For the breath of the ruthless is like rain against a wall, 5 like heat in a dry land. You subdue the uproar of foreigners. As the shade of a cloud cools the heat, so the song of the ruthless is silenced.

  7. Such a good Study, there's so much to delve into deeply for Understanding for Application - I am a Living Testimony of the Law of Christ working -the Law of Christ's Body.... Loving God and Loving One Another Last week I cried out to my Heavenly Father Brother,Saying " Where are You,are You Not Listening anymore?" Brother,I tell you tye truth, those were my words- I cried and cried alone and in much pain and was hurt that God was Continually Allowing so much suffering in me ,around me and what hurts most( my animals)....I told Him,I Know He Does not MAKE anything bad happen in this dying ,decaying corrupt & fallen world but He Allows it- thst hurt more than anything Of course I know thst spirit of depression and sadness and grief was getting a foothold - but I am human,I pleaded for Jesus, tye Comforter- for HELP & none came Out of the blue( lol- yes ,not the blue but the ONE HEAD)a member from Worthy contacted me as our Lord Jesus Directed - Holy Spirit Moved him to do so and in obedience he walked by Faith) his carnal mind told him he's probably being too forward and will look very foolish) Ah- instantly he Received Confirnation as I replied- I've been asking God for Help, asking Him " Where are You" and MrM- there He Was ,thst very night when I prayed fervently in deep despair- He Sent a Member of His Body- only 5 minutes from my house.....If one suffers,we suffer with them ,IN OBEDIENCE we effectively do God's Will, the Purpose of our Calling... I do Hope I've conveyed the Message here well- Glory to God With love in Christ,Kwik

  14. I was not aware of this asteroid before, but what I read said it could pass close enough to the earth to actually hit some manmade satellites - that would get people's attention! And yes, something like that could certainly put "the fear" in men's hearts, as well as watching other things unfold. In a way, watching this world, for those of us that have some idea of reality, is a little like watching a slow train wreck . . . Let us be faithful to do the things we are exhorted to do, as we see that day approaching. (testifying & assembling together)

  15. In a New Testament context which properly does not involve being 'under the law' in an Old Testament sense, Paul to the Romans writes of 'obedience to the faith' and 'the obedience of faith' (1.5 and 16.26); we know that ultimately we rely upon the Lord Jesus' 'obedience unto death, even the death of the Cross' (Philippians 2.8).

  16. If I may, I would like to expand on your post: I have also mentioned this several times over the years. I believe that is rightly dividing the Word and proper exegesis. I am one of those, “some would say.” Not dogmatic, but given the plethora of other prophetic scripture, it sure does fit. Just as the Jews were expected to look for (watch) and know the 1st advent (season) of their Messiah’s arrival, with the information given in their Hebrew Bible in Daniel 9:24-27, they should have mathematically figured out the exact day of the Messiah’s arrival on Palm Sunday from when the command was given in Jerimiah. Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. We do not know the day or hour of the harpazo; the world will be unaware and taken by surprise. Can the same be said for Jesus’s 2nd coming because John clearly outlines the timing and sequence of events in Revelation? There are no signs or events that will precede the Rapture. So, we must ask, what has Jesus commanded His followers to watch for? Answer: The season and signs of the times. This generation alone is living and witnessing everything come about for the terminal generation, coming on like gangbusters, better said, like birth pains. We are witnessing it all, how wicked and depraved the world will become, global antisemitism and hatred of Israel and the Jews escalating at a pace not seen since Nazi Germany (WW II, the holocaust, and the dry bones are in the Bible, Ezekiel 37), and so much more. The reasons why Damascus, Syria, will forever cease to be a city being completely leveled overnight by the children of Israel (IDF, most likely) are now clearly seen. The destruction of Elam (1/6 of S.W. modern-day Iran), where most of Iran’s nuclear facilities and enrichment plants around Bushehr are located, Jeremiah 49. The alignment, cooperation, and mutual defense treaties between the belligerents listed in the Gog-Magog invasion never before seen, Ezekiel 38. The list continues to follow prophetic scripture to a tee (connecting one another). Who can deny all these things are not beginning to happen? Globalist plans for a one-world and global cashless system are scheduled by or before 2030, only six years from now. With the forewarning of the asteroid Apophis headed our way, it is becoming more interesting. Is it possible this asteroid and its satellites are a part of: Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. I think living in interesting prophetic times is an understatement.

  17. I do believe you are right. But its refreshing to see somebody passionate about what they've seen. I was a passenger from London once and was seated in economy behind three orthodox Jews. They were discussing in Yiddish so I don't know what the subject was, but it got louder and louder with hands flying. The crew and nearby passengers all looked perturbed as it looked like a fistfight was imminent. Then came the meal. The three joined hands, prayed, and ate in perfect peace. We Christians can learn from that. Two things can really evoke passion; 1. Being wrong, and 2. one's opponent being wrong and not seeing it. And we all have our limit ... which the Lord allows us to reach for training purposes. Go well sister.

  20. Interesting points and I will continue to contemplate especially on the all are resurrected part (I believe you are saying some to life and some resurrected to lake of fire.) I think that Jesus by His death paid for and took away the penalty for Adam's sin, the resultant sin nature in us, AND our sins. He paid the penalty for sin and sins i.e. removed the barrier that was erected between mankind and God. 2 Cor. 5:11-21 but especially 5:19 - (trespasses plural.) Jesus by His death became the Savior of the world whether they believe it or not, - 1 Tim. 4:10 "For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe." But His saviorship doesn't save anyone. It's His resurrection that imparts life. Thus we don't tell the world to receive "Jesus as your personal Savior" (or at least that shouldn't be our message) but that He is already their Savior and that they are to acknowledge Him as their risen LORD (Rom.10:9). Just because Jesus paid for the sin and sins of the world doesn't mean they are forgiven of the same. Forgiveness comes at the point of salvation and being born again. Thus Jesus told the Pharisees that they would "die in your sins:" Jn.8:21-23. Sin and sins paid for, but because they didn't believe they didn't have life. "1Jn 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." As to 1 Cor. 15:22, Paul is saying that those in Adam are spiritually dead and will physically die. Those IN Christ (believers, born again) will be resurrected and enjoy eternal life with Him. If one is IN Adam he's dead and will physically die and suffer eternal punishment. Those IN Christ will still physically die (the wages of sin is still death) but that death is not permanent, and that which was dead in Adam has been made alive. Thus, John 11:25 "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: :26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" Thanks for your comments. Good discussion. (However, I don't think a majority of Christians have a clue about these things much less agree with me! Blessings.)

  21. I admit that what you hold is held by the majority of Christians. I can stand one with you on a street corner while you preach the above. But I would like to point out something that you yourself held in view. God sent His Son NOT to condemn the WORLD, but that through Him IT (the world) might be saved. Maybe a comment on that is in order because the "world" is the same word that we are not to love. The context is exactly what you wrote - the Adamic nature. Israel murmurs and God sent fiery serpents. They bit the Israelite and the result was exactly what is our lot. As the poison coursed through the veins of the Israelite and ended in death, so the Adamic nature courses through our veins and leads to death. They Israelite must look at a bronze serpent on a wooden post and we Christians have looked at Christ "lifted up" and Who bore our sins. Contrary to popular belief, the Adamic nature causes PHYSICAL DEATH (Rom.5:12-17, 6:23). This is not only taught by Romans 5 but the life that Adam would keep forever if he ate from the Tree of Life was his physical life. This casts a somewhat different light on what is meant in John 3. No doubt rebirth with Spiritual Life is taught, but what if the theme was the resurrection? Resurrection is the solution to physical death and our Lord Jesus spoke of "drawing ALL men to Himself". Suddenly, the meaning of saving the "world" is very pertinent. The thing is, in the account fo the fiery serpents, in Numbers 21:8-9 the Israelite was not healed if he beheld the bronze serpent. It says, TWICE, that he "LIVED". Could it be that the meaning of John 3 is DUAL. Well have you said that Jesus died for the sins of the world and gave 1st John 2:2. But that verse deals with the sins (plural) that come from the Admaic nature. The verse that applies is rather John 1:29. There, "sin" is SINGULAR. And in Romans, except for a bout four mentions, "sin" is singular throughout the Book - showing us that scripture uses the word "sin" (singular) to show the Adamic nature. So if John 1:29 is correct, Jesus the Lamb, is in view, dying for the "sin" of the WORLD. If this is true then the Adamic nature is completely done away with and God has the judicial right to RESURRECT every man. If "sin" is the cause of death, then "sin" removed is LIFE for all men. Don't get me wrong. I'm not teaching that all men are saved. I'm pointing out that ALL men are resurrected. And this is what 1st Corinthians 15:22 says. John 3 is very revealing when taken fully.

  22. Hi Dennis, You did well to get 135 names and titles. I can`t take credit for knowing that there are over 250 names and titles of our Lord. I have C.J. Rolls 5 books on that topic. However, I am not using it to comment here, (except when I think some name or title is not clear, eg. the Amen). I am just thinking myself of a name or title.

  27. Not only after Jesus Christ but before many came self proclaimed Christ or the Messiah. And everyone had followers till the time when they died. That was the reason as a proof that they were not the Messiah. One of the prerequisites to Messiah was that he will live forever which it was interpreted to them that the Messiah will never die. The scripture said that many will come to claim that they are the Christ as to deceive the people and many had already come who had claimed to be the Christ and it was proved that they were not. People were expecting something from them which they did not accomplish and God was looking forwards to a lot of things from the Christ which they did not accomplish. With the prophetic and the weak points in the Law that show there were a lot of things that needed to be accomplished that were credited towards to the coming of the Messiah which it was impossible for the Law to fulfilled them. As the time progress the Lord caused a prophecy to come about the Christ which show that the Christ has not yet come, which set aside all those other notions of How the people had perceived the profile of Christ. One of them was that that the Christ would be Elijah who was taken up and will come back. Those people believed that Elijah was indeed the Christ from the beginning while he was yet walking the earth. And in the appointed time God will send Elijah back to earth equipped to carry the work of Christ. And then God caused a prophecy to come forwards that said that the Christ has not yet be born. And other prophetic about the Messiah that they were not fulfilled one of them it was that the Christ will be born from one of the young women from among them an Israeli young woman as opposed to Issac who was born from Sarah and we know how in the book of Genesis or the way Samson was born, that's very powerful the way he was born when an angel announced to his mother to be that she will have a Son and to her husband. And she was older and she was married. And the birth of Samuel from a miracle from a promise of God that she will give birth to a Son. She was also married and not a virgin...that time the women were virgins till they got married. And then again the prophetic came in Isaiah about the Messiah how he was yet to be born from a woman that was not yet married through the intervention of God a young woman virgin to the teeth because she was dedicated to God as a prospect to be chosen by God for his proposed we can see that for the response of Mary to the announcement of the Angel Cabriel to her, it is that Mary was well pleased and receptive because the people were waiting for that to happen and were looking forwards to the chosen young woman and inspite of that some confused John the Baptist as the Christ. But John knew that he was not the one and that he will meet the Christ during his Life and that God will tell him who he was or is. AMEN.

Romans 12: 4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
