The short answer is yes they are covered. Otherwise you get into a works based salvation.

The longer answer does not change that, but gets into the realm of each ones personal walk of sanctification.

Perhaps when I wake up, the Lord will allow me to expound on that.

It deeply saddens me to continue to see people fear the inner workings of a relationship.  I am sure I will get a whole lot of slack for this, but a relationship requires two or more people "working together".  There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing His work, appointed for us before we were saved, to fulfill His will in our lives.  Yes, being in a relationship requires work, but not the work those who are afraid of the word portray.  This work does not "save us".  That is completed at the cross through the work of Christ.  The work within a relationship can be called obedience for those who quiver at the word "works".

To answer the question Dennis1209 asked, if we all are honest, we all have to admit that we do not know what happens to those who die in willful sin.  By "faith" we claim forgiveness due to how we were taught scripture while others are not sold on the idea that our unrepentant sins are automatically forgiven even if we don't ask to be forgiven.  And the debate continues ...

I believe that from God's point of view, there is no broken or improper fellowship--because we are 'In Christ' and when He sees us (typically and in reality), He sees the perfect Lamb of God and the completed work of atonement.

When we who are 'born again' sin, because of our weakness and lack of faith, our conscience condemns us and we have a 'sense' of improper fellowship (your meaning)--so we confess our sin and we find that Grace and solace that heals our soul. This is also His Grace and Mercy to His children as we grow up.

The reality, from God's perspective is that we were already forgiven and never fell from that place on the Mercy Seat between the two cherubim. This is where He meets us.

I woke up the other day thinking about the mercy seat and it came to mind again.

Ex. 25:17   “You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits shall be its length and a cubit and a half its width. 18 And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work you shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat. 19 Make one cherub at one end, and the other cherub at the other end; you shall make the cherubim at the two ends of it of one piece with the mercy seat. 20 And the cherubim shall stretch out their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and they shall face one another; the faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat. 21 You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you. 22 And there I will meet with you,

This is where the Lord meets us. Where the 'blood' was sprinkled and atonement is made. Its interesting what Mary Magdalene saw when she looked into the tomb where Christ lay.

John 20:11   But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. 12 And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

To me this hearkens back to the Mercy Seat and the two cherubim.

He became the atonement and propitiation for our sins and a once for all high priest to boot. A once for all propitiation and there is now no longer a need for a priest to continually sprinkle the blood between the angels.

Rom. 3:21   But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Amen , God know who are really His and those in name only,if we're His we will never lose Salvation because Jesus finished His Work on the cross and we can't add more to it by doing good works ,why would a person who really  loves the Lord wants to sin on purpuse but since we're all still in the flesh we will sin and thank God He gave us His Son to be our mediator.

Not knowing if you might sin when you die is basicially living in fear,God doesn't wants us to fear but to trust Him that He will bring us home..

I knew a Christians singer who loved the Lord but ended his life because of depression,I'm sure He's with the Lord because of his depression he couldn't think straight..

My wife and I have been listening to scripture pursuant to the Bible Club that Omegaman set up and we got to talking about the Mercy Seat and that reality of the picture being the two angels sitting at the head and foot where Christ lay, with his shed blood between them.

I imagined Mary looking at that scene and wondering if she realized this and how remarkable a moment that was.

Our God is so amazing and leaves out no detail in honoring His Word and the Words of His servants the prophets.

Just amazing!

I lived in that mindset all those years while I was in the Roman catholic church.

We had to insure our eternal destiny by confession to a man, the robed priest, our sins.

It was a constant fear of death at an inopportune moment. The toss of a coin.

The truth set me free.

While reading a post of Jade’s regarding the scapegoat, I was once again reminded of the Mercy Seat and Mary’s experience at the tomb. In fact I was thinking about it a few days ago. A wonderful picture of the effectual atonement of Christ and His shed Blood. The Old Rugged Croos.

And yet, our Lord is the Great Shepherd and we have many promises of His keeping in scripture.

So we learn to trust Him who is able to keep us….

Every son of God will learn as we walk in Him, one way or another that we are weak. That we have this treasure in earthen vessels and the power is His. He will see to it one way or another and many times until we give up and find His rest. “Lord, I know now, I can do no thing without you”.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
