For God speaks once, yes twice, though man pays no attention. In a dream, in a vision of the night,  when deep sleep falls on men  in slumbering on the bed; Job33.14-15.

I have many dreams and consider them very carefully. Usually I write them down even if I don't understand it. I would like to know if any other christian have dreams too and how much attention do you pay to it? Did any dream of yours come true and happened as you saw it? Or was any dream that really disturb you?

I have dreams. I dicern them. bible says to cast down anything that would exalt its self above our knowledge of God. We measure them against the knowledge of God.  Writing down dreams and prayers has been a blessing to me. I have dream and pray journals all the way back to the 80'2. It is so encouraging to look back and take note of how God has answered my prayers, resolved my conflicts and has moved me where he wants to use me. I have had dreams i know were a quickening to interceed. One of my close church sisters shiwed up in my dream and we were running from one disaster to another. I was concerned and wanted to call her when i woke up. i didnt have her phone number so i called another sister. she didnt have her number either. i told her my drean and conscerns. We started to pray for her on the phone. my friend said "lets go pray at her house." The one i dreamed about has a gate at the road and about a 1/2 mile drive way. So we parked at her gate just off the road and started to pray. Before we hardly started praying my friend i had dreamed of was coming down the drive way sweeping at the ground and swinging her broom and shouting at an invisable advisary. So we got out of the car told her about my dream and why we were there. she said, "good, lets pray." Her whole family had been under attack for weeks and she had had enough. Lord put it in her heart to clean her house. She said, she started sweeping and interceeding for her household and just felt she had to sweep the problems all the way down the drive and off her property and there we were to help her clean her house. we all prayed till we had a spirit of joy and gratitude. My sister i dreamed about testified of her victory, what ever that thing she chased down the drive way was it was gone and didn't come back.

The dream that really helped me start dicrening and i was so happy i wrote down was a dream of children screaming being slaughterd and i could hear them screaming but couldnt see them or get to them in the dark. I woke up with a heavy heart it was a feeling i never felt before. i have to use a farm to market road to get from my house to town. on my way to town i was going up the hill and i got that dark feeling again it was recognizable the same as the dream left me with.

So im praying Lord what is this? and it went away as i went down the hill. on my way home i got to the hill and it came back, i went down the other side and even though i was praying it got heavier and heavier the farther i got away from the hill. so i turned around went back to the crest of the hill parked and prayed for the children in my dream, cried, prayed for the angels of the Lord to save the children i could not see or reach till my heavyness became joy and gratitude. Later that same after noon a school bus and a trash truck collided at the top of that hill. the children were thrown out of the bus and all over the road even under the garbage truck. they were all treated for minor injuries and sent home. my husband was young in the Lord and often mocked me cause sometimes i said i think the lord wants me to do this, or that or go here or go there. he would say, you probably need to get some medicine for those voices in your head. well he had driven by the wreck and stopped by the gas station close to our house for a beer on his way home. He is the one who told me what had happened. I cried and cried and he said, "what the hell are you crying for they were all ok" so i gave him my journal where i wrote about my dream that morning and my trip to town and my prayers on that hill for angels of God to save the children i could not see or reach. He never mocked me again. And I wrote that in my journal as another answered pray cause i had wrote in my journal my pray to help my husband understand me.

I have a very active dream world but I do not take them very seriously. I do not consider them to be prophetic. Our mind is very active when we sleep. Our dreams may help our brain to process our daily thoughts. There is a lot of debate of what dreams actually are.

Yes, for sure the Lord speaks to us in various ways, and dreams are one way that He speaks.  Maybe it is different for other people, but one way I know when a dream is from the Lord is that the dream is very clear, orderly and to the point, so to speak, and I easily remember them......whereas my own dreams tend to be rambling and all over the place as though my mind is just hashing things out, and often I forget what the dream was about as soon as I awake.   Some dreams from the Lord have left me with almost lingering physical sensations, like taste, smell or a feeling, though they are usually not emotional per se, except sometimes joy.  Though again it might be different for different people too, for example I have heard of some people dreaming in very vivid colours, whereas for me I don't notice colours, they are just natural colours in my dreams.  I can't recall off the top of my head having any specific dreams forecasting of physical events, my dreams tend to be like the bible........spiritually instructive, spiritual warnings and encouragements, promises, etc, some of which have come to pass, others still in waiting.  A couple of dreams having to do with buying and then selling a house, were the most 'practical' kind of dreams I have had....just a matter of obeying the Lord's instruction.

When I was seven I had a vivid dream of the Lord Jesus looking at me. I looked at him and smile. He then look unhappy. I then stop smiling and felt like I was guilty.  He ten said I know you and you have faith. But you will not follow me. I said I want to follow you. He then said I know but you won't.  But when you are old I will help you. Boy was he right. I follow him now but did not when I was young. He did help me to learn to follow him but it took a long time.

I have what I would consider normal dreams. Nothing deep. Sometimes weird. As a child, I had nightmares occasionally, but haven't had one in years.

My dreams are no longer in color. That is very common when you get older. My dreams used to have a lot of beautiful colors. I used to fly a lot in my dreams too. I do not do much of that either any more.

usually if I dream I don't remember it at all but

I still have dreams once in a while where I am put through  scenarios and I get to see how I react.

At times I may be questioned or told why I handle things a certain way

often I'm not doing it right so then I'm told and shown how I should handle the situation and this may go on for a few nights

Usually within a few days in real life I have it come up sometimes I do ok othertimes not quite right so we go over it again.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
