a friend that was black at work. We started talking about all this racism stuff, (both of us were proud of our race) He was older than me maybe about 10 or 12 years.

He told me one day, "You know and I know what the whole problem is. We're in a spiritual war, it ain't people we're fighting." So, we both changed. And every time we'd see something stupid or hear someone say something stupid, we'd just say to eachother, "Yep it's a war alright, and not one of them know it".

I'm glad I met the dude. It's funny cause I thought I was white power, come to find out by talking with him, that I wasn't after all. LOL! go figure.

When I went to Cali a few months ago, I noticed at least in LA that there wasn't a whole bunch of segregation. All the races hung out with other races, and dated other races. Now, I know there's still some parts that are somewhat segregated out there. But, from what little I saw it was cool as all get out! I also noticed that alot of the people in their 20's seemed to look less and less white, or black, or latin or asian. They just looked like people. I couldn't tell what race they were.

I agree, there wont be to many races in the next few years. People that are of one single race will be minority. Hmm, That is if my buddy quits trying to repopulate the earth LOL<

Good post!

Ok show u in scripture. You sound like the guy from another post on here that was harrasing all the christians and objecting everyone's response.

I know this thread extremely well.

I will tell u to first start with the book of genesis. Do you see the geology? Also do you see what KIND of natural resources where in the garden? Do you know where those rivers mentioned are at and how long they travel?

Let's look at what is

Genesis 2:8-14

The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads. The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which skirts the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and the onyx stone are there. The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which goes around the whole land of Cush. The name of the third river is Hiddekel; it is the one which goes toward the east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates.

If you check the locations of the Tigris (Pishon) and the Euphrates rivers, you will see that they begin it what we call Turkey today and flow through Iraq. They end in the Persian Gulf. Scripture also tells us that the river went out of Eden to water the garden and that the garden is East of Eden. This is Iraq. No matter how you look at it, it is not Africa.

I just have a question? Where does it say in the bible to have a discussion on race amoung christians? or where in the bible does it tell us to have debates on issues of the day? But we are doing it arent we? Lets not get on our high horses here because we could all learn a thing or two from one another if we will listen with an open mind. Do you research the bible to know how to do your job at work? of course not, there are manuals at work that tell you how to do your job.

I see nobody but you "getting on their high horse". I asked you to give scripture to back what you stated. This is what we do to ensure what we take in is true or not, and is very scriptural.

God always leaves clues... Even if the garden of eden was in "modern day iraq.... do u realize that that area back then were populated by predominately african descent?

I disagree. Are saying is that Adam and Eve came from Africa? This is not scriptural any way you look at it. God does not leave clues about where the Garden of Eden was and is very clear where creation took place.

Also for those who may not know, there are a lot of missing books/scriptures of the bible.... and the "authorised" authorized by king james of england by the way- king james version even lists some of those "missing books". God gave us the parts that are needed to do our christian duties and the rest he will uncover as he sees fit and we will all know the whole deal when that great day of the Lord comes.

They were not added to the cannon for a reason. They contradicted the OT and the traditions passed to the early church by the Apostles.

But in the meanwhile if u will take the time to do some research and read the bible you will find out to your surprise that it is rich with african history. It even mentions the events of slavery in the book of Isaiah. I dont have time to give you a whole lesson on hebrew/ jewish/african/ roman history but i wish i could.... the rabbit hole is really deep. And it takes a long time to study it and compare to history in scripture which i did compare my research to scripture. By the way I also cant find a direct passage that says that the Garden of eden was in Iraq. Can you show me that in scripture without using any other means?

In God's love

kemetbeauty

I can assure you that there are many here that have spent most of their lives studying scripture. I would be very interested discussing your beliefs with you.

May you find peace in your walk.

In His Love,

Alan

I really wish i could talk with you face to face so that you could see how sincere I am. It is impossible for for me to teach in minutes what it took years to be humbled about and learn. I have only come to this site a couple of times and from what i can see it seems like a site that people love to show off and puff up knowledge. I came here to find fellowship and friendship among beleivers in Jesus Christ. I came to this post titled racist because I could not believe tht such a post would be on a CHRISTIAN site! I answered this post as a BLACK person defending my race as I saw it being attacked. I wish people could really walk in our shoes or if u could even talk to my grandmother who actually picked cotton in this country and is still alive to tell you about it. This is not a cool way to win souls and neither is it encouraging. Since you know the bible so much, I am quite sure that you know the scripture that says we are not to get into debates or silly arguments over issues that have nothing to do with the blood of Jesus or working out our salvation. Im just saying that is scripture if we are going to stick to the bible only.

As for teaching what I have learned from actually having studied roman/greek/ african culture and history of religions and the startings of "christianity" and also led of the Lord to spend time with a jewish congregation for quite some time I beleive I do know what I am talking about. Now if you have any questions on where my beliefs stand ask away. It "seems" Im just guessing here - tht there are other people "defending" you. There is no need for someone to speak on your behalf I wasnt talking to them I was talking to you Alan and tht is who I expected as mature adults who I would hear back from. You have your facts and I have mine- and the Father will settle the difference when HE gets good and ready. I am quite sure when he is finsihed we will both be humbled before him. So in advance I apologize if I have offended you or anyone else on here. The scripture says that we should not put a stumbling block in our brothers way or do/say things tht would cause a believer faith to grow weak. So if someone feels I have done that let me be the first to say Im sorry from the bottom of my heart and God knows that.

I also am very familiar with the "modern day" geology of Turkey and Iraq/ Iran as I am a veteran who served during Desrt Shield Desert storm and spent quite some time in those areas.

Now i dont have a problem with your belief that we originated out of Iraq. I still believe that all people originated out of Africa. And if you go to africa you will see it is not a land of all people with dark skin... there are all colors and ethnic groups and languages and differences in cultures and they are all not as poor as national geographic would like us to believe. So according to what you have studied with scripture and maps that were not part of scripture since you like to stick to scripture only( no disrespect here)- than instead of originating from africans we all originated from what we call the modern day arab/ islamic peoples which worshiped the sun and moon like Abraham did before he became "hebrew" - I can see that-

note: abraham was not "jewish or of jewish descent- he was a pagan just like modern day iraq (BABYLON)- I would also state something here but I feel it will just start another debate and personally I am tired of all of the arguing going on in the church instead of listening , watching and praying and winning souls which is way more important than this debate on race. Back to Abraham, but he became a hebrew because he "crossed over" the river when God told him to leave his country. Whether you believe it or not I am being humble but that was a ;little hebrew lesson for you all. That was the definition of the word hebrew. "to cross over" and when you and I cross over from living a "pagan" life to a new life in Jesus that is what ties us in to Abraham and what allows us to partake in what used to only be for the "Jewish " people.

Now I will admit tht I do not know what a berean is nor have I heard of that religion. I dont believe in denominations I will tell you that about what I believe. Jesus said that his house is a House of prayer for ALL nations. So whoever will let them come and knowledge- even the knowledge that i have - is nothing if we dont have love. If we are not showing each other the love of Christ we are all just making a bunch of noise. And when a sinner or nonbeleiver comes on here all they are going to see is that we fight and debate amoungst each other just like the world does. So what is the difference? What makes us stand out as children of God to the world? scripture once again, the way that we LOVE each other. Love means being kind, being patient, believing the best of everyone, forbearing one another...etc etc I could go on. If we all showed the love of Christ than the person who originally started this thread would not have had to experience what he did.

Now i dont spend tht much time on the computer because I am a working woman and also I have a home to take care of. So with that being said, it is impossible for me to talk about everything I know. Maybe I should write a book- thanks for the idea sisters and brothers! I have been thinking about that for quite some time. Like I said I wish I could speak with you all face to face but God knows best.

Thank you all for all the blessings, prayers of peace and understanding that you are showing thru ur concern. I dont know any of you personally so I will not be one to judge ur character. God sees and hears everything and in this case reads. ;) I would like to come to this site from time to time and hope that I can make some good friends on this site if it be the Lord's will. Let God judge between you and me on this matter.

Your Sister in Christ,

kemetbeauty :taped:

Ps. I also want to state to Yod tht I am not promoting racism as have written a post about how I feel. I suggest Yod, that u take that up with the white, yes white scientists who proved the fact that we all originated and migrated out of africa. a fun fact - did u know that isreal gets there rams horn from africa.... tht is the only place the ram lives. Think about that for a minute!! So guess where Abraham was when he saw the ram in the bush? ...u guessed it! Africa! and to talk about africa is not racist because there are all kinds of races, colors, and ethnic groups in africa ... Also I am proud to know my history after we were told to forget about and beaten and killed for remembering it!! I will continue to talk about it!!!! remember I am married to a very smart and educated african who can speak seven differnt languages including english and french. He also has been standing by with me and nows that I am new to this forum -- he is also a Christian who has his own opinions as to what people are saying on here. I think that One light already knows how serious I am about someone twisting scripture as I was apalled at that other post...lol ...God bless all!

Good post!

Thank you for your very loving reply and ur apparent understanding that we are just on here sharing our opinions. Yes i too have a very best friend for many years who is white and our experiences in life are very different but also similar. We have learned alot from each other ... she is like my blood sister to me. and she is indeed my blood sister in Christ!! hah ha the spirit just revealed that to me!! haha lol

You seem like a really cool person and I hope tht i can talk with u more in the future if God wills it. once again thanks for letting a "Sista" just talk about her feelings for once without being judged or starting an argument.

Now i dont have a problem with your belief that we originated out of Iraq. I still believe that all people originated out of Africa. thts great than instead of originating from africans we all originated from what we call the modern day arab/ islamic peoples which worshiped the sun and moon like Abraham did before he became "hebrew" note: abraham was not "jewish or of jewish descent- he was a pagan just like modern day iraq (BABYLON)- I would also state something here but I feel it will just start another debate and personally I am tired of all of the arguing going on in the church instead of listening , watching and praying and winning souls which is way more important than this debate on race. Back to Abraham, but he became a hebrew because he "crossed over" the euphrates river when God told him to leave his country.

Thank you all for all the blessings and understanding that you are showing thru ur concern.

Blessings Kemet,

I do not doubt your sincerity of your words. I am sure that you would not be so passionate if you did not believe them. I don't think anyone has been puffed up in any form what so ever in their replies to you. I know that I have not. I would never of known you were "BLACK" until you said you were. Your race never entered my mind. For that matter, I don't know the race of the major majority of the people here.

People, no matter if they are Christian or not, have to live in this world and will discuss matters that pertain to them. To ignore life outside of salvation is not wise. How could someone work, plan for their kids college, pay bills ... live, if they discussed only scripture? Yes, discussions here are of many subject. If one displeases you, just ignore it. Yet, in every thread that I can remember, scripture is included. Sometimes, these discussions turn into debates. Is that good? Sure, iron sharpens iron! Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

You mentioned not knowing who a Berean is. They are people from Berea, a place where Paul and Silas ministered in Acts 17. These people, when they heard what was preached, took what they had heard, went home and searched the scripture to see if what they are being told is true or not. They are known for not taking anyone's word by itself, but placing what they hear beside scripture to see how it measured up. They were commended for this. This is something that we all should do.

As for others answering your post to me, I was asking MorningGlory for scripture when you replied to my post to her. It was then I questioned your statements because they are not found in scripture. I was not questioning your beliefs at all, just your reliability of facts, as in where did they come from. You keep stating that we originated out of Africa where scripture tells us it was Iraq, or better yet, East of Eden, in the Garden, where the rivers flow out of Eden to water the garden, which points favorably to Iraq. Could also be Turkey or Iran. Who knows for sure which of the three it is, but this sure is not Africa. This is not an attack on your race either, but scripture.

Yes, I totally agree that without love, we are nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

As you, we all have lives to attend to during the day. I can fully understand the responsibilities of having a family. I have five grown children myself and can remember the time needed to keep a house running properly. My hat goes of to all who keep their priorities straight!

Please do come back and get to know us. Unfortunately, your first peek at this site just happened to be a topic not pleasing to you.

God Bless and may His Peace be with you!

Alan

Thank you for your generous reply brother. and tht is all I was saying from the begininning is that we dont always discuss things that are scripture only.... you took the words right out of my mouth when you said that we all have to live and work and take care of our famililes and we live in this world and have to use some of its resources to live. lol- Im laughing becasue after i posted that what is a berean- lol I did remember that scripture and as a matter of fact a white pastor once told me that Bereans really pride them selves on knowing scripture. So thank u for posting back and i will come visit time to time..... no offense taken on my part.

God bless! :P

its been a while since i have come back to this topic racism i noticed its now gotten to post 11 i have been reading though what has been discussed but have not bothered to respond due to only a few members hear discussing racism between them selves have we been able to work out where we have originated from ? is it from africa or from eygpt or from the garden of eden ? How about the langueges we speak with in our own ethnic groups ? or our skin color ?

have we bothered to go back to Genesis 11 ? does it not say in the book of genesis that the whole earth spoke one language ?

that means also then if the whole earth spoke one language we also had one colored people no whites no blacks no half casts just one group of people who spoke the same language who looked the same

i am croatian and when i first began to read the bible i wanted to see if their were croatians mentioned in the bible it says god new me while i was in my mothers womb but it does not say that my people came out of eygpt or does it say that my people walked this earth when god created what i see today

Genesis 11 English standard version

1 Now the whole earth had one language and the same words

2 And as people migrated from the east they found a plain in the land of shinar and settled there

3 and they said to one another come let us make bricks and burn them thoroughly and they had brick for stone and bitumen for mortar

4 then they said come let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens and let us make a name for our selves lest we be dispersed over the face of the earth

5 and the lord came down to see the city and the tower which the children of man built

6 and the lord said behold they are one people and they have all the one language and this is only the beginning of what they will do and nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them

7 come let us go down and there confuse their language so that they may not understand one anothers speech

8 so the lord dispersed them from there over the face of all the earth and they left of building the city

9 therefore its name was called babel because because there the lord confused the language of all the earth and from there the lord dispersed them all over the face of all the earth

having gone over this thread and over what i had said in this thread i see that i should have responded this way instead of the way i had responded

no where in the old testament does it show me that my people walked this earth when god brought his children eygpt

only one group of people walked in the wildernes and only one group of people spoke the one language

hear is where i think the confussion comes in to were we see so much tenssion between the cultured groups living among us

if you were to do what i did you would see that god came down and had confussed them by making them not understand each other

probably what i say will get put to the side and the members hear discussing wil over ride what i am saying

but we did a study on this in my cell group and i noticed i was not the only one who went back to the old testament to see if his people were among the israelits

i notice when talking with my people and what we are discussing and then trying to reason with a serbian its as if your having to only put up with what one side is saying and shut up and let go of what you believe happend to the point were the anger you feel you have to ask god to take it as you know if you dont give what you are feeling you alow the flesh to win and cave in

some of the things said to me by the serbians realy hurts they see them selves as supperior to me they see them selves as the only true yugoslavians i am told i am a half cast i have serbian blood running threw my vains not croatian blood running threw my vains yet we speak the same language the only diffrence is our skin color the serbians are white while us croatians are brown or olive brown

yet serbs are also white and brown and olive brown

i have full croatian blood running threw my vains my sister is not a full croatian she has serbian blood runing threw her vains my mother had an affair with a serbian

ther are croatians who are half casts and ther are serbians who are half casts

this is what i was looking for when i began to do some digging in the old testament

was ther one race of people walking this earth or was their white people brown people black people and what we call asians yellow

it does not say what colored group was walking this earth

but we have pics of what jesus looks like

we have films showing us what jesus looked like and his people looked like

we have had diffrent actors play jesus and moses and even king david

do you get what i am saying i am trying to be clear as my grammer is not that good as some of the members who belong to this forum

realy if i was not a christian i would let what i hear by the serbians have its toll on me and i am great full that i can come to god and ask god to take what is said to me

go over the book of genesis honestly and see for your self if your people walked this earth when god had created the world

if god could come down from heaven and do what he did at the tower of babel it shows me that he was the one who created my language for me to speak when i was born in yugoslavia

it shows me it was god who choose what my skin color would be not my parents my mother is a white croatian while my father is a dark brown croatian his skin is dark brown my mothers skin is white my half sister is white i am olive brown my brother is olive brown

we should be able to get on with each other with out running each other down and blamming one group for what is hapening in our countrys we live in

this is just how i am aproaching this know after reading the replys left in this thread racism

I have a question, what in the world is "reverse" racisim. That term sounds more and more foolish everytime I hear it. It is either racism or not. There is no such thing as reverse racisim.

amen!

But I think it means a reaction to racism that is racist itself.

Ok...let me see if I got this right..

If one reacts to racism with racism, that is considered reverse racism; therefore making the person a reverse racist, actually making them not racist at all.;)

That is what they would have us believe...but in reality....wouldn't that instead make them a double racist???

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
