Let us take a close look at the Word Jesus Christ and what He truly says.

Matt 24:35 to 25:13  v36 - No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. v. 13 - Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or hours.  Both referring to the Rapture.

If one takes a close look at Matt 24:36; it is only God the Father who knows when this event will take place.  And since Jesus Christ is the Word and all oral and written Scripture comes out from the Word, And this Word was established before Creation; I see a belief issue here, some of you state that the timing of the Rapture is indeed in our Scriptures.  With this in mind, there are only two choices, either Jesus Christ the Word is Absolutely True (Heaven and Earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away Matt 24:35) , or there is error in the Word.  And many of you choose there is error in the Word, by your responses.  By Jesus' own Words, stating that Only God the Father Knows, is testifying that He Jesus does not know, and thus it is not in Scripture.

Do you see.  If the timing of the Rapture was indeed in our Scriptures, and we can obtain information from them, then Only God the Father Knowing is a lie.  Then if true that Only God the Father Knows, then the timing is not in Scripture, and many of you are lacking vital information.  Which Jesus do you believe?

And Jesus Christ states of/in His Word - That Only God the Father Knows.  Period, This is the Absolute Truth.  And yet many of you take the other approach, which is that the timing of the Rapture can be found in the Scriptures, and this is an Absolute Lie.

Which one is the TRUTH?  It is one or the other.  This is an Authority issue.  For you do not know who or what the Word really is.

In Christ

Day or hour, Marv.  Day or hour.  That does not translate into being totally oblivious, or unknowable, as you are trying to project.

Can you know when an event will take place in relation to another event without knowing the exact day?

For example, If I say that I will come visit you sometime during the week after Christmas, do you know the day or hour?  No.  All you know is that it is during the week after Christmas.

By the same token, we can know when the resurrection / rapture happens in relation to other events without knowing the day or hour.

Day or hour.  Small window.

No you cannot. It is all in the Father's hand. Not in Christ's hand. Thus you will not find it in the Scripture. For this is where most error.

The key points are (1) the Bible nowhere encourages us to attempt to discover the timing of Jesus’ return and (2) the Bible gives no explicit data by which the timing of Jesus’ return can be determined. Rather than developing wild and speculative calculations to determine when Jesus is coming back, the Bible encourages us to “keep watch” and “be ready” (Matthew 24:42-44). The fact that the day of Jesus’ return is unknown should motivate us to live every day in light of the imminence of Christ’s return.

Paul knew when the rapture would take place.  He even told us when.

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Saying "no one knows," and saying "no one will ever know," are two entirely different things: but you keep on insisting on making them the same.

Eisegesis [ < Greek eis- (into) + hègeisthai (to lead).] A process where one leads into study by reading a text on the basis of pre-conceived ideas of its meanings. It is rare for someone to be called an 'eisegete', because eisegesis has a well-earned negative reputation.

... In eisegesis, we read stuff into Scripture.

Okay , this topic is making me dizzy , so lets look at what the scripture says ? and then examine, what it tells us, and how we are not of the dark and so we will not be caught off guard , but to those that are not watching,  it will , come as a thief, in the night ,

now to get this right we need to read it in its complete text, and I got most of it with out grabbing the whole chapter, so lets look at what it tells us,?

Matthew 24:29   Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Matthew 24:30   And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Matthew 24:31   And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Matthew 24:32   Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

Matthew 24:33   So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Matthew 24:34   Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Matthew 24:35   Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Matthew 24:36   But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Matthew 24:37   But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Matthew 24:38   For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

Matthew 24:39   And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Matthew 24:40   Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Matthew 24:41   Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Matthew 24:42   Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Matthew 24:43   But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Matthew 24:44   Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Matthew 24:45   Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

Matthew 24:46   Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Matthew 24:47   Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

  Matthew 24:48   But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

  Matthew 24:49   And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

Matthew 24:50   The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

Matthew 24:51   And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Thank you, SS.  You just posted most of the verses that speak to the PreTrib Rapture. Can't get much clearer.

The Lord Jesus Christ seated at the  right hand of the Father, in the Godhead, says to His Body (Body of Christ) by His Holy Spirit, -

`But you, brethren are NOT IN DARKNESS, that that day  should over take you as a thief. You are children of the light....`(1 Thess. 5: 4 & 5)

`...exhorting one another, & so much more as you see the day approaching.` (Heb. 10: 25)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
