Blessings Brothers & Sisters,,,,,

Many of us have been here for some time,we know the rules,we know the protocol,,,,,we are not only seasoned Worthy members but mature Christians as well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,so we should lead by example, don't you think so?We are United by our Faith,One Body with Christ as our Head,,,,we have learned to do things decently & in order,to be still & wait on our Lord,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,we are representatives of Jesus Christ,King of kings,,,Lord of lords,,,,,,,,WOW,when it is put that way it makes you stop to give yourself a "once over",doesn't it?

Well,I just want to take a moment to make mention of a few things that we could ALL stand to improve on,,,,,,,,,& as members of the Same Body we should be able to support one another & work together like a fine ,precise,Swiss time piece,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,no big deal but it is "the little things" that make the difference between this Worthy Ministry and just another website,,,,,,we are proud(for Christ we boast)that this is not some social media network but that it is in fact a very Worthy & Blessed place where we (Gods children ) gather,,,,we welcome all people & hope that they too will discover what we have at the Foot of the Cross!!!!!

Okay, the little things,,,,,,,,a new member comes onto the Welcome Forum with a 700 word questionaire-lol      Thats not the bad part, they don't know any better & have probably not read our ToS ,,,,,,,,,,,,but we do,Brothers & Sisters ,and yet we have "seasoned members" engaging in discussion time & time again & engaging in a discussion that should not be taking place(it's not the time or the place!!!),,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it only takes a moment to explain our 5 post rule & encourage them to post in a proper forum, are we so vain & seeking instant gratification that we cannot wait  to give our worldly advice? When we guide a newbie with love & kindness(& follow our own ToS) then they start out with the understanding that WE DO have rules & do things properly, decently & in order,,,,,,,,,,,,,let's do our best to set a good example

Conversations or topics not suitable for a family friendly enviornment,,,,,,,,that's kind of a biggie,,,,      Many new members do not know what is acceptable by our "Worthy" standards, but we do! Worthy Christian Forums does not have an age requirement,a very young person can read what we post & we cannot assume that their parents will oversee what they are reading,,,,,,,that is why we have included password protected forums & George has given us many different ones to accommodate every thing possible,,,,,we have adult, ladies only, men only and even golden oldies     I have seen some very inappropriate subjects (for the young) being posted,,,,the proper thing to do is report the subject matter so the thread can be addressed by a mod,,,,,not reply so the thread can be kept alive on the main board! The mods cannot see EVERYTHING at ALL times but there is enough of us here that we can help out by working effectively as One Body...............

I do hope this is a good & positive influence for us all,a gentle little reminder that we cannot slack off because of who we are,Ambassadors for Christ,,,,,be a good example, reach out to someone new and show them the Worthy way,be kind,be loving,be patient,be encouraging,,,,,,,remember how it was when you first arrived & how good it felt to be welcomed with love,,,,,,,,,,,,,,God Bless us all & God Bless this Ministry.Glory to God!

                                                                                                                      With love-in Christ,Kwik

Very good and timely reminder. All our words must be weighed in the light of the admonition that we will be judged for every word written or uttered, and that we are to "walk circumspectly" (KJV) which means carefully and diligently.

I stand in full agreement with my sister Kwik on this topic.

And as a char room servant I would like to post a couple of reminders on chat room etiquette and leading by example. this also includes  me.  I to needed a heads up.

There to, are many seasoned  members and mature Christians that seem to  have forgotten the main purpose of the chat room which  is not just merely  socializing but to bring the Word of God and His truth to new people who  come in seeking the truth that we hold in our hearts and have tasted of the goodness of God.  I have been in the chat room were new members  were not greeted as they should be. Some of them were not greeted at all.

When I first came to Worthy in 04 I was thrilled to find a  place where God was proclaimed and I was welcomed as a sister in the Lord. We are still that, but I think all of us need to be refreshed by His Spirit.  I know I need it all the time.  There are times when we need to laugh, and get just silly. Those times are good too, But our main goal should be proclaiming Jesus.

I have been a mod in chat now for 10 years and still am honored to be a servant of this amazing ministry that I have grown to love and the people that make it up.  My desire is to  proclaim Jesus and His  truth of His salvation and everything that goes along with it.  That is why we were told to go into the world and preach the Gospel to every living creature.

My heart is for a lost and dying world.  Our time may be short so we need to be about our Fathers Business.

We as believers are to lead by example, the example of our Lord Jesus.

We do not follow what the world says but what God's Words says.  There are no gray areas in the Word. Jesus said your either for Me or against Me.  We cannot stand with one foot in the world and one foot in the Kingdom of God.

As Christians we are the salt and light of this earth. We are here to make a difference and plant a seed to those who do not know Christ. Some may come right out and say they are not a believer and some are a Christian in name only even though they are labeled as a Christian. All these people need is have their brains digest the true word of God.The truth. They do not have to agree but they will be judged for either living those words or denying them.People will also be judged for posting false doctrine and allowing a person to stumble and fall.

Kwik I think you can suggest what should be happening on Worthy with the 5 post rule and many do not care.We can suggest until we are batting our heads against the wall. The problem with those protected threads is that no one goes to them. They are dead.People get frustrated after not getting their post answered after 2 months and then they post it on the regular sites. Is there a solution to that?I think it would be appropriate to not post anything that is not suitable for all ages. There are some subjects that can be helpful for young adults and they can learn from them but we need to have common sense on that.

Worthy is one of the last true Christian message boards left. There are some that are very, very bad.It is mostly false doctrine and that includes the moderators.I guess the bad find the bad and stick together.

Interesting conversation, I mostly go into the doctrine questions only so I'm used to sarcasm and a couple angry people.  But it is refreshing to have seen these posts because love rules!  Thankyou for the reminder.

I think this is a very good point.  Sometimes, I find that I am even more offended by the posts of some people who have been posting in the thousands for several years because I know they have established some time here.  I guess it is just wishful thinking that all Christians acted the same way that my sweet Sunday school teacher did when I growing up.  I know one of the reasons that I am saved today is because that little women was praying for me for years no matter what I did.  I miss that kind of thing a lot.  I don't see that as much anymore.  Sometimes, it upsets me but then I remember how effective what she did for me was and I would like to do the same for someone someday as well.  :)

Blessings Peeps,,,,

Thats right,,,,,,I will keep reminding everyone of the 5 post rule or any other ToS that is not followed until I am blue in the face OR as you say "Until I am batting my head against the wall"(Which I will never do so It looks like I will always be a reminder!!!)       Why? Because I care & if anyone does not care then perhaps it would be a good thing if they were given a warning by a mod instead of a simple reminder from me,,,,,,,,,Plus,we are Christians & how can anyone call themselves a Christian and then not follow rules,,,,,,we are accountable for all of our actions (& words) and we should try our very best to do all things decently & in order as the Word of God tells us to,,,,,,,Besides, how does a new member learn or know what is expected if no one takes the time to tell them or show them?

It is a very simple rule, not hard to follow ,,,,,,if a new members first experience at Worthy is to witness every member ignoring a simple little rule or ToS then what does that say about us?What it says is "You can do whatever you like, whenever you like & wherever you like,," Might as well say whatever you like while we are at it!!!!!!    That is not what Worthy Christian Forums is all about, there are plenty of websites out there (Christian) that run amok,we are a Ministry,,we are the Body of Christ,,,,,,not just some website  act like it! That does include correcting  one another & looking out for one another that we may not stumble

As far as people getting frustrated with the password protected forums I do think that a big part of the problem is the location of them,,,,,,,the Fellowship Hall has been over run with humurous, joke threads that bump anything off the main board the very moment it is posted,I've experienced this myself,,,,,,,,I think those threads belong in the Humor Forum because the people that frequent them are not going to make way for serious threads or post less anytime soon(I know you enjoy them & I mean no disrespect,it is just my opinion)       Also, most of us seasoned members (I'm pretty sure) don't really discuss anything that is not suitable for the main boards  & so the protected forums seen "dead"& if a topic was 'iffy" we would simply be careful of our content & word usage,,,,,,,,,,,it seems people that have issues they want to discuss that cannot be viewed by members of all ages are usually younger & not mature in their walk, with that comes impatience, frustration, the desire for instant gratification etc,,,,,,,,,as we once were, remember? Is there a solution,of course there is,,,,,They can always ask a mod for help & they will get it,,,,,,,,I cannot imagine any mature Christian posting a question ,not getting an answer in 2 months & getting disgusted, there are so many other mature Christians & mods to PM,,,,,,,,,all problems are solvable when the Body of Christ works together effectively

Well,I am hopeful,,,,, I believe with all my heart that the majority does care ,the majority are Spirit Filled Christians that came to Worthy for a Purpose,,,,,to be Blessed & to be a Blessing as well, giving Glory to God!Sometimes we just have to take a moment to try to remember why we first came here & how it was for us & why are we here,,,,,,,we are here because we were lead here by God & we are United by our Faith in the True knowledge of our Lord & Savior,Jesus Christ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,with that first & foremost in our minds & hearts, how can we go wrong?

Someone is always watching, reading,,,,,,,,it may be the first & last time they ever have any look at what a Christian is,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,or the only time they ever had exposure to WHO Jesus is,,,,,,,Worthy is much more than a message board, this is where we find Gods Family,,,,,,,,,,So,lets lead by example, right to the foot of the Cross!Praise Jesus!                                                                          With love-in Christ, kwik

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
