Why ?

Hello, Hartono …

Once upon a time, the world was beautiful.  Then Satan rebelled.  But Jesus is coming back.  And the world will be beautiful once again. :)

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

- 2 Peter 3:5-7,10,13 (KJV)

Why ?

When I look at everything as a whole, it appears to me that he's making us a safe and healthy place.    He's letting Satan run this world for a while to see who among us can exist happily and secure in that safe and healthy place.   Short time existence in this wild crazy place to see how we would fit into his heavenly home for us.

Why do I think so???    Genesis 1:1 -- Revelation 22:21, 75 years of daily personal experience with the Holy Spirit, along with usage of the bit of common sense my maker blessed me with...

This world needs peace right now, why wait until new heaven comes.

God is not waiting.

God has already in His  righteous wrath condemned this world.

Yet God is actively saving out from this condemned creation many to be with Him for eternity forward, for His mercy is from everlasting to everlasting to those foreknown and predestined to be with Him of whom Yeshua loses not a one.

A place is being prepared by Yeshua for those God has foreknown and predestined to be with Him. When God the Father sees it to be readied He will tell His son Yeshua to come get all that he is saving to be with Him eternally.

The demons know of this and dread the coming of the time.

What is God waiting on?  Jesus Christ tells us directly in Matthew 24:14.  God is waiting until ALL people groups have heard the gospel.

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come."

R. Hartono, YOU may be impatient and so may MANY Christians, but Peter tells us in his second letter that GOD is patient and is not slow like we think of slowness.  That God is patient - not wanting any to perish.

There are many organizations of various Christian denominations that work in reaching the unreached.

Here's just one example.  A missionary couple in Columbia are working with an unreached group that speaks VERY little Spanish, just their own language with no alphabet.  Imagine not speaking a person's language - a people group who don't even know who Adam and Eve were - and trying to evangelize them.

They help them find ways of sustaining themselves and making money to increase their standard of living and they are working on creating a written language for these people.

‘Daunting task, but I’ll persevere’ says missionary to Colombia - IMB

God is patient and earnestly desiring these people to understand and come to know Christ.

If God can wait - I think we can wait.

You changed the question.   The wait is to let this all play out as an example of what happens when Satan has his way. This way all of creation will rejoice when the Lord returns unless they are part of Satan's world. And time given for all to make that decision.

In His multifarious wisdom, the answer to that will be on many levels I think, according to timing we can't yet see fully:

  1. Not wanting any to perish is one important thing.
  2. Another is that we too will go through a process, like Jesus did, learning obedience and to trust in our Father in all things.
  3. And also that the bad choice our great, great, great (great x 100) grandfather Adam made will be fully manifest showing it's full fruit.
  4. And that His wisdom will be known through us (the church) to the principalities and powers.
  5. And that His incredible love for us will be on full display as He rescues us from our folly.

And, and and . . . .

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
