Besides the obvious; fast mass transit; traffic jams; our knowledge doubling every couple of weeks; computers; artificial intelligence (AI), etc. I believe this verse is speaking about our day, the book of Daniel has been unsealed. This world has turned crazy and upside down, calling good evil, and evil good, on and on... How many people have we talked to, that have said or thought, "what in the world is going on. Things are not right, something is happening?" Many are turning, and many more will turn to the Bible, flipping chapters and pages in Isiah, Daniel, Revelation, etc. searching for answers. And their biblical and prophetic knowledge shall be increased, and they will understand. 

Closely associated with my train of thought with predictions, are the "Ten Kings." We are now seeing the who, what and where of prophetic scripture aligning and taking shape. Dozens of examples could be cited, but for brevity, I'll just cite one. I'll omit the histories of Iran and Turkey being friends and allies of Israel. The Shaw of Iran coming to the aid of Israel in the 1967 Israeli war. Israeli's taking their vacations in Turkey. Saudi Arabia a staunch enemy of Israel, and how in a short historical period things have reversed. Just like the word of God says for the end-times.

We plainly see the formation, alignment, geography and players for the coming Ezekiel 38: - 39: invasion of Israel [Gog-Magog]. The mutual defense treaties are almost there [save Libya civil war, but Russia is involved there]. We see Russia's "hook in the jaw." Israel's prosperity, wealth, technology, intelligence, advanced irrigation, desalination; and now the biggie. The Goliath natural gas and oil fields; the pipeline to Greece and selling to Europe. Russia had great influence in political decisions of European countries, or they would cutoff the heating fuel, not anymore. Russia's major export and economic engine is fossil fuel.

We see all the other nations invading Israel are Muslim nations that hate Israel, and their motivation and economy falling apart.

That was the long way to get to the "Ten Kings." Who or what could the Ten Kings be? The most popular historical thought has been, the leaders of ten European nations. Still very well could be, and I don't discount it. A second view is; ten global economic trading zones. The United Nations has divided the globe into ten economic trading zones. Naturally, there would have to be a leader [or king], over each of them. These Ten Kings arrive on the scene sometime prior to the introduction of the Antichrist. Again it is obvious, these Ten Kings have control of something the Antichrist desperately needs control of. 

What about a third possibility I personally see shaping up? How many rich liberal billionaires own all of the leading liberal news media [CNN; MSNBC; ABC; NBC; Yahoo; Google; on and on]? How many wealthy people own all the popular social media sites; to include YouTube, Facebook, Twitter. These big conglomerates and empires are constantly consolidating and merging. What about a United Nations agenda that is enacted, with a global 15% environmental emissions tax on corporations to support it [could support a military also]; with a minister [king] over each of them: Global voice and internet communications; transportation, land, sea, air travel; banking; global trade; the environment; technology; to name some examples. Does that seem preposterous, given what we are seeing today. In addition to the UN. Agenda 2021, Agenda 2030 and all the other outrageous agendas the UN has in your face openly published, for your viewing pleasure on their websites. 

It could also be some sort of combination of all the above. We are now seeing monitoring of what we can say and do, with penalties going against the status quo. We are seeing the wealthy and powerful people and governments behind them and financing it. The enforcement of the politically correct is coming via private corporations, at their financial detriment and profit. Why? They are pushing their agenda against the will of the majority. How does such a small minority control the majority?

As an aside; I just received a new change in Amazons terms of service and privacy policy in my email. Any of you get it and read it? It reeks of a New World Order and no privacy expectations. I encourage you to read it. Ah, I was going to post the link, but evidently deleted it, as I can't do anything about it anyway.

No debate here, the Lord is going to preserve, feed, protect and shelter a remnant of 1/3 of Israel. Israel is a mixed bag of blood lines today, I suspect it will be his chosen people, and not Israeli gentiles he protects. But my topic wasn't pertaining to the nation of Israel, but my nation America. 

In my opinion, America is totally absent and not mentioned in end-time prophecy. Unless Tarshish is England, rather than Spain or elsewhere. Then one could make an argument that the young lions and eagles wings potentially might represent America, but I doubt it. 

The United States, the current globes superpower, is mysteriously missing. Either America has been destroyed, is inconsequential, a bystander like Saudi Arabia; or best case scenario, the Rapture has occurred, and we're in disarray?  

Technology and interconnection is assumed, and plastered everywhere in scripture during the Tribulation. Everything from "man" using technology to manufacture the image of the Beast; to controlling all global buying and selling, That's where I think the present system will survive. 

In fact, have you ever thought of the arrogance, the gall, the stupidity, the hubris; of the earth dwellers and Satan's forces gathering to make war against their creator at the Lord's second coming? What could they possibly be thinking?

I suspect the search to know everything, via artificial intelligence; LHC search for the God particle; combined with modern advanced technology and weaponry of this yet future time; along with the powerful evil supernatural fallen beings. I think they will believe they are a match to defeat our Lord and Savior. 

It is said, that today our knowledge is doubling every couple of weeks. What will our knowledge and advancements be even one or two years from now?

I feel like this should be the way I handle it in the first place, But so many people don't. In the old Soviet Union when the Ruble was worthless and all supply chains were corrupted, many locals developed their own small economies based on a barter system. There are also many people who today live disconnected from the grid. Agricultural areas have an added advantage that they can grow their own food.

If God wanted to make a way for us He would make a way. If we stay plugged in we are all just talking about fighting evil while we use the very same tools the other side uses. To be fair and as you know technology isn't inherently 'evil'. Up until now the tech I use make things work a little more efficiently. If I ever felt the Lord convicting me to 'unplug' I would do it and trust Him to the outcome. The Bible says no man has lost family or belongings that He won't replace many fold in His kingdom. If my ability to live in my home and obtain food ever depends on me accepting something I know is evil and contrary to the Lord's teaching, I will do what I have to do and trust God for the outcome. If things get to that point later on in this world, resistance won't get you anywhere regardless. Oh it might buy you a few months or even a year eating freeze dried rations. You might not be on your property. None of that looks like a long term solution. The long term solution is the Lord's return for us. I'm not implying we don't use our common sense for self preservation. I think when the time comes ( if it comes in our lifetime) we will know what to do or where to go.

Perhaps I should have clarified my thoughts better. My thoughts and opinions are directed at how I see things evolving, and what the Bible says it will be like in the last days. What those that miss the Rapture will be facing. That no one will be able to escape the system [save the 1/3 remnant of God's chosen people]. That most likely, those that convert and accept Christ, will be martyred for their faith and confession. 

It's going to get worse, much worse. Even right now, tell me there is a way to survive on your own, and provide for your family and loved ones. Ditch all your smart electronics, telephone, communication devices, your social security number, your identity and financial information stored everywhere, disconnect yourself from the grid right now. Go into seclusion, where and how would you go right now? 

Shelter in place: Try filing your income taxes; paying your property taxes; getting or maintaining a bank account; receive a paycheck; get healthcare; a dental appointment; buy a vehicle even with cash; obtain health insurance; on and on. Without your electronic identity and SSAN. 

Who are you and where can you go without your electronic identity these days? Soon we will be a cashless society, everything electronic. Shortly and most likely, we will need [present your papers please comrade] identification to enter a government building, a sports event, a restaurant, social or entertainment event, get on a bus, plane or train, cross state lines, probably even leaving our own dwellings eventually, etc.  Lately there has been a number of things I have had to verify and sign electronically, no physical paper or physical signatures involved. Just trying to offset all of these facts with the view that God is in control. I do this to remind myself that we are the victors here and the devil is the one scurrying around last minute trying to make things happen. The real battle was won back on that old rugged cross. Jesus our king and victor over sin, death and the devil. We can never repay Him of praise Him enough. This life is only the beginning to the next life with Christ.

Probably the main sticking point I have with the rapture as taught in most protestant seminaries is that I don't think the Lord returns for us until the VERY end. I believe we remain throughout whatever comes before that. Very possibly preserved by the hand of God or set apart for martyrdom. The Bible says no man knows the day or the hour of the Lord's return. This does not mean we won't know when it's generally close. I won't attempt any guesses here.  I will say I feel we are headed into that last hoorah of evil before the Lord steps in and deals with it. We are told in the end times evil men will wax worse and worse.  That certainly is happening with large groups turning race against race attempting to rewrite our constitution almost daily.

We probably looked around in many of the same places to get our info as to how all of these things, particularly technology, are converging to establish absolute control the citizenry of the entire earth. All of it has to do with being plugged in to the matrix and consolidation. Consolidation means all control comes from one source. It's happening in agriculture with large corporations buying up all the farms and using GMO to assure seeds need to be bought from them, grocery retailers are monopolizing, everything is being moved into larger more centralized control. In my state the large state colleges are merging control. Keeping the old names but centralizing control. On the tech side of things, the whole thing is one large automated tracking spy ring. If my predictions are true, eventually people will be getting tech implants or some infants will be implanted at birth. You probably CAN'T unplug from an implant. Once you have it it becomes a part of you. The whole government funded rollout of new wifi tech like 5g-6g are all designed to put the web into as many places as it can be. Laptops and tablets are given away for free to kids in 3rd world countries.

The battle will be very impersonal since there are now drones and robots capable of the dirty work. Transhuman is not human. Any thing meddled with in our DNA is less than human.

The government had contractors build holding centers a long time ago. They just sit there waiting for what?  

One interesting development is that an Israeli company has developed a software program that can get into any smart phone, even the ones with protection. I am so glad it is Israel that has it.Hopefully they will be wise in how they sell and use it.

Yes I agree it is here. Still in it's infancy but it's here. May God grant us the wisdom to know how to deal with each coming hurdle that would threaten our safety and ability to make decisions.
