The attempt to discover or influence the future by means forbidden by God, including the use of magic, divination, astrology or witchcraft. Such practices are strongly condemned in Scripture. You can even consider scriptures like rebellion is like the sin of witch craft. Or control, intemidation, manipulation and dominance aspects of sorcery. Babylon probably represents a center of seduction. Deception or Suduceeing could apply.

Thankfully Satans fallen angels  are in God's Sovereign control, as their leach get's longer they will begin through Muslims be able to slaughter Christians in North America.

Men do commit sorceries, but here God is speaking to the harlot concerning her city Babylon.  She is the one who has used sorcery to deceive men.  She has tricked all men starting from the greatest (the merchants) to the least (all inhabitants of the nations), to come under her spell.  She has intoxicated all for the lust of the material with all the worldy things she can provide. 

Her sorcery is her seduction on us, ....her temptations, and lures and traps to enslave us for the desire of these things, making us think that we need all these things and can be happy with all she can provide...... through her merchants, .....her great men, her chosen ones.......for without them we cannot buy.  She has blessed them, and made them strong, using them for her purpose to enchant us.  They have been deceived and we also,...all are caught in her web...her trickery, but she only brings destruction of the soul, leaving it bare and empty. 

All are made drunk from her, from her sorceries.

Well said Sister and very good explanation.   I would think also, that although she is the one who has used sorcery to deceive men, she has also trained men to do her doings also and learn her art.  She has intoxicated them, but how, by what means.  Is it inducing a spiritual [token or entity ] that is placed upon that person spirit and that person can feel and taste ecstasy, yes i definitely think and know this.   So sorcery uses the spiritual realm of sensual and magical manipulations of men, who in turn uses those entities for seducing and betwiching men into buying and selling goods, doing evil acts and causing havoc to other men souls.  It also involves mind manipulation to bring about utopian feelings witch goes into all types of realms, like sex ect.  Sorcery is a very powerful tool of satan that men may think is passive today, but is active and deep rooted in our world today.

Yes the leash will increase.  But just wait till it gets so long the world is led into the answer to world peace and security.
