Is America the Great Babylon?

I really believe that America is toast.

Based on what?? The sin of America is no different than the sins found in other nations. America is made up of sinners just like other countries. There is no other country any less deserving of God's judgment than the US. In fact, there are countries far, far, worse the US has ever been, who have shut out the Gospel and made it criminal to even speak of God.

What makes it so important for you to single America out?

For the same reason God has judged nations in the past, America has gone beyond the lawful realm of influence and through their power has manipulated other nations in breech of God's righteousness.

Why do you not answer the questions and actually make a case? There's another brother on the board who believes as you do, but he'd respond with actual substance. I may not agree with him, but at least he has something to offer and shows that he knows his stuff.

What we hear of our society in the USA sounds bad, and our government is not going in the diredtion it should, but there are a lot of good people here, and in our travels through many states in the last year, we net a lot of Christians and other really good people. I'm not sure our country is all that bad as a whole.

I think we'd pass the Sodom and Gomorrah test of a few good people left....... and we might even get our government turned around in November......... who knows. Lets not throw the whole country under the bus just yet.

Yes, those men do say that. But I say it's evident and the evidence has been looked at. Some of us believe it and some don't. But there's no reason to pour over it again and again.

He doesn't have a clue that the truth of the matter is that the Chinese government doesn't care about his house. They'll drive a tank thru it with him and his wife kids inside. How's he gonna defend himself and his property?

We are never coming out of debt, and God has ceased his blessings and turned us into slaves and a people that are hated among the nations. It only gets worse from here.

I am not an American but if America is Babylon then so is my country as we are having the same problems that America is. In fact many western, and possibly other, countries are also having the same problems so they would have to be Babylon too. I know I am blessed by God as my husband and I are buying a house and we have our bills paid and are able to bless others all on an income that is below the UN"s world poverty level. All this guessing that this country or that country is Babylon is just that - guessing. When the time comes for Babylon to be revealed there won't be any guesswork involved in it as people will know that it is.

The debt we have with China can not claim my house should we fail to pay them back....... However the Federal Reserve Banks are a different story. Like Fez, I have a clear deed to our house, but Edmond Rothschild could if he wanted come here and take my house as my part of the national debt.

While your idea of possibly loosing our property is not too far from reality, the ones taking it won't be the Chinese. We have ways of dealing with tanks......

So the Chinese Government do not have eminent domain granted to them by the federal gov.? I must have bee ill informed.

The Chinese do have eminent domain on foreclosed loans that they have purchased........ but that doesn't give them the right to come and get my house if we don't cash their Cd's.

They might be surprised when they bring their tanks over here.
