Sometimes we fail to understand the thoughts and intents of the Lord's plans in spite of our own personal wishes. There has to be a reason for all things, but often there are myopic effects that result in a lack of clarity in our sight of fleshly comprehension. We are yet imperfected. When it comes down to it, Jesus is asking us to trust Him. I'm praying for you, brother. God bless and comfort you.

This is from a topic on the COVID-19 from a different thread in Controversial Issues, and I pray this also ministers to the need. It's a copy/paste. My response is on the tail end. Apparently I did not stumble across this meanderingly and also blind. I was drawn to this specifically for a purpose. The coronavirus is not all that much of a concern other than a major inconvenience. What you've written here speaks to something else all together, and it is substantially important at this point in time. Thank you.

Right. Idk why people dont think this is serious my mom works in a hospital where she reports people struggling to breathe.

Here it is 65 and older, supposed to stay inside.   In the Bay Area (Northern California), everyone is actually on lockdown!

I'm not sure why either. There are regions in the world that are overcome by this virus. God gave us specifics 

about what we should eat--bats was not listed as food. When we don't listen to God, there are consequences.

The last thing we need to do is ignore facts because Christians are meant to be light in the darkness. Instead,

we should follow Franklin Graham of Samaritan's Purse. He just sent a medical team into Northern Italy

where the hospitals are overwhelmed because there are not enough respirators--or even oxygen outlets.

They do not have a bad hospital system--just too many patients for the number of needed beds. Goodness,

we have situations like that in Florida every year--people waiting in the ER for beds. If people don't start

to take this virus seriously, we'll have people in the hallways of OUR hospitals who cannot breathe. 

 

I really think Jesus would like Christians to be leaders in knowing the truth so that we can be the light.

The problem is getting food.   I am about out of food and planned to go to the market later today.  I have a 90 year old, diabetic mother that needs food...plus myself. 

 

Our mayor has also ordered restaurants to close starting now.....except for take out and delivery orders!

New Zealand, where i live, has just banned all visitors from entering the country, with the exception of New Zealand resident and citizens.

we live in scary times.....

another round of hard facts , followed by another round of why we ought not fear .   

Its true its way harder on even the youths than we were first told .

Even the ones who do survive the harsher side of it ,    their lungs are being scarred .     Scarred .     that has to be one nasty virus to scar those lungs .

Its shutting down the economies of the world more and more .   And its spreading .    

But from this i am noticing something else .   And while it is few ,   at least its happening .  folks are getting worried .   Deep down in some places folks are seeing that in truth man cannot save them .

They doing all they can in Italy and other places and the death counts and case counts IN MOST are only rising .

From this it seems a few ,  are starting to be led in a right direction .    visitors on christain sites are INCREASING , at least on some sites .

Folks are looking for answers and any kind of hope .    BUT WE GOT a massive enemy at work as well .  And he is giving and will offer a false hope .   WE HAVE TO SHOW THEM OUR HOPE 

because in truth OUR HOPE IS THE ONLY HOPE for anyone .    Since i was not there , i will have to take some recorded advice as truth .

When bubonic plague ripped the world ,   folks were terrified .    They were so afraid that even if family memebers got sick , they put them outside of the house to DIE .

That seems so sad .  but anyway .    it was told that very few , but some true christians would take care of some of even the abandoned ones at their own risk .

Knowing no matter what , they had all hope that whether they live or die , they had CHRIST .

We have to more than ever , point ONLY TO JESUS and to remind all of HIS teachings , the gosple , of all the teachings of the apostels too .  

Lambs have all hope , HIS NAME IS JESUS .   And another hard fact is ,   so long as we are in this world ,  let us understand times will get only worse and more deceptive .

But lambs through all ages have had hard times to go through .    We will be no exception to that .   in fact the longer we remain in this world ,  even persectutions against us will increase .

The lambs shall not live by bread alone , but by every Word of our LORD and by the power of HIS MIGHT by the SPIRIT they shall spread the hope they have and exhort with all HIS teachings and the apostels reminders too .

You and all of us, will be in Heaven with Jesus before we know it. I can hear your frustration of still being in pain and suffering down here on Earth, instead of being at peace in Heaven. I feel a lot for you because a lot of what you explain and how you feel reminds me of my mother before she went Home.

But Home she finally is. And you will be too brother. We all will be for those that believe in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

Its not your time yet to be called Home, otherwise you’d be there now. But with the short time we all have left, Jesus is with you, right by your side. He’s got you and He isn’t going to let you fall. The Lord walks us all Home, and all we have to do is follow Him and He will keep us safe. See you up there!
