I have found that when I am angry with Him that it works out best if I just get off by myself and talk it out with him...... I have screamed and yelled and kicked rocks and cans and flailed around on the ground like a two year old having a fit....... I have always had a resolution to my anger before going home and occasionally a serious message or two on how to deal with it.

It helps to analyze your anger.

Why are you angry?

More often than not it boils down to not understanding what is happening in the big scheme, feeling helpless, losing control, etc.

Understanding it this way helps to deal with it. It's easier to lean on the Lord when you realize you are feeling helpless to some degree and need His help.

Why is it in mans makeup the need to blame others for what happens

Genesis 2

12 And the man said, The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.

13 And the LORD God said to the woman, What is this you have done? And the woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate.

Men (and women) have been passing the blame since the first sin. Why should today be any different?

Actually on more than one occasion he's spoken to me..... I got all wound up after my wife started having serious MS symptoms because God wouldn't heal her. She's one of the purest people I've ever known in my life and I know/knew ie wasn't any problem

at all for him to heal her. I was extremely insenced for him letting her suffer so and let hiim know...... after a couple of weeks of festering anger I did the go out by myself in the woods routine and just let him have evry upset emotion I could muster. I figured as an adopted son and her an adopted dughter we had the right to be helped in our need. While never putting God down or anything like that, I demanded to know why..... It was to the point that I really expected a random bolt of lightening to come down and strike me dead.

Well instead what happened was a very quiet and very soft voice that simply said with such emotion, "Sam...... Sam..... Sam, that's really between her and myself and it's really none of your business." Well, I ask, what do you say to that.

Well the story goes further but that's not for this thread. Ultimately she's still functional, but not nearly healed but I learned that there is a reason she's going through this and some day we'll understand why. The experience had drawn me so close to him that I've learned to sense and listen to his proddings and messages concerning my personal life and sometimes how to deal with others.

Interesting article.....I've only known one person who was angry with God (that I know about) to the point where he turned to atheism. I don't understand it at all but I know it happens. From Yahoo Health......

http://health.yahoo....risisstudyfinds

The following, from the article, left me totally bewildered....

"Interestingly, those who don't believe in God or question God's existence reported more anger at God than people who said they believed."

The bible says that Jonah was angry at God because he did not destroy Ninevah. I've been angry because some things did not work out as I wanted that I had prayed and prayed about. And whether you actually say "I'm mad at God", you are really mad at him. God knows we are human and thankfully He is patient with us. Honesty is what is important. God will bring us around to an understanding and repentance if we keep walking with Him.

i've been angry at God more times than i can count. it doesn't mean i don't trust Him, or that i doubt Him. it means that i'm human. it means that i get frustrated because i don't understand His ways, His timing, and i get impatient. or maybe i get angry because i want what i want and i'm being a petulant child.

is it a sin? i don't know. i never thought about it before as being a sin. and i'm not going to start worrying myself about whether it's a sin or not. it happens. and when it happens, i don't hold back, because i know that God knows my thoughts anyway, so i'm gonna be quite honest with Him and tell Him i'm angry. and when i do that, my anger always subsides and i am given the comfort and peace that comes from the Holy Spirit.

i believe God desires us to be honest with Him above all else. so i'm honest. if it's a sin for me to be honest when i'm angry with Him, then so be it. i think it would be a whole lot more offensive if i denied my anger and pretended it didn't exist.

The one time I blew up and showed my anger towards God, I ended up giving my life to Him the next day.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
