Tim, I believe they will be raised from the grave and because they rejected the Messiah they will not be given HIS "Spirit" the one that Adam lost in the Garden..... now, this "living body" (raised from the grave), can never become a "living soul"and once again be with the LORD.

Just my thoughts, Charlie

Shalom, Charlie.

Sorry, Adam didn't lose "God's Spirit" in the Garden. You won't find that anywhere within the text of Scripture.

To continue with what I consider 'wrong headed futurism' we should take a look at those 'definite' prophesy pundits that got it absolutely wrong. Why? Because they may still be peddling stuff that people follow blindly. They still may be selling books or TV time for a healthy chunk of change.

The scripture to me is clear: If a prophesy fails, then the prophet is a fake!!

There is a difference between a born again Christian making mistakes and misunderstanding some things (we all do) and the deliberate deception of Romanism, which subverts the gospel and teaches a false way of salvation.  Born again Christians do not do this.

I was Just saying.  Wasn't at all trying to diminish the seriousness of the dangers of Catholicism...just pointing to the root cause.  We're not wrestling with flesh & blood but with powers and principalities that work through the flesh.

Paul said to the born again believing church that after he departed wolves would come in, not sparing the flock (he was the one restraining them at the time).   And it still goes on, to one degree or another, making merchandise of the lambs, wolves feeding their flesh (ambition, power, prestige, or money) but the people love to have it so.  That is the antichrist spirit that we all need to overcome in ourselves and grow out of.......in our flesh, whether we are a wolf exploiting the flock to whatever degree, or a lamb who loves to have a flesh&blood "king" in the place of our invisible Head....until the wolf and the lamb are both at rest in the Lord.

Yes you will!!!! I just wrote it in the margins yesterday! I understand, and I am sure you agree, not everything is spelled out in the Bible but I have provided my thoughts on why I believe this was not just air..... Adam certainly lost his immortality and the ability to be in HIS presence .... this is what it is all about.... restoration..... to get back the gift God gave us ......

I also read your comment that, "Adam had the possibility for immortality"..... where is that in the Bible.... it is not..... it is simply your interpretation. .... which you are entitled to make based on how you read the Scriptures....  Adam already had immortality because he did lose it.... he did not lose the possibility of it....

If he did not sin he would still be there.......

We can disagree ...... its all good.... Charlie

Thanks Alive for the efforts you put in.

I want to revisit the 'fake futurism' that began my quest before the break.

It is very very important that unrepentant fake-prophets be noted and held accountable. Especially in eschatology where so many people seem to be focused.

This is not a small matter and can be the ruin of believers that might feel dismay when the reality sets in that 'my fav teacher' was proved to be in error.

I hope it sends us scurrying for our dusty bibles and gets us to study well and think coherently.

@Josheb said previously: "The problem is they haven't gotten one prediction correct in 200 years."

So why are they still in their various 'offices'??

Who are the false prophets??

You mean like the 1988 [88 Reasons God comes back in 1988]? Or possibly at the turn of 1999 to 2,000 [Y2K = Crash and end of Earth and return of God]? or, there are so many it is fascinating to think God said (while in human form) No Man knows the day/time/hour.   And we still have men being definitive about the specifics to His Return.   Oral Roberts I need 7 Million dollars or God is going to kill me.   I loved that man and still do.   It wasn't his [Healing Ministry] but he was a very good {speaker} (as was Jim Jones).   But yes, the list is long here of some fascinating stances men of God have made that crashed and burned like a paper airplane gliding into a camp fire.

When you began this Topic of Futurism, it started off with the RCC creating myths.   Is this [WHOM] You and Josheb are speaking specifically about concerning, "The problem is they haven't gotten one prediction correct in 200 years?"

Thanks. Keep the thoughts flowing and perhaps we can help the newbies all over the world that might be taken in by these slick salesmen.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
