2 Corinthians 10:4 - "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds." A STRONGHOLD IS A SATANIC FORCE THAT STARTS AS A THOUGHT, THEN LAYS ITS FOUNDATION IN A PERSON'S MIND, BUILDS ITSELF UP AND MAKES ITS ABODE THERE. YOU CAN'T SIMPLY CAST DOWN A STRONGHOLD AS YOU WOULD CAST DOWN AN EVIL THOUGHT OR IMAGINATION. YOU NEED THE WORD OF GOD TO BECOME LIKE A HAMMER IN YOUR LIFE IN ORDER TO TEAR DOWN THAT STRONGHOLD AND GET IT OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM. HOW CAN YOU GET RID OF A STRONGHOLD? BY HAVING A STRONG TOWER! Psalm 61:3 - "For thou has been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy." Proverbs 18:10 - "The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe." THE WORD OF GOD CAN BECOME THE STRONG TOWER IN MY LIFE THAT CAN DEMOLISH STRONGHOLDS. THE LORD THROUGH HIS WORD CAN PUSH OUT THAT SATANIC FORCE THAT'S BEEN HOLDING ME CAPTIVE. GOD'S WORD IS STRONGER THAN ANY STRONGHOLD! Observation: I FIND THE WORD OF GOD THAT APPLIES TO MY STRONGHOLD AND SATURATE MYSELF IN IT BY AFFIRMING IT FREQUENTLY AND MEDITATING ON IT AS I GO THROUGHOUT THE DAY. I THANK GOD THAT THE STRONGHOLD HAS BEEN DEMOLISHED AS I CAST DOWN ANY WRONG THOUGHTS. 2 Corinthians 3:18 - "And all of us, as with unveiled face, because we continued to behold in the Word of God as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit." When we come to God's Word, we will reproduce what we see. Proverbs 23:7 - "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he." Affirmation: WHATEVER MY HEART IS SET UPON WHEN I COME TO THE BIBLE, WILL DETERMINE MUCH OF WHAT I SEE IN THE BIBLE. For example, if I come to God's Word with evangelism on my mind, the Bible will open up new Scriptures that I never previously considered to be evangelistic. What I carry to this watering hole will determine much of what I see and reproduce.(Genesis 30:37-39) MY DESPERATION FOR THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT IS ON MY HEART MAKES ME AVAILABLE FOR THINGS THAT OTHERS SEEM TO CONTINUALLY MISS. BY KEEPING A PURE HEART, THE JOURNEY TO GOD'S WORD IS A JOURNEY WHERE NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Psalm 119:105,111 - "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart." THE ATTITUDE OF THOSE WHO LIVE FROM THE TRIUMPH OF CHRIST IS DIFFERENT THAN THOSE WHO LIVE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF THEIR PAST. THE ONLY PART OF THE PAST THAT WE HAVE LEGAL ACCESS TO IS THE TESTIMONY OF THE LORD. THE REST IS DEAD, BURIED, FORGOTTEN, AND COVERED UNDER THE BLOOD. THE PAST SHOULD HAVE NO NEGATIVE EFFECT ON THE WAY WE LIVE, AS THE BLOOD OF JESUS IS MORE THAN SUFFICIENT. LIVING FROM THE VICTORY OF CHRIST IS THE PRIVILEGE FOR EVERY BELIEVER. Genesis 3:1 - "Now the serpent was more subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And he (Satan) said to the woman, Can it really be that God has said, 'You shall not eat from every tree of the garden"'? Observation: IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO SEE THAT MY THINKING, BELIEVING AND SPEAKING ARE RIGHT. IF I DON'T TAKE THAT RESPONSIBILITY, THE DEVIL IS GOING TO THINK MY THOUGHTS FOR ME. HE'LL ACTUALLY HAVE ME BELIEVING WHAT HE WANTS ME TO BELIEVE. AND HE'LL EVENTUALLY HAVE ME CONFESSING WHAT HE WANTS ME TO CONFESS, FRAMING MY WORLD WITH THE WRONG WORDS AND LETTING HIM HAVE DOMINION OVER ME. Revelation 12:17 - "So then the dragon was furious (enraged) at the woman, and he went away to wage war on the remainder of her descendants - on those who obey God's commandments and who have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Luke 10:21 -- 'In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight."' One way we can be convinced we've heard from God is that the answer is simple. Jesus took complicated problems of blindness, leprosy, and paralysis, and simplified them into obedience -- 'Go wash.' ' Go show yourselves to the priest.' 'Take up your bed and walk.' Hearing God's voice doesn't mean we understand all the mysteries of the world. It means that God will articulate a word or command that will simplify, heal, and deliver us in our situation. This is the ultimate Christianity -- communication and communion with the Holy Spirit, knowing more and more about Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Affirmations: AS I STUDY THE WORD OF GOD, I SEEK WISDOM AND REVELATION FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT. AS I ENDEAVOR TO HEAR THE VOICE OF THE LORD, I PAY ATTENTION TO THE HOLY SPIRIT INSIDE OF ME -- HE HAS THE KEYS TO UNLOCK ANY SITUATION. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Titus 3:15 - "These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. Do not let anyone despise you." THE REASON CHRISTIANS DON'T HAVE THE AUTHORITY THEY SHOULD HAVE IS THAT THEY DON'T HAVE THE ABIDING WORD INSIDE OF THEM. THEY HAVE A WRITTEN WORD; THEY HAVE WHAT THEY HEARD SOMEONE ELSE SAY; THEY EVEN HAVE A LOT OF FAVORITE SCRIPTURES THAT THEY LIKE TO QUOTE. BUT THEY HAVEN'T MADE THOSE SCRIPTURES THEIRS PERSONALLY. THOSE CHRISTIANS ARE STILL ECHOING, JUST REPEATING THE WORD. Affirmations: I'M GOING TO WRESTLE WITH THAT WORD AND MEDITATE ON IT UNTIL IT BECOMES A WORD FOR ME! WHEN I COME OUT OF MEDITATION TIME, I WILL COME OUT WITH A SWORD OF THE SPIRIT! John 15:7 - "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you." 1 Corinthians 13:4,5 - "Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful." When I release love into a situation, I have released God into it -- Jesus becomes responsible for its success. AFFIRMATION: I release love every moment into every situation, every prayer, and every thought until it totally consumes my life. It will strengthen me and cast out every fear that has robbed me of God's greater blessings. It will drive the devil out of my affairs and set me free from every torment of darkness. Luke 23:44-46 - "By now it was about midday and a darkness fell over the whole land, which lasted until three in the afternoon; the sun's light failed. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Then Jesus gave a loud cry and said, 'Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit'; and with these words he died." When the veil of self cloaks our hearts, our perceptions are stained by the basic selfish orientation of our nature. But when one dedicates themselves to the Lord, the veil of the self-life, like the veil in the temple, is torn in two. This is not the cutting of some thin cloth but the tearing of the heart, the splitting in two of the tightly woven fabric of self-righteousness and self-consciousness. It is a violent rending, a putting to death, of the unregenerated self-nature. 2 Corinthians 3:16 - "But whenever a man turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Hebrews 5:11 - "Concerning this we have much to say which is hard to explain, since you have become dull in your (spiritual) hearing and sluggish (even slothful in achieving spiritual insight)." They were not in need of hearing aids; rather their inward man had digressed to become insensitive to spiritual things. The Holy Spirit does not communicate to our head but to our spirit. You can be a believer for years and not develop your spirit. Scripture tells us that John the Baptist "grew and became strong in spirit". Regarding spiritual development, Paul told Timothy to give himself entirely to it "that your progress may be evident to all." Luke 1:80 - "And the little boy grew and became strong in spirit." Mark 9:23 - "What do you mean, 'If you can'?' said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes." Faith is having a knowing on the inside. Faith knows you are healed even when you don't feel it yet. Faith knows you're safe even when tragedy happens nearby. Faith knows you have peace even when everyone around you is afraid. Faith doesn't deny the circumstances. Faith believes in the higher truth of God's word in spite of the circumstances. John 12:28,29 - "'Rather, I will say, Father, glorify Your name!' Then there came a voice out of heaven saying, I have already glorified it, and I will glorify it again. The crowd of bystanders heard the sound and said that it had thundered; others said, An angel has spoken to Him!" Jesus taught us to pray for earth to manifest what is already in Heaven. How is it to be done? God will use spiritual sound - sound that will be unintelligible to spiritual wickedness and hidden from man's natural mind. Spiritual sound is not random indefinite noise. It is a sound which speaks and reveals knowledge to those with ears to hear. We are like instruments that resonate the sound coming from heaven - the approaching rule of the King of Kings. John 3:8 - "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." Affirmations: THE SOUNDS OF HEAVEN HAVE FALLEN TO ME IN PLEASANT PLACES; YES, I HAVE A GOOD INHERITANCE. I REVEAL SPIRITUAL THOUGHTS WITH SPIRITUAL WORDS, AS THE SPIRIT LEADS ME. I AM GROWING IN MY CAPACITY TO RELEASE SPIRITUAL SOUND ALIGNING WITH THE HEART AND NATURE OF GOD. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

John 15:7,8 - "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. Bythis my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples." Some are willing to spend hours in prayer asking for a miracle instead of planting the word of God in their hearts, which in time would produce the miracle. Prayer is what water and fertilizer are to a seed. They help the word release its life. But if you haven't planted the seed, it doesn't matter how much water and fertilizer you apply, the soil still won't produce fruit. It's the seed that has life! Genesis 3:11 - "And He said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?" By taking the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they found a source of the knowledge of right and wrong outside of God. This can be identified as the principle of reasoning. They no longer needed the wisdom of God; they could govern themselves according to their sense of right and wrong. This is why God questioned them "who told you?" They replaced obedience with reasoning. Jesus compares the Church to virgins who "all got drowsy and began to sleep" (Matthew 25:5). Virgins sleeping at the end of the age: this seems incomprehensible with all the signs in the Heavens and wonders upon the earth, not to mention the increasing presence of Christ. Yet this phenomenon is something we each battle: THE TENDENCY TO BECOME SPIRITUALLY DROWSY AND LOSE OUR FOCUS as we wait for the Lord's return. There is a subtle activity of the enemy that dulls our perception and seduces our zeal. Our vision takes a backseat to other less important aspects of life. From the beginning, the voice of satan has had this lulling effect on mankind. Eve's excuse for disobedience was, "The serpent hath caused me to forget" (Genesis 3:13Young's Literal Translation). This sense of spiritual forgetfulness, of drowsiness, is the cloud of blindness that we each must discern and overcome. Today, God is awakening us to the reality of His presence. The promises the Lord gives us in the Scriptures must become more to us than dream-like realities only reserved for the hereafter. Jesus unveiled God's glory on the Mount of Transfiguration! Paul says that we all can behold the glory of God and be transformed by it (see 2 Corinthians 3:18). For this reason, the Scripture says, "Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you" (Ephesians 5:14). If we truly want Christ to "shine" upon us, we must arise from the distractions that entomb us in lethargy and spiritual darkness. Right at this moment, the presence of the living God is near enough to hear the whisper of your heart. But if we want our dream of standing in the presence of God to come true, we must wake up. AFFIRMATIONS: God has given me his Spirit, not the world’s spirit, so that I may realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts of divine favor and blessings so freely and lavishly bestowed on me by God. (I Corinthians 2:12) I am complete in Him who is the head of all principality and power. For I am His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God has before ordained that I should walk therein (Colossians 2:10; Ephesians 2:10). Out of His glorious riches He strengthens me with power through his Spirit in my inner man (Ephesians 3:16). 2 Corinthians 10:4 - "The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to tear down strongholds." Wherever a stronghold exists, it is a demonically induced pattern of thinking. Specifically, it is a "house made of thoughts" which has become a dwelling place for satanic activity. The strongholds upon which demons rely consists of our own thoughts, attitudes, and opinions which are in agreement with evil. The strongholds that affect us most are those which are so hidden in our thinking patterns that we do not recognize them or identify them as evil. Matthew 12:37 - "For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." AFFIRMATIONS: Today!....I make up my mind that I'm going to speak life to my situation and circumstances. I am going to the word of God to find out what He has to say about me and my situation, and I'm going to say what He says. Today!...I curse the wrong words I've spoken over my life and begin to speak the words of life I'm supposed to speak. Proverbs 6:2 - 'You are snared (trapped) with the words of your lips, you are caught by the speech of your mouth.' Proverbs 18:21 - 'Death and life are in the power of the tongue.' l Corinthians 3:18,19 - "Make no mistake about it: if any one of you thinks of himself as wise, in the ordinary sense of the word, then he must learn to be a fool before he really can be wise. Why? Because the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God....God is not convinced by the arguments of the wise." On our own we cannot comprehend how to grow and live in oneness with God. Nothing in the world's wisdom, nothing in our human knowledge can match the wisdom of God which is eternal and from above. The only way to receive wisdom from God is to come before Him (submitting your spirit to Him), pushing away every bit of understanding you think you have gained, and each day, offer yourself as a servant who is willing to do the lowest job. As long as you allow the spirit of "superior knowledge" to secretly overtake you -- that is, to be master of you of your own soul -- you will be as powerless in spirit as a slave -- always subject to your lower nature. 2 Corinthians 10:4 - "The weapons we use in our fight are not the world's weapons, but God's powerful weapons with which to destroy strongholds." WE DEAL WITH THE DEVIL BY DEALING WITH THE CARNAL THOUGHT SYSTEMS, THE STRONGHOLDS, THAT PROTECT THE ENEMY. THE PULLING DOWN OF STRONGHOLDS BEGINS WITH REPENTANCE. THE ENERGIES WE EXPEND IN KEEPING OUR SINS SECRET ARE THE ACTUAL "MATERIALS" OF WHICH A STRONGHOLD IS MADE. THE DEMON YOU ARE FIGHTING IS USING YOUR THOUGHTS TO PROTECT HIS ACCESS TO YOUR LIFE. John 17:16,17 - "They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." WE'VE BEEN PLACED IN ANOTHER WORLD; OUR CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN. WE ARE TO LIVE BY HEAVENLY PRINCIPLES, AND ONE OF THOSE PRINCIPLES IS THAT OF FRAMING OUR WORLD WITH THE WORD OF GOD. Affirmations: I DON'T CONFESS WHAT I DON'T HAVE - I CONFESS WHAT I DESIRE TO HAVE. I DON'T TALK ABOUT WHAT I CAN'T DO - I TALK ABOUT WHAT I CAN DO THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME. GOD HAS DONE HIS PART - HE SENT JESUS. THE HOLY SPIRIT INDWELLS ME, AND I HAVE GOD'S WORD. I USE IT TO FRAME MY WORLD. Luke 13:20,21 - "To what shall I liken the kingdom of God? It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened." Much like light that exposes, or salt that preserves, leaven influences its surroundings in a subtle but overpowering way. So it is with the infiltrating power of the Kingdom of God. Without a revelation of what God intends to do in our lives regarding our CALLING in Christ, we cannot move in overcoming faith. When the main goal of our faith is to keep us safe from the devil, our faith becomes inferior to what God expects. Jesus had in mind more for us than survival. We are destined to overcome. Every conversion plunders hell. Every miracle destroys the works of the devil. Every God encounter is an "invasion of the almighty" into our desperate condition. This is our joy. Revelation 12:11 - "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Isaiah 11:6 Remember "and the lion shall lie down with the Lamb?" It has changed to "and the wolf will dwell with the lamb." The lion isn't with the lamb anymore.

John 10:4 - "The gate keeper admits him, and the sheep hear his voice; he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. When he as brought them all out, he goes ahead and the sheep follow, because they know his voice." JESUS DID NOT SAY, "MY SHEEP WILL KNOW MY BOOK." IT IS HIS VOICE THAT WE ARE TO KNOW. WHY THE DISTINCTION? BECAUSE ANYONE CAN KNOW THE BIBLE AS A BOOK - THE DEVIL HIMSELF KNOWS AND QUOTES THE SCRIPTURES. BUT ONLY THOSE WHOSE LIVES ARE DEPENDENT ON THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL CONSISTENTLY RECOGNIZE HIS VOICE. Observation: I MUST DILIGENTLY STUDY THE SCRIPTURES, REMEMBERING THAT IT IS IN KNOWING HIM THAT THE GREATEST TRUTHS OF SCRIPTURE WILL BE UNDERSTOOD. 2 Corinthians 10:4 says, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds." ' How is gratitude a weapon? Gratitude means being grateful not only for what God has already done but for what He is about to do. Combining faith with gratitude multiplies the power of this spiritual weapon. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. He uses fear to capture hearts. He uses lies to capture land. Gratitude prevents him. Gratitude actually takes territory from the enemy. Thus, gratitude is a weapon in spiritual warfare. Gratitude creates an atmosphere forincrease. Look at all of the traps gratitude helps you avoid: self-pity, entitlement, resentment, greed, lust, and anger are a few. See what a great strategy gratitude is? Gratitude helps you avoid disappointment and indignation. As an active strategy for wellness, it promotes healing. It leaves little room for fear. Gratitude and contentment enhance godliness as you set your affection on things above and not things below. That is great gain. You will not win the world with your logic, you will win the world with love. There is no logic that can explain His love. So let His love flow through your heart, peace dictate your thoughts, and compassion craft your words. Isaiah 54:17 - "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord." Observation: I ESTABLISH MYSELF THROUGH PRAYER SAYING, "LORD, I REFUSE TO BE AFRAID OF THIS WEAPON THE DEVIL HAS BROUGHT AGAINST ME BECAUSE I KNOW THAT ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD, IT CANNOT PROSPER. I TRUST YOU TO PROTECT ME, AND I THANK YOU FOR YOUR PROTECTION NOW. IN JESUS' NAME. AMEN." Affirmations: NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER. NO SICKNESS, NO CIRCUMSTANCE, NO PROBLEM THAT RISES AGAINST ME CAN SUCCESSFULLY BRING ME DOWN. I DON'T LET THE POWERHOUSE OF GOD'S PROTECTION GO TO WASTE. I PUT IT TO WORK IN MY LIFE. IT IS MY RIGHTFUL HERITAGE AS A SERVANT OF THE LORD. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Acts 3:6,7 - "But Peter said, Silver and gold I do not have; but what I do have, that I give to you: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk! Then he took hold of the man's right hand with a firm grip and raised him up. And at once his feet and ankle bones became strong and steady." Part of our problem is this: we are accustomed only to doing things for God that are not impossible. If God doesn't show up and help us, we can still succeed. There must be an aspect of the Christian Life that is impossible without divine intervention that keeps us on the edge and puts us in contact with our true calling. Matthew 17:21 - "Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." The Kingdom of God is not a religion; it is an ever-expanding, all-consuming relationship with Jesus Christ. It is as different from religion as a brilliant angel is from a shadowy ghost. The only temple God dwells within on earth is the temple of our human bodies. John, in the book of Revelation, is very plain. He says of the Holy City -- "I saw no temple therein." Revelation 21:2,22 - "And I, John, saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it." Hebrews 12:2 - "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Notice Jesus is the "Author." What does that mean? It means your faith originated with Him. And not only is He the Author, He is the Finisher too. "From faith to faith" in Romans 1:17 means we are to begin and finish in faith. We are to start in faith and stand in faith until that which we are believing for arrives. We go from "faith to faith" not faith to feelings. So if you are believing God's word for something, that Word is the Starter and the Finisher! Mark 4:26,27 - "And Jesus said, 'so is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.'" Faith is a seed. When we are dealing in faith, there is a timing for the manifestation. It takes time sometimes for our faith to pull things into the natural realm. That's why the bible says it's "from faith to faith." We have to stay in faith even when we don't see any changes. In our faith, we have to get above seeing or feeling something. Affirmations: I OPERATE IN THE KIND OF FAITH THAT RECEIVES VICTORY AND MAINTAINS THAT VICTORY SINCE I HOLD FAST TO MY BELIEVING AND CONFESSING. WHEN MY FAITH IS CHALLENGED I FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH. I STAY ON COURSE UNTIL THE FIGHT IS FINISHED. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

God responds with a literal invasion of heaven to earth through the worship of the believer. God responds to the praises of His people as mentioned in Isaiah 42:13 --"He shall go forth like a mighty man; he shall stir up his zeal like a man of war. He shall cry out, Yes, shout aloud; he shall prevail against his enemies." As a communion with God in praise and worship, affirm out loud each of the below psalm verses 5 times per day. Also use them as a prayerful meditation as you go throughout the day. Psalm 8:1 - O LORD, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens. NLT Psalm 19:7 - The instructions of the LORD are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. NLT Psalm 20:7 - 7 Some boast in chariots and some in horses, But we will boast in the name of the Lord, our God. NASB Psalm 24:1 - The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. NLT Psalm 24:8 - Who is the King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle. NASB ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

John 9:14,16 - "And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes. Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because He keepeth not the sabbath day." MOST OF THE PHARISEES SPENT THEIR LIVES SERVING GOD WITHOUT EVER DISCOVERING THE FATHER'S HEART! WHILE THE PHARISEES THOUGHT GOD WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE SABBATH, JESUS WORKED TO HELP THE ONES THE SABBATH WAS CREATED FOR. THESE LEADERS WERE ACCUSTOMED TO THE MIRACLES OF THE SCRIPTURES REMAINING IN THE PAST. BUT JESUS BROKE INTO THEIR COMFORT ZONES BY USHERING THE SUPERNATURAL INTO THEIR CITIES. 1 Samuel 17:46 - "This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and He will give you into our hands." DAVID FRAMED HIS WORLD. BEFORE HE EVER FOUGHT GOLIATH, HE CALLED OUT WHAT THE OUTCOME WOULD BE. HE CALLED THINGS THAT BE NOT AS THOUGH THEY WERE (ROMANS 4:17). BY FAITH, DAVID SAID, "THE LORD IS GOING TO GIVE YOU INTO MY HANDS TODAY, GOLIATH, AND I'M GOING TO CUT OFF YOUR HEAD!" GOD WANTS US TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN OUR PRAYING AND IN OUR SAYING. IF HE DIDN'T WANT US TO SUCCEED, HE WOULDN'T HAVE GIVEN US A PATTERN BY WHICH WE COULD FRAME OUR WORLD. Exodus 19:14 - "You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to Myself." In facing their threshold or brink, marching through the "GATES" out of captivity in Egypt, Israel has to make a leap of faith. If they took the leap of faith, would God come and bear them up on eagle's wings? Bold action is always motivated by faith of some kind. Faith-filled people of God take bold action, which opens a "GATE" and releases spiritual power. Paul opened up a "GATE" in Ephesus when he boldly preached the gospel in the city. Not only were people changed but the socioeconomic system of the city was transformed as well. The city transformed (see Acts 19). Bold action opens up a "GATE" of spiritual power and blessing from God. The heavens over an area are opened in a new way. It is at the "GATES" as someone steps onto the threshold that faith and perseverance are tested. It is at the threshold where either spiritual abortion or spiritual birthing occurs. Affirmations: GOD HAS A GREAT DEAL FOR ME TO POSSESS. MY TAKING POSSESSION WILL REQUIRE GREAT FAITH AND PERSEVERANCE. GOD IS CONTINUALLY PUTTING NEW CHALLENGES BEFORE ME TO DEVELOP MY FAITH AND PERSEVERANCE AT A DEEPER LEVEL. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

John 7:18 - "He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him." The pride that comes from mere bible knowledge is divisive. It creates an appetite for one's own opinion. Those trained without a revelation that takes us to Him are trained to speak from themselves, for their own glory. This drive for knowledge without an encounter with God wars against true righteousness. Hebrews 11:6 - "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." All Fear is rooted in the notion that God's promises won't come to pass. Fear of poverty is really fear that Philippians 4:19 (concerning God providing all my needs) won't work. Fear of sickness is really the fear that 1 Peter 2:24 (concerning god's promise to heal me) won't work. OBSERVATION: I know that God is motivated by my faith and not my fears. As I hear God's word and receive it, faith will come. Likewise, if I listen to and receive satan's word's, fear will be amplified in my life. Since I have a choice --I choose faith! Ephesians 1:3,4 - "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. According as he has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love." Many people who are doing something significant for God in the world are doing it "without their own resources" because God doesn't want us to depend on our own abilities. Instead, He wants us to be obedient by putting the vision on paper and then looking to Him to generate the funds and other resources that are needed to support His own work. Your provision, however, is usually hidden until you act on your vision. Whatever you were born to do attracts what you need to do it. Therefore, you first have to establish what you want to do, and begin to do it, before the need can be met. Affirmations: I KNOW THAT GOD WILL NEVER GIVE ME A VISION WITHOUT PROVISION. I REALIZE THAT MY PROVISION IS USUALLY HIDDEN UNTIL I ACT ON MY VISION. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

1 Corinthians 8:1 - "Now, the matter about food offered to idols. It is true, of course, that "all of us have knowledge," as they say. Such knowledge, however, puffs a man up with pride; but love builds up." OBSERVATION: "Knowledge puffs up......" Notice Paul didn't say unbiblical knowledge or carnal knowledge. Knowledge, including that whichcomes from scripture, has the potential to make me proud. So how can I protect myself from the pride that comes from knowledge, even when it's from the bible? I must be certain that it takes me to Jesus! Revelation 3:15,16 - "I know what you have done; I know that you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were either one or the other! But because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I am going to spit, you out of my mouth." IN THE MIDST OF WORLDLINESS, LUKEWARMNESS, AND OUTRIGHT DECEPTIONS, THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM IS THE MESSAGE JESUS SAID WOULD BE PROCLAIMED IN THE LAST DAYS. AND IF WE ARE LISTENING TO SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT CENTER US FIRMLY UPON THE PATH INTO GOD'S KINGDOM, IF WE ARE NOT BECOMING LIKE JESUS IN HOLINESS AND POWER, WE ARE BEING MISLED, AND THAT MISLEADING KNOWLEDGE IS AN IDOL. 2 Timothy 3:5 - "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. " Matthew 16:18 - "On this rock I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Where precisely are the gates of hell? Where does the devil sit in power? The mind is the gatekeeper of the Kingdom of God. It is the place of access, transition, and power. It follows that the gates of hell are set up in people's minds. Jesus made this clear: Matthew 16:23 - "But He turned and said to Peter, 'Get behind Me, satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.'" When you've been given the Spirit of God, you lose the privilege of claiming, "I'm only human." Paul rebukes the church at Corinth for behaving like mere men (1 Corinthians 3:3). The gate of hell is in our minds any time we agree with a man-centered perspective or natural wisdom that does not know God. We empower demonic forces and become a gate to release his power to kill, steal, and destroy our lives. Affirmation: I AM A GATEWAY FOR HEAVEN'S REALITY TO TAKE OVER EVERY PART OF MY LIFE, AND THE LIVES OF PEOPLE WHO I INFLUENCE, NO MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL THE SPECIFIC SITUATION IS. Titus 3:9 - "Don't get involved in arguing over unanswerable questions and controversial theological ideas; keep out of arguments and quarrels about obedience to Jewish laws, for this kind of thing isn't worthwhile; it only does harm." Observation: REVELATION THAT DOESN'T LEAD TO A GOD ENCOUNTER ONLY SERVES TO MAKE ME MORE RELIGIOUS. UNLESS SCRIPTURE LEADS ME TO HIM, I ONLY BECOME BETTER EQUIPPED TO DEBATE WITH THOSE WHO DISAGREE WITH MY WAY OF THINKING. 1 Samuel 17:38,39 - "And Saul armed David with his armor, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail (armor made of metal plates) and David girded his sword upon his armor, and he tried to go but could not, for he was not used to it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him." DAVID WAS SAYING, "I CAN'T USE THESE THINGS; I HAVEN'T PROVED THEM." HOW MAY TIMES IN SPIRITUAL BATTLE DO WE TRY TO USE EVERYTHING WE CAN GET OUR HANDS ON - EXCEPT THE WORD OF GOD? WE TRY TO FIND ANSWERS IN OUR OWN STRENGTH. WE TRY TO SOLICIT HELP FROM OTHERS OR TRY TO WORK IT OUT OURSELVES. IT SEEMS WE'RE AFRAID TO TRUST THE WORD OF GOD, AND IT'S THE GREATEST WEAPON WE COULD EVER HAVE. Matthew 6:33 -- "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Therefore, our number one priority every day is to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. IT IS NOT TO SEEK TO ADD THESE THESE THINGS TO OURSELVES. But what is righteousness? Righteousness is not right behavior. It is right standing with the Father. It is the clearance of all your guilt, which makes you able to stand before God. It is not something you get through right behavior. It is a GIFT from God. Paul calls it "the gift of righteousness" (Romans 5:17). And to "seek" this gift is to be CONSCIOUS OF THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE IT -- TO CONFESS THAT YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS IN CHRIST. At the cross, Jesus didn't just remove our sins, He gave us His righteousness so that today, we can come boldly before the throne of God and receive freely everything that He died to give us! AFFIRMATIONS: I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. (2 Corinthians 5:21) I seek the righteousness of Jesus, not my own righteousness. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Romans 6:16 - "You belong to the power which you choose to obey, whether you choose sin, whose reward is death, or God, obedience to whom means the reward of righteousness." IN NEW TESTAMENT TERMS, BEING A PEOPLE FOCUSED ON HIS PRESENCE MEANS THAT WE ARE WILLING TO LIVE BEYOND REASON. THE REALM BEYOND REASON IS THE WORLD OF OBEDIENCE TO GOD. OBEDIENCE IS THE EXPRESSION OF FAITH, AND FAITH IS OUR CLAIM TICKET TO THE GOD REALM. Galatians 3:6,7 - "Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham." Matthew 13:44 - "The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure a man discovered in a field. In his excitement, he sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field - and get the treasure, too! " WHAT IS THIS "GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM"? IT IS THE WHOLE MESSAGE OF JESUS CHRIST. IT IS MORE DEMANDING, MORE FULFILLING, AND MORE HOLY AND MORE POWERFUL THAN THE "GOSPEL" OF TYPICAL AMERICAN CHRISTIANITY. ACCORDING TO JESUS, WHEN ANYONE FINDS THE KINGDOM OF GOD, "FOR JOY OVER IT HE GOES AND SELLS ALL". ONCE FOUND, IT MUST BE SOUGHT FIRST EVEN BEFORE NECESSARY FOOD AND CLOTHING; AND IT IS SUCH A PRICELESS TREASURE THAT ONE SHOULD RATHER SUFFER THE LOSS OF A HAND OR EYE THAN LOSE THE KINGDOM. Mark 9:43,47 - "And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go to hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell." "SURELY your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life... " - Psalm 23:6 How would you like it if the Lord's goodness permeates and invades every area of your life this year, bringing healing and restoration, breakthrough and dreams fulfilled, relationship reconciliation and family salvation, debt cancellation and increased favor at your work? The goodness of God is not something that God does; it is who He is! It is His nature to be the good to His children! He is incapable of sabotaging His nature! All we need is to choose to believe His goodness, declare it, meditate on it, speak it over our lives and circumstances, receive it by faith, and watch what the Lord will do on our behalf! Psalm 31:19 says, "How great is the goodness You have stored up for those who fear You. You lavish it on those who come to You for protection, blessing them before the watching world." AFFIRMATIONS: I am confident that I see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! The Lord has stored up goodness for me and He's ready to lavish it over my life! 1 John 2:17,18 - "The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come." Religion idolizes concepts and avoids personal experience. It is the antichrist spirit that has given rise to religious spirits. Being led by the Holy Spirit is an ongoing God encounter. A religious spirit is a demonic presence that works to get us to substitute being led by our intellect instead of the Spirit of God. Galatians 5:25 - "If the Spirit is the source of our life, let the Spirit also direct our course." John 4:24 - "God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." Exodus 34:14 - "You shall not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God." The Lord did not say He was, at times, jealous; He said His name, which reveals His nature, is "Jealous". Right next to His name "I Am" is His name "Jealous". His jealousy for us is perfect. It is not the same as human jealousy: petty, possessive and insecure. His jealousy is based upon His pure love for us and His desire to bless us and fulfill our lives in Him. His love is not some ethereal principle of "higher cosmic consciousness." His love is focused upon us, actually jealous for us as individuals. AFFIRMATION: Jesus knows my name. Jesus loves me personally. Jesus gave all for me. Jesus deserves all from me. James 4:5 - "Or do you suppose it is vain that the scripture says, "He yearns jealously over the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us." John 10:3 - "To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice; and He calleth His own sheep by name, and leadeth them out." "Seeing that it will not be impossible with God to fulfill His every declaration." - Luke 1:37 There is supernatural power released in the Word of God through declaration. Jesus said (Mark 11:23) in the letter to the Hebrews (Hebrews 10:23) that we are encouraged to hold fast our confession. Once we have released our faith in the command of faith or the prayer of faith, we must continue to believe God is working regardless of any visible change. When we affirm out loud and meditate on the Word concerning our authority, the Holy Spirit writes His laws on the tablets of our hearts. As we endure as good soldiers, we hold fast to the Word until it is manifested in the seen realm. The Words of Jesus, which were given to Him by His Father, upholds all things. Blessings Brothers & Sisters Recently I noticed many discussions where someone asks a simply question"Where did you get that information?"I'm sure that has always been a very common question but there are a couple of reasons that it really got my attention and I will go on to explain why.... There are several re-actions(please not I intentionally used the word REACTION here) A) the person who has been asked this question will take offense & reply"I don't have to answer that B) Try to defend their position by quoting verses of Scripture completely out of context Immediately they copy C) In less than 30 seconds they will copy/paste an answer from an information website that is someones commentary or answer which is their personal interpretation and D) they simply post an external link? Then,you do have people that do not REACT but replies after a few minutes,hours or even the next day...these folks usually will take the time to explain where & why or they truly don't remember and will say so OR tell you they will get back to you....& I'm sure there are tons of other responses to the question but that is just to name a few The reason I started this discussion is so you(we) can all ask ourselves "Where do get MY information" In other words ,,,"what are your sources & do you really take the time to test & approve? Not only should we see if the information we gathered is in accordance with Gods Word but also we must make sure that whoever has quoted Scripture has done so accurately......if someone responds & post a verse of Scripture do you go to the Bible to see that it has been quoted correctly?Perhaps you have memorized each& every Word that you do know it is precise?Well,Holy Spirit does bring Remembrance to us as we are firmly rooted & grounded in the Word of God ,yet ,,,ask yourself,have I prayed & tried the spirit? You see,I did a little experiment with a dear friend of mine & asked her if I was quoting the Scriptures accurately(I changed one word here & one word there,it w4ould be similar & still it changed the entire meaning of Gods Word) As a mature Spirit Filled woman of god ,her first response was "Let me first get my Bible" I said"No no,I want to try something" So she agreed & the outcome was not a surprise,,,,,she didn't notice,couldn't pinpoint the error.....being she is well versed in Scripture she often said" Wait a minute ,that does not seem quite right!!!!" There are many times I see someones a reply ,full of quoted Scriptures,some I know very well(to the letter) & others I double check to make sure......& then there are times,I must admit,that I carelessly have taken for granted that they are accurate without giving it much thought.....don't you? So please,don't take anyone at THEIR word,we humans can & do make mistakes,we are not perfect although we strive for Perfection in Christ Jesus.It is not a race to put up a reply as quickly as possible,if you are unsure of the answer & have a favorite website that you believe to be a reliable source,check it....be sure they have not only provided good information but that their sources are good also & ACCURATE,,,,,just because someone refers to Scripture does not mean the shoe fits or that it was even copied without addition or with omission......we each have a responsibility to seek Gods Truth ,we have a PERSONAL Relationship with God in Christ,we are Indwelled by Holy Spirit,we can approach the Throne of Grace Boldly & Confidently for ourselves,,,,& one day when we are asked the very same question,by Jesus,,,,,"Because he/she said so" will not suffice..... The internet provides a wealth of information & if you do your due diligence you can benefit tremendously by what is available but be CAREFUL & VIGILANT.....Google is not a source in itself,I hear a lot of people say "Well,I googled it!" ...Great.but where did google lead you to ,it is merely a search engine to point you in the right direction....In my younger days we didn't have computers,the library was one place to go to find information....we had to "take notes" & would end up with heaps & heaps of paperwork to do research.....a few times I have been asked what my sources are & honestly,it could take weeks to sort through hundreds of papers to find but I can tell you this much,I never took anyone's word for what they said to be "facts"....I looked it up * then I looked that up which lead to looking that up & so on & so on.......today,everything is at your fingertips in an instant we can research what may have taken many days so it is not that difficult And the same goes for rumors & hearsay,just because there are 5 websites that say "So & so is a false teacher" does not make it so,did you hear with your own ears,who are these people saying so?and more importantly,WHY are they saying so.....have they quoted one paragraph that was certainly a false doctrine that the person said & nobody quoted the second paragraph where that person explained that he was showing a false doctrine?lol Be alert,double check,triple check....do not be a rumor monger just because you have not taken the time to do proper research,that is not what a Christian does,,,,,we have to be accountable for every word spoken........and many things we do not know or are not sure of we must be sure to say so OR don't say it,it is not edifying.....We don't have to have ALL the answers nor are we expected to,I very rarely hear 3 little words ...."I don't know" or "I wouldn't know".....they are not difficult words to say Thanks for reading & I do hope to encourage everyone to got the extra mile and with just a little more time & effort I guarantee that we will grow that much more and not only be Bountifully Blessed but be a blessing as well! THE ANOINTING JESUS RECEIVED AT HIS BAPTISM WAS THE EQUIPMENT NECESSARY, GIVEN BY THE FATHER TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR HIM TO LIVE BEYOND HUMAN LIMITATIONS. HE WAS TO UNVEIL THE FATHER'S REALM CALLED HEAVEN. THAT WOULD INCLUDE DOING SUPERNATURAL THINGS. THE ANOINTING IS WHAT LINKED JESUS, THE MAN, TO THE DIVINE, ENABLING HIM TO DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL. THESE MIRACULOUS WAYS HELPED TO SET SOMETHING IN MOTION THAT MANKIND COULD INHERIT ONCE WE WERE REDEEMED. HEAVEN -- THAT SUPERNATURAL REALM -- WAS TO BECOME MANKIND'S DAILY BREAD. Romans 10:8 - "The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach." Affirmations: THE WORD OF GOD IN MY MOUTH IS SPOKEN INTO MY HEART. I CAN HEAR ABOUT THE WORD. I CAN LEARN ABOUT THE WORD. I CAN REJOICE OVER THE WORD. BUT UNTIL I SPEAK THE WORD, IT HAS NOT REACHED ITS HIGHEST FORM. THE WORDS I SPEAK -- IF THEY ARE WORDS OF LIFE -- GIVE LIFE, QUICKEN, MAKE ALIVE. John 6:63 - "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." "For we are HIS workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:10 This is not a time for any Believer or leader in the Body of Christ to be humdrum, expecting only what we have seen and experienced before. We have never been where we are going now (see Joshua 3:4). We all must prepare for what is ahead: The call to embrace the awe of Almighty God. A wonderful, reverential fear of the Lord is returning to the people of God, releasing the wisdom of God (see Psalm 111:10), as God's people return to a radical love for Christ and action regarding God's PURPOSE for their life supported by that love. Mark 4:26 - "So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground." AFFIRMATIONS: I DON'T SIT AROUND WAITING FOR GOD TO PRODUCE MY HARVEST. I FIND PRECIOUS PROMISES FROM THE WORD OF GOD AND PLANT THEM IN MY HEART AND IN MY LIFE. I START WATCHING OVER MY LAND (MY HEART AND MY MIND) TO KEEP IT MOIST, WATERED WITH THE WORD, AND FREE FROM WEEDS (UNFORGIVENESS, DOUBT, FEAR, AND DISCOURAGEMENT). 2 Peter 1:4 - "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." Luke 8:23-25 - "But as they sailed He fell asleep. And they came to Him, and awoke Him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then He arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. And He said unto them, 'Where is your faith?"' Even after the disciples got their answer to prayer (a stilled storm), Jesus asked them about their unbelief. For most of us an answer to prayer is the reward for our great faith. In this case they got the answer but were said to be small in faith. He expected them to exercise the authority He had given them to quiet the seas themselves. Instead they asked Him to do it. We often pray in the place of risky obedience. "...we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is" (1 John 3:2). It does not mean that we shall have faces like Jesus, but have the same Spirit. When they look at us and see the glory, they will say, "Yes, it is the same Spirit," for they will see the luster of the glory of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is working in us and bringing us to a condition where we know He is doing a work in us. God wants us to be so filled with the Spirit, and walk in the Spirit, that while we live here on earth our heads will be right up in heaven so that each day may be the day we go up with Him. MANY BELIEVERS, LIKE THE ISRAELITES, ARE WANDERING AROUND IN A WILDERNESS OF DEFEAT BECAUSE THERE'S AN ENEMY IN THE PROMISED LAND. THEY'RE BEING ROBBED OF THEIR RIGHTFUL INHERITANCE BECAUSE THEY'RE AFRAID TO FIGHT HIM. Affirmations: I AM NO LONGER GOING TO SIT IN THE WILDERNESS WHERE THE DEVIL STEALS THE BLESSINGS OF GOD OUT FROM UNDER ME. I HAVE GOD'S PERMISSION AND HIS POWER AND HIS ABILITY TO TAKE THE LAND. I GET VIOLENT ENOUGH TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT ......TODAY! Matthew 11:12 - "From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and violent take it by force." Hebrews 1:14 - "Are they (angels) not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" AS AN AMBASSADOR, THE MILITARY OF THE KINGDOM I REPRESENT IS AT MY DISPOSAL TO HELP ME CARRY OUT THE KING'S ORDERS. IF AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF A NATION MY LIFE IS THREATENED, ALL OF MY GOVERNMENT'S MILITARY MIGHT IS PREPARED TO DO WHAT-EVER NECESSARY TO PROTECT AND DELIVER ME. SO IT IS WITH THE HEAVEN'S ANGELIC HOST. THEY RENDER SERVICE FOR THOSE WHO WOULD INHERIT SALVATION. "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the heathen..." - Galatians 1:15,16 Before we were ever born He purposed in His heart to do mighty things in us. Are you going to refuse it, or are you gong to yield? 1. If you yield, He will put in you a living faith, and you cannot get away from the power of it. 2. How amazing it is that we can be so transformed that the thoughts of Christ will be first in our minds. 3. 2 Corinthians 5:18,20 - "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ." JUST AS AMBASSADORS OF THE UNITED STATES HAVE AN INCOME BASED ON THE STANDARD OF LIVING OF THIS NATION REGARDLESS OF WHAT NATION THEY SERVE IN, SO ALSO AMBASSADORS OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD LIVE ACCORDING TO THE ECONOMY OF HEAVEN, THOUGH THEY ARE STILL ON EARTH. ALL OF OUR KING'S RESOURCES ARE AT OUR DISPOSAL TO CARRY OUT HIS WILL. THAT IS HOW JESUS COULD SPEAK OF THE CAREFREE LIFE. Matthew 6:26 - "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they." Mark 5:22-24 - "And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw Jesus, he fell at His feet, andbesought Him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. And Jesus went with Him." JAIRUS IS SO DOGGEDLY DETERMINED TO GET TO JESUS THAT HE FIGHTS HIS WAY THROUGH THE CROWD AND CLEARS OUT ENOUGH ROOM TO FALL AT JESUS' FEET. HE'S MADE A DECISION -- AND WHEN HE GETS TO JESUS, HE SAYS EXACTLY WHAT IT IS: LAY YOUR HANDS ON HER AND SHE SHALL LIVE. IN A CROWD OF LITERALLY THOUSANDS, THE FAITH DECISION OF ONE MAN IS DIRECTING THE ACTIONS OF JESUS. Observation: IF I AM SITTING AROUND WAITING FOR JESUS TO DECIDE TO HEAL ME .....FOR JESUS TO DECIDE TO HELP ME....... FOR JESUS TO DECIDE TO PROSPER ME AND GIVE ME VICTORY.... I AM IN FOR A LONG WAIT. BECAUSE THAT'S NOT JESUS' DECISION -- IT'S MINE. Hebrews 3:7 - "Wherefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, TODAY, if you shall hear His voice, harden not your hearts." The Holy spirit says, TODAY. What does this mean? God is the Eternal One. With Him there is no yesterday or tomorrow; what we call past and future are with Him an ever-present NOW. His life is an ever-blessed, never-ending TODAY. Even as the Holy Spirit says TODAY, satan's word is ever "TOMORROW, God's demand is too great for TODAY." The Holy Spirit says, TODAY! That means that He who is the mighty power of God is Himself ready to work in us the CALLING He has on our individual life and asks; it is He who is each moment pleading for immediate surrender, for a present trust, because He bears with him the power of a present salvation. AFFIRMATIONS: TODAY, this very moment, the wondrous love of God is for me -- it is even now waiting to be poured out into my heart. TODAY, all that Christ has done, and is now doing in heaven, and is able to do within me -- this very day --- it is within my reach. TODAY, the Holy Spirit, is within me -- sufficient for every need, equal to every emergency. (ATTITUDES OF THE SIN CONSCIOUSNESS) Which of the following "Attitudes Of The Sin Consciousness" are adversely affecting your spiritual growth and development: 1. When I stand before God sometimes I have a sense of inferiority, guilt, or condemnation. "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned." - John 5:24 "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." - Romans 8:1 2. The only destiny God has for me is the life I am living now. "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for Good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them." - Ephesians 2:10 "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." - Philippians 1:6 "Forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:13,14 3. God is operating outside of me. "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." - John 15:5 "For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." - Philippians 2:13 "To whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." -Colossians 1:27 4. Jesus lived on earth at a level above what I could ever hope to be. "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven." - Matthew 16:19 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. - John 14:12 5. My righteousness is to be obtained after I die and go to heaven. "For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ." - Romans 5:17 "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." - 2 Corinthians 5:21 6. Sometimes I do not feel like God has forgiven all my sins. "If we confess your sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9 "For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." - Colossians 1:13,14 7. Some days I feel like I am saved and some days I feel unsaved. "Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy." - Jude 24 "For we walk by faith and not by sight." - 2 Corinthians 5:7 "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." - Romans 10:13 "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household." - Acts 16:31 8. I can never be of real help to others because I keep sinning. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus." - Romans 3:23,24 "Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation." - 2 Corinthians 5:18 9. I will please God if I work on not sinning. "And may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith." - Philippians 3:9 "And you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? - Galatians 3:3 "But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace." - Romans 11:6 INTO ACTION: 1. Make a list of the sin consciousness attitudes that may be causing you a problem in your spiritual development. 2. Matthew 5:20 - "For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." Christ's virtue and power came from the Holy Spirit, not a religious spirit. For it was the fruit of the Holy Spirit that the Father crowned with power -- love healed broken bodies -- peace drove out tormenting spirits -- joy released captives from sin. Romans 14:17 - "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." AFFIRMATIONS: The Spirit of God is creating a desire for the NEW - I thank the Holy Spirit for helping me to press through into this new place. I see God in a new way as HE comes to lead me forward -- I feel a stirring in my emotions -- God is knocking on my door -- God is calling me to a new place. I refuse to stay in complacency of my former attitudes, waiting for the provision before me to start my journey to the new heights. Matthew 5:25,28,34 - And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years. For she said, if I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And He said unto her, "Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole: go in peace, and be whole of thy plague." SHE DIDN'T CONFESS HER SICKNESS, HER DOCTORS' FAILURES, HER SUFFERING AND HER LACK. SHE HAD STOPPED TALKING ABOUT ALL OF THAT. INSTEAD, SHE BEGAN TO SAY WHAT SHE HAD HEARD ABOUT JESUS. Galatians 6:7 - "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." Luke 8:23,24 - "But as they sailed He fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to Him, and awoke Him, saying, Master, Master, we perish. Then He arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm." JESUS WAS SLEEPING IN THE MIDDLE OF A LIFE-THREATENING STORM. IT WAS THE PEACE OF HEAVEN THAT ENABLED HIM TO SLEEP. AND IT WAS THAT SAME PEACE THAT SUBDUED THE STORM.
