Your Closest Friend,

Can you give the Book, Chapter and verse in the Old Testament where it says that God cannot give life to anyone.

David specifically states that he knows he will yet see God...yet he died. He has the hope of eternal life because he knows he had a Redeemer, the Son of God.

Two others who do live yet did not die are Enoch and Elijah . Therefore God is the God of the living, today and forever if we put our trust in Him. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus lives because He did not die but overcame/ defeated death, because of the curse placed on man in the Garden of Eden because he did not obey God's word.

If God can give life, we do not need the Christ.

That's why the promise was made about the Christ, who will come and give life, because God couldn't give life, the people were separated from him, all people had death, from their Father Adam, even the children of Abraham including him self had the death of Adam in them.

Review the meaning of life and or death within this context, so we are on the same page.

God never said he can remove the death in people and give them of his Spirit, the testimony of God that they are in his Life.

That is very strange talk, since God says that He is not the God of the dead but of the living, and that implies eternal life.

No one had the eternal life, not even Jesus. He was the one to be, the Eternal Life or the Christ, or the Life giver, but only after his sacrifice on the Cross. If he was found without Sin, and he remain in the Life.

Look carefully, in the good news of the Gospel, God couldn't have children of his Spirit, children with his Life in them.

The born from above.

The Christ will Redeemed, bye them with his blood,

For that to happen he must die first.

Jesus died on the Cross.

Lambsy asked to see the verse of Scripture for the above statement,,,,,there is none

God most certainly does give LIFE,He breathed the Breath of Life into Adam when He Created  & as Lambsy also stated the accounts of both Enoch & Elijah who never saw physical death......

I think the confusion here may be that friendnt is trying to explain that we could not have the Helper be with us ,indwell us without Jesus Death & Resurrection, make no mistake friendnt,God is ABLE to do ALL things,,,,,,but this was how He made the Way for us BELIEVERS to Receive His Grace,Jesus Finished Work on the Cross to pay our penalty, for the Forgiveness of our sins by the shedding of His Blood & through our Faith we are Saved by His Grace,,,,,,

Blessings Kwik,

God the FATHER has never given life to anyone.

He was not the one who gave life to Adam.

The Christ to be, he was the one who created everything and man also, he was the one who gave life to Adam.

God the FATHER had only one Son, that what he said at the Baptism of Jesus.

Jesus who was the only one and the first one out of the Garden with the life of God in him.

God did not have to give life to Jesus, he was born with it, he brought the life he had before with him.

During his baptism, we see that the Heavens open and the Holy Spirit of God found the only one who had the life of God in him.

That was The first time the Spirit of God was given to a man, the next time it was on the day of Pentecost, it was given to the children who had the eternal life of Jesus Christ in them.

You can see that God the FATHER has never given life to no man.

The Christ to be was the one who gave life to Adam, and after he died on the Cross he gives life by adaptation to every one who believes in him.

As he is we are, he will have the life in him eternally, and so do we, we are his adapted children, we sin and we disobey but we still remain in his life, the life of God.

This is eternal life, even thought we sin, we still remain in his life, the life eternal.

Sin can not give us death any more.

Denial of Jesus as the Christ is Death. But we believe.

We are sinners with the eternal life in us. One with Jesus Christ. As long as we believe we will never be seperated from him.

Jesus is our righteousness and our eternal life.

The Christ to be it was the one who gave life to Adam, and was known later on as the Lord God of the Jews (Israelites). And he gave only life to one Man, Adam and to no one else after the Fall, to no one.

It was not God the FATHER.

David knew that his Lord God is the Christ to be. And he also had the revelation of God the Father, because he said the Lord ( God the FATHER), said to my Lord (his Lord God).

Sit to my right on the Throne of Heavens, he show the Glory of his Lord God as the Christ.

David understood, that he can not be with his Lord God that time, that he has to go to Sheol, but one day the Christ to be (the Lord God), will come and take him out from there to be with him in his Glorious Heaven. But he had to wait, for him to go to Sheol , and take him out from there. David died without the life of Christ in him.

His Lord God  can not give him life, and he can not be his redeemer to redeemed him from the inherited death in him, abd from Sheol, till the time that as the Christ Jesus he died on the Cross.

First of all, we have to distinguish those two people from the rest, and we may include Mosses, and we must.

We must keep in mind that if the above people had died, they would go the way of David, and this is for more than one reason.

They did not have the life in them, they were children of the fallen inheritance, they had death in them,

And the other reason is that the man received a Heavenly inheritance only with Christ. Before Jesus Christ died there was only one inheritance for man when he died, and that was pointing only down, Sheol, Hades.

God sent transportation for them and took them to Heaven before they died, it was sort of an abduction, that's the only way he could prevent then from going to Sheol, for the Devil to take them.

If he had waited for them to live their bodies he can not take them anymore. The smell of death was upon them and not the aroma of life.

The one who had the life, you can see that the FATHER did not sent transportation for him to go up in the Heavens,

He went up just like that, he was Heavenly and that's where he came from, and that's where he went to his Glory.

Forgive me for not reading through 19 pages and for most likely repeating many other posts.

The free gift was earned and is by works...His Work...a work we could not even begin to approach as far as meeting the needed demands for our forgiveness/reconciliation...thus it needed to be a free gift or else we perish.

The eternal life is Jesus, when he lived on earth he had the life of God, and he was the eternal life to be, but not just yet..

Not before his death, because till the last moment he could disobey God and loose his own life just like Adam, and if that had happened we will loose our only hope for Heavens.

Jesus after the Cross he can not sin, he will remain in the life for ever, eternally, thats why now is call the eternal life, and when we believe in him we receive from his life and his life is eternal.

We sin, but not him, but even thought we sin we remain in his life, we don't die like the first Adam, for we adapted by him, as he is so we are.

He is in the life, we are (sinners with the life of Jesus Christ in us). In the life, when we sin, we do not die we remain in the life, the children of the blood and the life of Jesus Christ.

The redeemed by his blood. And we have the life of above, and an inheritance above, when we die we do not go down to Hell, we are going up to Heavens, if Jesus is in Heavens, let him stay there.

I do understand what you are trying to say but I am not sure our readers will......however,there is a problem here     What we MUST always Understand & acknowledge is that Jesus is God,so the Father ,the Son & the Holy Spirit are ALL Almighty God......I believe you may not grasp the GodHead Triune, though our God is ONE GOD,He is 3 Persons,God the Father,God the Son & God the Holy Spirit,,,,,this is why nothing that was made(given Life) was made without Him(Jesus)  They were made THROUGH HiM(Jesus).......still,they are ONE GOD.....God indeed has given life....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
