I agree with Kwik and John DB. The angels who fell in the beginning didn't know what their fate was going to be before falling, but now all angels know what their fate will be if they do decide to fall. So I seriously doubt they would take that route.

I believe that the Angels have free will and have had since they were created, the fact that many have fallen does not mean that the Lord would have taken their free will from those who remain faithful to Him.... The Lord never created puppets , He wants us all to choose to love and worship Him.

As to your question of "because of the angels" If you read it in context to what is said prior to that... it refers to woman covering their head.as a sign of authority on her head...which shows her submission to her husband. That is what I believe though I'm sure many will disagree with me..but thats ok.

Angels were created in the fullness of God's Glory in His direct presence... They are not given repentance and

if they choose to turn from this fullness there remains nothing but eternity of that choice!  Love, Steven

Dear Blessed,

Personally I used to ponder that "because of the angels"exactly the way you are implying and then one day I was reading(a long time ago)and I had a beautiful revelation that the angels referred to here are the already fallen(demons)...they are after all,angels-.that is what came into the eyes of my heart and I have never since questioned it.I do remember thinking "Oh okay, thank you Jesus, that is simple enough"'

I do hope it sounds as simple an explanation as it did me.....Oh ,and I seriously doubt that any one of Gods heavenly angels ever think about anything but serving and worshipping God,they have seen it ALL from the beginning-I can't imagine a holy, heavenly angel considering losing their position to share in satans fate...

                                                                                           God bless you,Kwik

Makes sense! thanks sister!

I have often wondered that myself.  Do they have free will can they fall and do angels have emotions like us or do they simply follow what God tells them or do they just know what to do. No I too believe that they want only to praise God all the time.  They have no desire to go over into the enemy camp.

First of all grace is for human sinners, and none of the fallen angels will receive grace.  Hence eternal Hell (the Lake of Fire) is prepared for the Devil and his angels.

Those who are presently in Heaven are called "the holy angels", and apparently there will be no more rebellion in God's Heaven.

As to why Christian women should cover their heads during worship, since the head covering is a symbol of authority, and the angels observe Christian gatherings, they need to see Christians under God's authority, just as they are under His authority. [The word *power* (Greek exousia) means authority.]  Thus Christian men with uncovered heads, and Christian women with covered heads indicate that the entire church is in submission to God and to Christ. The Head of Christ is God, the Head of the man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man (1 Cor 11:1-16).

On, I don't think so either Kwik , the angels were judged already in the beginning where 1/3 were cast out of heaven.

I think you are probably correct Kwik, however if it was a temptation pre flood, I see no reason that it isn't a temptation now.....   even though I can agree with you we should respect those angels that watch over us now.

I might add that a few verses later.......

1 Cor 11:11-16

11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
KJV

it seems to be saying that they do not have such a custom and this was just an issue in the Corinthian church....   which had a lot of problems going on there.

So I don't think we should make much of an issue about it.

Can angels who have not sinned sin in Heaven?

by Matt Slick

Angels who have not sinned from the beginning and are in Heaven will not sin because they were elected by God not to fall into sin (1 Timothy 5:21). Angels are ministering spirits who carry out the will of God (Psalm 103:20, Matt. 6:10), and they work against the fallen angels (demonic horde) who in turn work against God. Therefore, it seems that from the beginning, before the foundation of the world, the angelic realm made its decision, and one-third of the angels sided with Satan and rebelled against God (Revelation 12:4). Furthermore, we see no indication in Scripture that there will be a future rebellion of the angels who are now servants of God.

Finally, the presence of holiness, God's holiness, is a factor that cannot be overlooked. I am sure that these beings are--to some degree--experiencing the incredible holiness and purity of the Lord God and have also encountered the hideous evil of the fallen angels. It would make sense to say that given such awareness and experience and the fact they were elected not to fall, those angels who are presently with God will never rebel against Him.

I simply am not going to believe that God created at least 30 million angels that were destined to fall......   no matter how many times people preach it or write about it, I refuse to believe it.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
