Revelation 9:6, NIV: During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.

Unless I can find a better explanation, I tend to think they will have carried all of this very far.

We cannot imagine the power of only one angel, fallen or holy. In this age, the Restrainer is restraining evil until He is taken away.

If my Biblical exegesis is correct, demons are the lowest rung in the evil spiritual hierarchy and power. No doubt demons (evil-unclean spirits) possess people and animals; what about objects and things?

It seems some force is not permitting those being tortured to commit suicide. I dunt know?

 Consciousness uploads is something the transhumanists have been talking about actually doing, so if a person could theoretically do that where would they be? In the cloud? In a machine?

I've considered the ramifications of AI in the past and to be honest, I'm not troubled by it in the least. This has to do with my experience coding a "chatbot" for a collegiate lab assignment. 

AI only appears sinister to those who aren't familiar with object-oriented programming and the vast semantic database which countless programmers have worked on over the years. A robust semantic database --- and the proper code which enables a chatbot to seem human to an unwitting end user --- is the key to an AI application like the one our brother George has shared here.

The elementary chatbot I coded for my Data Structures professor was nothing more than an illusion of intelligence, my friends. I coded semantic routines, using a random number generator (a simple mathematical formula in code format), which enabled the chatbot to respond to a user in unpredictable ways. I structured a number of "snarky" replies and quips to fill it out, hence my appellation for that lab project: the SnarkBot 9000. 

If an end user typed, "Are you real or what?", one possible answer (of many) might be, "You don't know, do you? Are you real?"

AI coded to interact with end users have been given the illusion of intelligence by those who code the application. Alas, too many movies depict AI accomplishing what is impossible --- becoming "self aware" --- but that's the stuff of fantasy and nothing more. The fact that so many are shaken by AI applications means that the creator(s) did their job well.

I believe that this verse refers to the type of venom of an Egyptian scorpion. It will be a NEUROTOXIN! A venom that IMMOBILIZES its victim without killing the victim. They will still be aware of their surroundings, and their nerves will be on fire, but they will LIVE through it! They will WANT to die, but they won't be able to take their own lives or to ask others to do it for them! Others will find them and sustain their lives, putting them on life support (without their wishes), and they will survive for the 5 months until it wears off!

These locusts will be VERY REAL and won't be "demons!"

The AI is all smoke and mirrors.

Those who program the AI computer key in phrases that sound conversational to us - `Hope that has been helpful, etc.` 

However, the information in the body of the text is found on the web. Thus, it is just an illusion that it is `a person` speaking.
