Maybe I just don't see attaching different scriptures together as you do to make one single story.

Very interesting rebuttal Other One… or is that actually some sort of passive aggressive accusation that so many professing “Christian’s” seem to engage in on forums when they don't like what another has posted, especially if they were wrong? For really, what else could your words imply other than I am twisting scriptures to create a lie? I don’t really see another way to interpret your words above, since “to make” something implies fabrication which determines which definition of your elective desc

If you wish to put it into those words, then yes, I think you are joining scripture that was not intended to be joined and creating something that is not true....     a lie for it is not an accident, but a purposeful non truth.

Now we know were each other stands. For you to assert I am intentionally submitting "a purposeful non truth" is to declare me an enemy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe you are now required to substantiate such a direct and open accusation against a brother.

Trust me, I do not take this lightly before the Lord.

I think......   I don't have to do anything to justify anything.......   you can say or do what you wish, but those are my thoughts.

America is about to go into captivity for a brief season, then absolute destruction.

Revelation 13:10 - He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Revelation 18:9 - And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, 10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment [radiation], saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. 11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: 12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. 14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment [radiation], weeping and wailing, 16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! 17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, 18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! 19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

Hi BlindSeeker,

I see what you are saying about the potential that Revelation 18 could represent America because it says that the merchants are crying because Babylon is not importing goods from around the world (Revelation 18:15-19).  Present statistics suggest that we consume more in the US than in anywhere else in the world.  "The U.S. remains the per capita consumption leader for most resources," (http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/american-consumption-habits).  Over the years, we have outsourced most of our manufacturing sector elsewhere and now are dependent on imports in many ways.  So, Revelation 18 does represent the US in many respects.  However, I do not see where you have made a case for how Revelation 18:9-19 connects to Revelation 13:10.  The judgement of Babylon has it's own judgement detailed independently.  Revelation 13:10 is in regard to many of the lesser judgement's that the Revelation does not take the time to address in the same amount of detail.  Take care.

Sorry, BlindSeeker, I also don't think we can specifically apply Revelation to America being judged.

Ok. Thanks for sharing...  I guess...

Hello to you Esther4:14,

True, I didn’t make a case in my post to correlate Revelation 18:9-19 to Revelation 13:10. I was just entering the conversation with stating my position and offering a few verses to start off with.

I shared Revelation 13:10 simply because it reveals the principle behind God’s judgments whereby the saints can be patient in their afflictions and remain faithful knowing that God’s judgment lingers not, but will come in its due season.

Revelation 13:9 - If any man have an ear, let him hear.  10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

I shared Revelation 18:9-19 because it speaks of the absoluteness of that judgment that will befall both the woman and the beast that carries her as they go into perdition. However, that union between the two does not exist when the eighth beast initially ascends into its zenith of power, but occurs prior to its destruction. That makes the pope’s visit this month very interesting…

For Revelation 13 introduces the seven-headed beast that rises up out of the sea and its leader, the second beast that rises out of the earth and briefly address thing that distinguishes them both by certain historical events. Chapter 14 addresses the 144,000 before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders and the another angel preaching the everlasting gospel “Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come. Then two angels come to reap the earth, one delivering God’s people from the outpouring of God’s wrath and the other gathering the wicked to their destruction, which is most likely the nations being drawn together for the great battle at the return of Christ as He treads the nations with the fierceness of the wrath of Almighty God.

Chapter 15 introduces the “seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.” These each in their proper order pour out their vials upon the earth as the plagues begin to fall upon the inhabitants of the earth. Upon their departure from heaven the heavenly temple is “filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.”

Chapter 16 continues with the plaques being poured out, but when the fifth vial is poured out “the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain.” This is the destruction of the capital of the beast and it beginning of the eight’s perdition. Vial 6 makes way for the rest of the enemies of Israel as God now begins to gather them to their destruction as well.

Revelation 16:16 - And He [God] gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Chapter 17 John is seen as being overwhelmed by the vision he has just seen and one of the angels come to explain to him “the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” It is at this time that the angel continues the vision by carrying John “me away in the spirit into the wilderness” where he sees “a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.” It is here that John learns of the union between the civil beast empire and the harlot religious system and is told of the unique judgment that befalls their empires (chapter 18) prior to their leaders’ personal destruction at, or just before the Battle of Armageddon which occurs in Chapter 19.

Peace

Touchy? I was simply acknowledging your comment directed to me and the lack of explanation with it.

Is this how you fellowship at church or with new guests when they come or when you first meet them? Sour fruit friend...

It also doesn't mention the antichrist.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
