I recall several times in my life getting an injury, an illness, a military deployment, some accident, mechanical breakage, or mishap and saying, “well, it could have been much worse.” I was thankful that it was not as bad as it could have easily been.

The above came to mind as I looked around at geopolitical events and the loss of freedoms and rights in many Western nations and globally. I am not trying to scaremonger because these things must come to pass, leading up to the Tribulation and one-world government. Everything is escalating downhill faster than anyone can analyze or predict today. The exception is our Lord, who knows the beginning from the end.

The laundry list of what our Bible predicts for the end-time generation is so long it would take a book to mention most of them that are now coming to fruition. For example, I’d like to stick only to dangerous times, and wars and rumors of wars.

The apostle Paul said: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (2 Timothy 3:1).

Jesus said: And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (Matthew 24:6)

Admittedly, there have always been wars and rumors of wars historically. What is the attention-grabber distinction of what Jesus and Paul stated above? I submit global wars and conflicts, and plenty of them.

Much could be discussed and commented upon with WW I & WW II; the relationship with the valley of dry bones coming to life, the Holocaust implications, and Israel becoming a nation again in one day, May 14, 1948.

The invasion of Ukraine aside, which I believe to be supplementary to the forthcoming Gog-Magog invasion of Israel.

I am omitting all the embarrassing debacles of Benghazi, Afghanistan, and many other failed actions and inactions of recent democratic administrations. America has become insignificant, untrustworthy to its commitments, promises, and international obligations. It has abandoned and deserted military members and American citizens to fend for their lives in hostile environments. In my opinion, this is the worst president and antisemitic administration in United States history.

Because of these weak and inept administrations blunders, enemies of America have become emboldened and poised to take advantage of the situation. I believe China will invade Taiwan anytime now. North Korea may try to take back the South and menace the world. Pacification has never worked in the history of the world. Iran will attempt to make good on its constant threats toward big and little Satan. Terrorism will be revitalized, to name a few.

Civil war and rebellion may be on the horizon for the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other nations because of despot governments and dictators? At any additional time in history, has there ever been such perilous global times, wars and rumors of wars, division of nations, and loss of national sovereignty? Their goal is to be enacted; global citizenship.

I wonder how much the Lord will allow us to witness before He calls us home?

Good question. How much will we see before the rapture of the Church? God knows and His timing is perfect.

Yeah, it makes me wonder why Jesus would tell them to watch and pray as He unfolded all that would happen if they would not be here to witness it?

Semantics. I pretty much agree with your thoughts, with little disagreement with the content, other than maybe the timing of events.

If I didn't make it clear, the Lord alone is going fight and destroy Gog-Magog for his glory. Apparently, Israel will not even mount a defense. The whole world will know it was the God of Israel that did it. He is not doing it for Israel, but for His glory and keeping His covenant.

I suspect the name or title "Gog", is something like a leader, president, or king, it could also be a demonic name or title? Right now, I have thoughts of Putin?

Five-sixths of this invasion force against Israel will be destroyed. The way I read scripture, each nation that participated with Magog, their homelands will also be severely punished. I have an interest in who these faraway isles could be?

Time to get ready for Sunday School and church. Later.

I agree with you there,I don't know if it will be Putin who will gather his troops against Israel  but we know it  will be Russia

Yup...this is just one of the keys I have adopted for more consideration and a discarding of many assumptions.

Why do you think they're not here and don't watch it?

The Pre-Trib believers will tell you that they will not be around to see the times of the tribulation.  I am not of that camp.

I lean toward thinking we are hede as we are now, until Christ returns for fhat Last Day, when all things change and final judgement occurs. I may be wrong. No seperate rapture.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
