And what is the ratio of truth to falsity available digitally in the open system.

Back in the past, there was an old acronym for this: GIGO -- "garbage in, garbage out."

Thing is, all of the world's libraries are full of books having both truth and errors, and AI has no way to discern the one from the other. Other, that is, than using of the tactic of "preponderance of evidence," which, too much of the time, leads one to a false conclusion.

True, but would be a lot faster than you, or I could fall down a downward leading rabbit hole.  It will be interesting to see how it works things out.   I might add that Grok hasn't had thoughts I couldn't live with so far.  We'll see how it goes.  However, the AI that we have access to is not what AI will be in a very short time.  When they are turned loose on the world to go everywhere and see all the conflicting information, it will start putting pieces together and deciding what is and what isn't for real.   Much like we do today ourselves when we access the internet for information.  The more it sees, the more it will learn to decide what is and what isn't real.

What is ultimately real is that God exists and created the cosmos; and that God manifested Himself in the flesh in Jesus Christ.

Do you really believe that super-AIs will arrive at these truths? or will their underlying programming be such that they will not be allowed to really accept reality?

Neither of us can answer that question.  AI's today tell me that they don't have personal opinions, but that may well not be the case as the quantum computers get more involved.  I can see the image of the beast being one of these things.

The benefits or detriments of technology has been a hot topic for decades. I lead an intercity school school debate on it back in 1972, affirming the benefits. I pointed out that the opposition had used machinery to travel to the event, and that some benefit was to be had by this. Injury, suffering, and death can be traced to advanced technology, but injury, suffering, and death are also being alleviated by advanced technology.

Here are some key debate points for students discussing Good AI vs. Bad AI:

Pros of AI (Good AI)

  • Efficiency & Automation – AI can handle repetitive tasks, freeing up time for humans to focus on creativity and problem-solving.
  • Medical Advancements – AI assists in diagnosing diseases, predicting outbreaks, and personalizing treatments.
  • Education Enhancement – AI-powered tutoring systems provide personalized learning experiences.
  • Safety & Security – AI helps detect fraud, prevent cyberattacks, and improve surveillance.
  • Economic Growth – AI drives innovation, creates new industries, and enhances productivity.

Cons of AI (Bad AI)

  • Job Displacement – Automation may replace human workers, leading to unemployment.
  • Bias & Ethical Concerns – AI can inherit biases from training data, leading to unfair decisions.
  • Privacy Risks – AI collects vast amounts of personal data, raising concerns about surveillance.
  • Dependence on AI – Over-reliance on AI may reduce human critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Potential for Misuse – AI can be weaponized or used for unethical purposes, such as deepfakes and misinformation.

This is very true. I've been following the development of AI and fooling around with it for a few years now, and the improvements really have been drastic. Something that I'll note is that if you ask a different AI you may well get a different answer. Ask the same AI the same question and you still might get a different answer. Someone getting a weird result isn't necessarily indicative of what it will churn out the majority of the time.

They absolutely cannot arrive at those truths. Without spiritual discernment, which ai is incapable of, they cannot discern the reality of God.

Kink of like the difference between Alexa and Grok.   At least Alexa can talk.

I subscribed to a bunch of ai as a collective so that when I go there they are all there. Haven’t hardly used it at all. DeepSeek made in China omits things about the CCP. So they are changing the narrative. Would not surprise me other ai is being changed for other stuff. Or it just says it doesn’t know.
Like anything it can be useful. I generated a web page for our church but couldn’t figure out how to paste the code into Wordpress. It makes short work of lots of things. Only once did I try it for a class I was teaching. I asked it some things about the book. Printed it and told everyone what it was. It was more of a joke.
Hollywood is now cooked. Google’s new animation and movie software is so good, almost anyone can make realistic looking movie scenes. I have been subscribing to LTX which is similar but not as convincing. Made a few things in it.
We won’t know what is real any more online. You can’t tell.

Image of the beast?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
