Signs in the heavens, the earth, and the sea?

In the Olivets, the Lord describes signs in the heavens, the earth, and the seas occurring during the end of the current age (Luke 21:25).
Men's hearts will fail them due to their perceiving that the environment is only going to get worse (Luke 21:26).
To me these signs appear like what is currently transpiring in the environment due to global warming, which is picking up speed, and according to the majority consensus will become significantly more severe.
The alternative perspective among many religious organizations is that the signs will be supernatural in nature.
So here is the question: If the current distress of nations with perplexity is due to increase as the environment continues to deteriorate as the scientific consensus claims; how then will we know the difference between any supposed supernatural signs in the heavens, the earth, and the sea, from those the scientific consensus already recognizes will occur due to mankind's destruction of the environment?

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Which translation is this? Because thats not what my bibles say. That doesnt even fit what my bibles say.

Global warming is an overblown so-called scientific theory. It has all kinds of adherents who all want money to fix it. It is largely hyperbole by armchair scientists and those wanting to sell fix-it publications. It is irrelevant to God's designs when He tames and Kills Leviathan, one of the Chaos Monsters.

From the various descriptions in the scriptures, it is where heaven meets hell and humans and holy ones fight unholy denizens of the deep as they contend for God's Mountain (Eden).

Has nothing to do with the environment 'getting worse' and has everything to do with MAJOR WORLDLY  CATACLYSMS.

Hi Luigi,

I personally believe that the bible is talking about something that will be quickly apparent to everyone that it is a sign of God. It will be a cosmic upheaval that has nothing to do with man's polluting the environment.

If it were a single cosmic upheaval, why would people be so afraid of what they perceive is yet to get worse as stated in Luke 21:26?

There is no fixing the environment at the moment, until the conclusion of the two witnesses testimony, at which time the Lord will commence to destroy those who are destroying the earth (Revelation 11:18).

My understanding and thoughts are as follows: Since Noah's flood, we've always had earthquakes, tsunamis, solar flares, CME'S, volcanic activity, cyclic climate change, meteor strikes and disasters throughout history. Let's define the word perplexity first: Perplexity (G639), quandary, no way out, puzzled.

Luke 21:26 (KJV) Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

It appears to me all these celestial and geographic disasters will converge (a convergence) at one time and increase in frequency and intensity like never before (birth pangs). Historic records prove the earth goes through cyclic changes in temperature and drought. However; the coming changes will be like never before in frequency and intensity and can only be explained one way; in which secular man will refuse to believe and accept and wonder why they are all occurring at once? Other than natural celestial activity [solar flares, meteors, sun heating up, loss of ozone layer, earths magnetic field, etc.] could there be something supernatural coming on the earth? 

Man-made global warming is a lie and deception and we human beings can not do anything about it anyway. I firmly believe this global warming issue will be 'the' or 'a' mechanism for global control for many reasons to lengthy to delve into.

How will we know??? We're already seeing the signs and precursors picking up speed; a return of once thought eradicated diseases and new ones with no cure, antibiotics becoming ineffective, massive fish, mammal  and wildlife die offs, etc. NOAA earthquake records proving earthquakes / volcanic activity significantly increasing in frequency and intensity in the last century. Our oceans have become extremely polluted with many 'dead zones' that will not support any aquatic life; fresh water polluted globally and dangerous even to bathe in much less consume. 

When everything prophetic comes together in earnest all at once; there will be no doubt whom is bringing it, except for those whom refuse to believe and repent.

I didn't say it would be a single event, I don't know how long these cosmic changes would last, but I believe the people who are so afraid are the unbelievers.  They won't be able to understand the signs and wonders that they see. Those of us who believe in Jesus have nothing to fear.

Except there is no Global Warming. That's why they had to change the name to "climate change". 

Seriously, the planet is NOT heating up. It is within it's normal cycles. 

To be clear, it is all about control. If you can convince the people that CO2 is a dangerous greenhouse gas, you can get them to allow you to control all activity that produces it. And pretty much ALL human activity produces it. And here is another fun factoid: We are currently at 400 PPM of CO2. 1000 PPM would be a LOT better. The greening of the planet would be very noticeable.
