Revelation 22:18 (KJV)

[18] For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

[19] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

[20] He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

This is not about prophecy or denying God's creation.

This is about how to actually comprehend Genesis message via written words of Moses's socalled 1st day -6th day.

What i would like to say is the earth and the water was already created in Genesis 1:1 before the socalled 1st day. But it was not yet perfect earth but covered with water so its called formless and void and the spirit of God hovering over that water.

So at the 1st day the earth was already spinning when God created the light of the stars, thus created morning and evening.

On the 3rd day God didnt create the earth but simply separated the water and the land.

Col. 1:16-17

[16] For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
[17] And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

I know some things seem difficult to piece together but one thing is certain and that is the reasoning , logic and intellect of a finite mind will never fully comprehend the Infinite, the Eternal things of Almighty God.Only through Revelation by the Power of Holy Spirit Can we Receive Knowledge & Understanding.

The Word of God Gives us exactly how much information we NEED to know, no more, no less- perhaps we might get lost in too much information that would most likely distract us from the main purpose of each story we hear

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, what is the importance of our Faith... How important is it to know how God Made ALL things or is it important to know that He Did, see my point?

If you want a better Understanding you will have to ask God the questions you have.... If it is for your good He May Shine some light on the subject....if not, well

With love in Christ, Kwik

Also. May I suggest you stop saying "Moses said" and then misquote Scripture.... Gods Word does not Say God created the earth on the 3rd day but that he called the dry land" earth"

It would be good to quote the actual verse of Scripture before you discuss your discrepancies

Just trying to be helpful

Imho the hot liquid lava core of this earth shows what the earth was in the beginning.

Sorry but no. The core just shows us what it is and not what it is not or what it was not.

Check out the documentary: "Ring of fire". The earth is a massive and well engineered machine that renews itself continually. It is a machine that is superior in every way. It demostrates Gods Great Creative Genius.

Said another way, this would be the young Earth vs. old Earth theory and Gap theory. I have extensively studied this subject and have concluded that I do not know. Many topics in the Bible do not go into detail on questions I am puzzled over. Perhaps it is like what Daniel was told, you do not understand, and it is not for you to know until the time.

The Bible does not detail the cosmos (second heaven), most likely because it does not fit the Bible’s theme of redemption and man’s need for a Savior.

The Earth was created (or refashioned) especially to support life with complex biological systems and protections. This planet is special, and no other world can likely support human life in the universe. No dark matter and dark energy are holding the universe together; the Lord holds everything in order together.

As with many people, I like to study all sides of theological issues before forming a belief or opinion, and this is a tuff one. In the end, I asked myself, does it make any difference or affect me or my views?

The best-explained book I have read on the subject was written by G.H. Pember, titled Earth’s Earliest Ages. Studying his hermeneutics and explanations on my own, I found it difficult to disagree with his opinions. In my opinion, this book is required reading to compare and study alongside the traditional Christian view.

I had also asked the question of when water was created in the creation account. We are given the order of when everything else was made, but not the ingredient of what sustains all life.

Translational errors and interpretations aside, it is interesting to note the things created ex nihilo (spoken into existence) and the things created out of the material mold.

Genesis 1:1 ...and the Spirit of God hovering over the water.

1. Where did the water came from before the creation ? There are not any verse regarding the creation of water.

God suddenly divide the water without any hint as to when did He create it. Its in Genesis 1:And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.”

2. And in the 1st day God said let there be light that made morning and evening. How can there be morning and evening before the creation of the earth ?

Genesis 1And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

3. Further how could God create the sky to separate the water at the above and below the vault/sky on the 2nd day before the creation of the earth on the 3rd day ?

Genesis 1 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

Did Moses write it wrong ? No way.

Imho Genesis 1:1 actually explains that God already created the earth and the water before the socalled 1st day by Moses. But the earth was not yet ready as it was all covered by water. Formless and void as Moses wrote it. Thats why the Spirit of God was hovering over the water.

So at the 1st day the earth was already spinning when God created the light of the stars, spinning created morning and evening

And therefore God did not create the earth on the 3rd day as churches believe but simply separate the water  from the land.

Amen, Good post, interesting

This is outside of the grammar that is written… God warns us of our imaginations
2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV) [5] Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
In The Beginning
7225. רֵאשִׁית rḗšı̂yth, ray-sheeth';
From the same as 7218; the first, in place, time, order or rank (specifically a firstfruit).
:--beginning, chief (-est), first (-fruits, part, time), principal thing.
does not permit the idea of another creation..

John 1:1 (NAS20S)    In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.

We have a clear account of this in Genesis. What need is there to parse or try to take apart what is not stated.

I get that it may be interesting, in a sense, for some--Lord knows, I have done the same on some points--but I fail to see what benefit there is in this particular discussion.

Maybe its just me.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
