This is not about Biblical judgment but rather the type we face on an everyday basis.  I can totally see that most of us judge, and are judged, by the following....what do y'all think?

I think the article was very interesting as well as spot on, in how people do notice the smaller things to judge us by.

#3 I thought was good advice.

#4 got me to wondering about my own self as I don't know if I look in my cup or over it when I'm drinking as I've never noticed that about myself. Now I'll have to ask somebody. lol

1. Your handshake

I admit, I do evaluate the way someone shakes my hand. I dont judge their personality over it but it does seem to affect the way I react to them.

2. Whether you show up on time

I am a bit obsessive over being on time. My hubby isnt. He really needs to be lol.

My pastor though does judge folks on it. If they tend to be late to the service, he takes that as a mark against them for possible service to the church.

3. How you treat restaurant staff

Any staff, whether its a shop or restaurant. If someone tends to be rude to them, that is a black mark against them for sure.

4. Where you look when you drink out of a cup

Not something I ever considered lol.

5. Whether you bite your nails

Not something I ever considered. Since my nails have to be almost nonexistent to play the harp, I wonder how that would be perceived.

6. Your handwriting

When I was a teen, I developed an artistic handwriting style (big and open) because I thought it suited me lol. I didnt like the cramped handwriting I see people have.

7. How often you check your phone

Ok I admit that one does affect how I view someone. If you are talking to me, pay attention to me. If you are checking your phone, Im mentally checking out too.

8. Whether you make eye contact

I dont do eye contact much. Ive heard that someone with something to hide doesnt make eye contact (like liars when confronted). Im just afraid of looking crosseyed lol so I dont make much eye contact. Yes Im insecure lol.

I believe number 8 (eye contact) might be the most important. Number 1 (the handshake) I heard many times is important but I'm afraid of breaking someones hand (specially elderly people), I mean do we squeeze their hand until they say uncle? The next time I drink out of a cup I must pay attention to where I look (that's a new one), I guess I look at the cup because I don't want to miss my mouth.

First impressions.Sometimes they are important.Sometimes they are correct and sometimes they are not regarding a person's character and intregrity

1. Some people think a strong handshake is important.I being a female have shaken many hands and sometimes men want to give me a limp fish handshake just because I am a female.I prefer to give a strong handshake.I have had some who will not let you touch their hands.A possible OCD issue?I think this is more of a guy thing.

2.I think it is important for a person to show up on time.It is rude to make a person wait for a long time.Kind of like their time is more important than the person they have the appointment with.

3.I like to get courteous and efficient service if I am going out to a restaurant.I am alway kind.If I have a server who is rude they simply do not get a tip.

4.I do not see the importance of looking up if you are drinking out of a cup.No big deal to me.
5.It is not my business if someone bites their nails.I am not controlling.

6.I have seen some horrible hand writing in my life.I know that sometimes businesses want a person to print because they need to actually tell what they are saying but I do not see why someone would be judged by their handwriting.I have known some pretty decent people with horrible handwriting.
7.If a person is judging how often person checks their phone it is just a controlling issue or an "It is all about me" issue.

8.Some people can not make eye contract. This is almost impossible for many with Autism. Also for some who have a social anxiety issue.

The only ones that concern me are the handshake (I can't stand a limp handshake) and the nail biting thing; that will drive me straight up the wall!  I literally can't look at someone who is biting their nails.  Sets my teeth on edge.   I had to literally stop and pay attention to where I look when I take a drink because I had never thought about it and I've never noticed what anyone else does either.  It's amazing what people judge each other on, eh?

Rapid assessment would be more like it.  And these indicators do tell a lot about ourselves.

I am more concerned with those who break the law everyday.Speeding, using their cell phone and texting(which is against the law in my state) going through red lights and jaywalking.I mean no one pays attention to those things anymore and they are the law.

1, I like a good strong handshake, shows confidence.

2, I think it is respectful to show up on time, I would agree with Jade's pastor about people showing u on time for church, again showing up on time shows commitment.

3, I am not really a waiter, bur a fast food cashier, I have been treated with great kindness and respect by some people, and like a complete load of skybalon (some of you will get this) by others, it is very hard not to judge people in this way.

4, I don't really notice, but then I look into the cup, so am not very observant.

5, I don't notice.

6, I don't really take this into consideration, I have very small and usually illegible writing myself, so I can't judge people.

7, This to me is a nervousness and insecurity.

8, Eye contact for me is a huge obstacle, as I find it hard to make eye contact with people, and yes I get judged on it. It is something I am working on.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
