What do I do now?

well if i were you, i'd begin by getting on my knees and weeping with a broken and contrite spirit... because a) if you really ARE the number 1 christian on earth, then you're going to be the LOWEST one in heaven.... and b) because you're bragging about being such a blessed and nearly sinless christian, you're boasting about yourself with a proud and haughty spirit, which means God is greatly ticked off at you.

or, perhaps, this thread is just in jest.

i certainly hope so.

Amen... ! :halo:

joe, i'm hoping to go with the theory that you made this thread in jest... you do have jk in your username (twice), and jk can be short for just kidding.

but if you're not, can you please tell me what has occurred in your life in the last 8 months? after all, it was only in february that you said you had doubts about God, and now suddenly you're the best christian?

What do I do now?

Well, I'm assuming that this is just a theoretical question, so I'll give you my theoretical answer.

If I found that I was the worlds number one Christian, I would start to be concerned. Until Jesus returns and takes the reigns of the kingdom of this world, old Lucifer is in charge of a lot of things..... and you automatically become his number one enemy on planet earth..... Now you say that you expect God to take care of you and protect you from the wiles of the devil, but I'd suggest you read the book of Job to see how that can come out.... Good in the end, but the trip there really sucks.

I think I'd rather be a lowly Christian just getting by with the daily help of the Holy Spirit.

God does not love you more than me or me more than you. His love and understanding is brought to ALL whom seek it, find it and cherish it. So do not try to humble yourself and be prideful or boast over this "revelation" because I can assure you, it was not from God.

Lets make one thing clear, if your such a "man of God" then your life and direction would not need any leading, especially by us saying, WHAT DO I DO NOW? You would be knowledgeable enough to know to seek the Lord for direction, but instead you insist on boasting in this "glory." You much remind me of Ephraim in Hosea 12:8 saying "I am very rich; I have become wealthy. With all my wealth they will not find in me any iniquity or sin." Then compare this to Revelation 13:7, "Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked."

I would continue to talk about being prideful and arrogant, but in the end I know it would be nothing for the simple fact this is just trolling. Trying to get a rise out of us by your "revelations"

I pray to the Lord that whoever reads these posts, and any further post written by a deceiving heart will be overturned by the Lord and thus be discerned for what they really are. In Jesus Name

Luke 15:7 "I say to you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance."

God has revealed to me that I am the number one Christian on earth.

What do I do now?

Well Great News!

Now you live and behave as that number one Christian. Which I doubt that you are; for I really believe Jesus Christ to be number ONE.

Are you sure your not number 2?

True words . . . especially the bolded part. And, yes, I'll opt for getting by from day to day with the Spirit's help also.

I'm not going to tell whether that was a theoretical quiz or not.

When it was revealed unto me that I was the #1 Christian (I liked to call it the only real Christian left on the planet), I holed up in my house with the bible and my imagination and began to rewrite Christianity as I planned out what the new and improved church would look like and all that....it ended with two trips to the psyche ward and a very unpleasant feeling of thinking I could never attempt to do anything on my own ever again.

Today I am glad to announce that I have found out that there are many other Christians out there who God is using through their several abilities that he has given them and that I am simply part of a larger body. I am instructed to simply use my talents given me to benefit others out of a humble heart knowing that I don't have anything that God didn't first give me anyway.

Have fun being #1 as it is a terrible place to be.

Gary

If you are the number 1 christian then why would you ask us for direction, seems you would already know the right path.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
