We may affirm that by the will of God, nothing is given to us without Mary's mediation, in such a way that just as no one can approach the Almighty Father but through His Son, so no one, so to speak, can approach Christ but through His Mother.Pope Leo XIII, Adjutricem populi, 5 September 1895: http://www.rosarychurch.net/mary/mediatrix.html

Pope Leo XIII, Adjutricem populi, 5 September 1895: O Virgin most holy, none abounds in the knowledge of God except through thee. None, O Mother of God, obtains salvation except through thee. None receives a gift from the throne of mercy except through thee.

From Bishop Liguoris' "The Glories of Mary", APPROVED by the vatican! "She (Mary) is . . . the ONLY hope of sinners: (p. 69),"We will be heard and saved sooner by going to Mary, and invoking her holy name, than that of Jesus our Savior. We will find salvation sooner going to the mother than going to the Son" (p. 82),"Many things asked of God and not received are asked and received from Mary (p. 82). All obey the precepts of Mary, even God" (p. 115). ALL CATHOLIC LIES!

CHAPTER III.

SECT. 1. Hail, our hope ! Mary is the hope of all 115

SECT. 2. Mary, the hope of sinners 187

The catholic organisation teaches that mary is "Debtor to sinners", "Ladder and vehicle to Heaven", "Throne of grace", "Dispensatrix of graces". These are all LIES, for these titles belong to Jesus Christ, NOT mary.

"honor the Virgin Mary, and ye shall have life and eternal salvation"

In 1904 POPE PIUS X told catholics they have to worship mary.

"For to be right and good, worship of the Mother of God ought to spring from the heart; acts of the body have here neither utility nor value if the acts of the soul have no part in them" ENCYCLICAL OF POPE PIUS X ON THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION Given at Rome in St. Peter's on the second day of February, 1904, in the first year of Our Pontificate. http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/pius_x/encyclicals/documents/hf_p-x_enc_02021904_ad-diem-illum-laetissimum_en.html

17. For to be right and good, worship of the Mother of God ought to spring from the heart; acts of the body have here neither utility nor value if the acts of the soul have no part in them. Now these latter can only have one object, which is that we should fully carry out what the divine Son of Mary commands. For if true love alone has the power to unite the wills of men, it is of the first necessity that we should have one will with Mary to serve Jesus our Lord. What this most prudent Virgin said to the servants at the marriage feast of Cana she addresses also to us: "Whatsoever he shall say to you, do ye" (John ii., 5).

CCC 2676, 2675, 2679 teaches prayers to mary.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ has absolutely nothing to do with Mary. None of the Apostles ever mentioned Mary in their Epistles. Jesus never directed us to recognize Mary. In fact, the Bible clearly states in Matthew 11:11 that there has never been a child born amongst women greater than John the Baptist.

Thanks for exposing these passages from the RCC. People need to know these facts about the RCC.

Actually this is seen as some as an act of selfishness on Mary's part; she wanted glory through her Son. That is why Jesus rebuked her because He is not a magician. He didnt want to be bothered about trivial stuff.

she wanted the wedding reception to go smoothly, so yea a selfishness thought about that, for the wedding was of a relative and she surely didn't want people talking about the reception running out of wine.

No she wanted glory through her son. It really had little to do with making sure the people had enough wine. She wanted to show off her Son.

Mary is not an intercessor.. She probably prayed for people during her life as all Christians should do..

Christians pray directly to the LORD indeed He knows our prayers even before we pray them.  :D

So reject the false doctrine of the catholic religion and embrace the truth of the LORD..

I disagree about Mary wanting to show off her son and her request had everything to do with the wine running out at the reception. if she wanted to show off her son, it seems to me she would have told the master of the banquet were and who made it.

Nay, Mary is does not make intercession for us. Jesus Christ the Lord who is One with the Father (John 10:30) and One with the Holy Spirit are our intercessor  and intermediary:

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the Son of Man Christ Jesus,” (1 Timothy 2:5)

”Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us,” (Romans 8:34)

I am writing this to you, my children, so that you will not sin; but if anyone does sin, we have someone who pleads with the Father on our behalf--Jesus Christ, the righteous one.” (1 John 2:1)

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.” (Romans 8:26-27)

Mary herself admitted she needed a Savior, “And Mary said,“My soul magnifies the Lord, 47     and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior48 for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant.“ (Luke 1:46-48).

What gain would it be to seek out the intercession of a mere human being (Mary) when you can have God The Trinity interceding for you? Only God can change your circumstances, why would someone plead to a person,  Mary, who can’t change things and who is mere mortal and without divinity?

Jeremiah 44:15-30 King James Version (KJV)

15 Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

16 As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the Lord, we will not hearken unto thee.

17 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

18 But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.
