I see that now.

What ways can i commit myself to God? ( besides reading, praying ect)

Learn from your mistakes. We all make them. Maybe this will help:

But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it upon their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jer 31:33 RSV

Now sister devote yourself in seeking God everyday. Devote yourself to prayer many times per day. Read and study the word in faith. Trusting God will open the word to you by the holy spirit. Remember God call us to a holy life and paid for this by Jesus hanging on the cross and jesus sufferd greatly. Look to him daily and expect him to be there. He said I will never leave you. He is not speaken falsely.  Be holy for I am holy. God is holy and cannot be seen because his light would destroy us. He sends the holy spirit to us to live in us. We are the temple of God. No greater love then someone lays his life down for us. Jesus became sin for us so we can become the righteousness of God. It is his righteousness that we have. We can go onto heaven only cloth in Jesus righteousness.  And its given to us through faith when we believe in him. So look to him everyday. I am very glad you left that relationship because it was unclean. Paul wrote touch not the unclean and I will be a Father to you. God instead of judging us in our sin will instead pour out blessings as a Father does to his children who love him. So keep walking with Jesus our savior.

Repent from any sin you've committed in connection with this relationship.  Give God what is leftover, all that is broken, and move on with him.

It's really very simple. He's full of mercy and kindness - all he requires is a contrite heart. We're all worthless in our own righteousness.

What do you expect to think or feel after confessing with repentance?

My sympathies for the break up, but you made the right call. We commit to God internally by reading the Bible, prayer, and trying to keep His commandments. Externally we commit to God through actions that extend beyond ourselves and into the world, like sharing God's message with others, supporting the Church (in the sense of believers as a whole, not necessarily a local church building. This support can involve a lot of different things!), and demonstrating Godly love to the rest of humanity. You seem to have a good grasp of what to do with the internal parts, you just need to do them.

Bear in mind that you have a very young child to take care of. The circumstances of their birth might not have been ideal but they're a very important part of your tests and trials now. God knows your circumstances. He's fair and just so He doesn't expect you to change the world. Just do your best with raising that child and see to it that they're provided for and get a good spiritual upbringing. Other than that, I don't know what your church involvement is like. But if you're not involved with a church I feel like it might benefit you to try to figure out some things you can do on the external end, maybe after things blow over on the pandemic front.

1. Give God your life 100%.

2. Trust and have faith in God.

3. Focus on God and not on the world and what it has to offer.

4. Make sure that everything you have and everything you do glorifies God.

If you feel this makes it stronger to do it aloud then by all means do it. I often pray aloud.  Keeps me more focused on what I am saying/ what I want to say.

This is such a succinct answer. Thank You.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
