Sure.  But you are describing emotional responses you have to what you see,  not facts.

mistreatment, unkind words, belittling, attacking one's faith in Christ. Attacking their character because beliefs are a bit different.

Can people choose to not fellowship with others without the dislike, criticism or negative words (hate)?

Can they just not fellowship?

Why do they choose to negatively and forcefully assert themselves (attack) others?

So then  I give you the Lord definition.

Man is also a social being that does not like his territory to be invaded.  Your topic is not that easily answered in a few words, as it it pervades man's history and there is enough evidence of wars ect.   A believer on the other hand has mindset changed to see the world differently and not get entangled by the patters that plagues the carnal man.  So hate for the things you described should not be part of his baggage.   Fellowship is personal choice and as it is described, you cannot pare  the mule with a donkey when plowing the field.

Personal choice. So they don't have to try or even sit there to defend. Just bring the word.

Jesus never said to call them names, or even call them liars. He simply said. Leave and dust your feet.

Guess he don't want the mule and donkey fighting because then no plowing will get done. ?

all these denominations ...what a babel. huh!... devils in the detail and now the NAR  wants us to be all one big happy family. everything is twisted imo its like Alice in the l00king glass. is there one good remanent left? indeed was there ever such a thing?  and what a lot of folk do is get busy arguing scripture all the time and needing to have the last word and so its never ending.

the only thing is the bible and getting to know God's word and leaving folk to carrying on arguing is about the best and only outcome. imo. dont get distracted as who would be the author of that hey.

I agree , accept the one challenging their words is not "attacking" them.  Though they whose egos are easily threatened can perceive it as a "personal" affront.

I would say it has more to do with how the disagreement is worded and less to do with being easily threatened.  I can tell someone that a disagree with them and state why, but if I start saying they are a false teacher, stupid, not saved, just to bolster my stance, it is an attack on the person they are responding to.  In today's world, it is so easy to spit out demeaning words as we hide behind an anonymous username, saying things we would not to a persons face.  In fact, due to this ability, more relish immaturity over maturity as they know they can get away with it.

A true follower of Christ will mature as time goes on, putting away the childish things they once held so dear.

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
