There are like 9 levels in the hierarchy of Angels

Seraphim & Cherubim

have wings as in the representation on the Ark of the Covenant layered in gold

the rest of the rankings do not have wings that I have ever read about

Please give me these rankings as used in scripture?

The bible dose use these following terms, seraph or seraphim, cherub or cherubim, archangel, angel,

these are the one known to be in the bible and once again the rest is this is more new age stuff.

Genesis 3:24 shows proof of cherubs

Isaiah 6:2 shows proof of seraphim

Jude 1:9 shows proof of archangels

Who needs proof for angels (another order)

Don't get me wrong, i always get turned down for new age stuff but people take me wrong. Tell you the truth i don't care

about it to the point where i believes it's true but i do have my opinions. The way i veiw new age stuff is as another genre

of stuff i like to read. Some people like fantasy some like poetry some like drama, well I like new age. And if you take a trip

to barns and nobles new age is apparently a genre too lol.

Do you understand what New Age is and where it comes from?

Do you know what your avitar is and what it stands for?

The problem is that you appear to take new age stuff as equal to the weight of the word of God. You give credence to that stuff when it is not His word.

Naturally i would get defensive but your right, I do tend to do that. But i'm an 15 year old artist, im young and full of ignorance.

I try to be a sage, keeping my head up, because i'm not the average teen I look forward to getting old.Its my dream and passion

Because of that i take all information and cherish it, especially on topics I like. I just want to be a wise person, and I think the wise

thing to do is to never turn down any knowledge weather it's unconfirmed or not, especially when it comes to religion.

Just as our body is the result of what we feed it, our mind and spirit are also the result of what we feed it. Be careful what you eat spiritually.

Other one

No I dont and I dont care, i put that as a symbol of something dare to me

and if a picture of the devil makes me think of god then i would walk around with one

because symbol and all of that stuff dont apply to me. I make my own connections

but i would like to here your answer.

Something "dare" to you???? I'm not sure I understand.

I don't know where you got the picture, but the ones I've seen were close to the devil. They came from core members a Theosophy group that consider themselves illuminated. It seems you'd fit right in there.

Sevenseas & JTC

I agree we artist are different, in fact i use to go to a therapy and my therapist told me after I would show him my art

that he thought artist were here to do gods will he said they are his little helpers. That never left me and I bring it up because

I feel as an artist I look at everything from multiple veiws, and it is true I want to peel away very layer till I see the core. There

nothing wrong with that but probably its the way how im doing it after reading all you guys responses. And as a 15 year old

I feel I'm always write but recenly i totally turned it around to the point where I try to say in my mind I'm always wrong becauset

as said I want to be a sage and if you think your always right then you wont learn. And the person who would always say

"you think you know everything." to me was my older brother and it use to hurt me because of my dream to be a sage and thats

why i always say im wrong and take all these ideas of new age in.

I'm curious ... why do you want to be or why do you admire a 'sage'? Again, the Bible speaks quite a bit about wisdom..which

any half baked sage would definitely need.

What set you on this journey to be a sage? If you don't mind my asking......

I wanted to be like God, having vast knowledge.

:hmmm: :hmmm: :hmmm:

Gee, I do believe I read somewhere that some other being wanted that too. I also recall, that it did not turn out well for that being.

:halo:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
