Blessings DRS,

God bless you.....there are many Scriptures that assure us in heaven we will dwell in the presence of Father,Son & Holy Spirit as they are One.....Mathew5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.....Psalm17:5...Rev22:34....just for a couple of references.....

And remember what Jesus told Philip...you have seen me,you see the Father(they are One)

                                                                                               With love in Christ-Kwik

My Brother,it is quite hard to imagine, isn't it?We see dimly for now & know in part-lol

  :amen:

All of the scripture passages you referenced in your post came to my mind when I read the OP.  I can only add....

1 Corinthians 13:12 - For now we see through a glass darkly; but then face to face:  now I know in part; but then shall I know even as I am known.

2 Corinthians 3:18 - But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

1 John 3:2-3 - Beloved, now are we the sons of God and it doth not yet appear what we shall but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall See him as he is.  And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Matthew 5:8 - Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.

Yes one day we will see him and behold his glory face to face.

Revelation 22:3-4 -And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants will serve him:  And they shall see his face and his name shall be in their foreheads.

The throne of God (the Father) and the throne of the Lamb (Jesus) will be there as Jesus sits on the right hand of the Father on his throne.  Remembering the words Jesus spoke to Thomas and to Phillip in....

John 14:5-11a - Thomas said unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:  no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also:  and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.  Phillip saith unto him Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.  Jesus said unto him,  Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Phillip?  he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?  the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself:  but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.  Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me.....

John 10:30 - I and my Father are one.

God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. I am not sure that we will be able to see Him; such pure light must be blinding and while we will have spiritual perception, I don't know if we will see the way that we do with mortal eyes. We are told also that no man can see God and live. In our resurrected bodies it still sounds like our Father will be pretty overwhelming. Rev.1:13-17 discribes Jesus. Ezekiel 1:26-28 might be Jesus or might be the Father. It doesn't really say.

And the Cherubs in Ezekiel 1: 4-25 and 10:7-22 aren't the cute little Roman babies with wings that we see painted by the masters. They are wings, eyes and wheels and they had 4 faces of which only one was like a man. They are more like a dragon fly than a winged baby. It would be fun to try to paint one of those and replace the cuties Raphael painted. No wonder people were afraid and fainted. Most of the lesser angels are discribed as men, and not effeminate men like the winged ladies we see at Christmas. They are warriors and messengers sent to serve us. So much of what we imagine is worthless folk lore. The Bible is much more excitiing.

From Acts 7:54-56:

When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.  But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God.  And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

If Stephen saw Jesus standing on the right hand of the Father, I have every expectation that we will.

my question was will Jesus still be there when it comes time for us to be with him.  I'm having trouble deciding one way or the other.

Revelation 4:3-6 gives us a description of heaven and the throne that is occupied by God and by the Lamb.

Since God dwells in "unapproachable light" and is one "whom no one has seen or can see" it may be that we will never be able to look upon His face, but that is speculation.

(John 14:28 Remember what I told you: I am going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really loved me, you would be happy that I am going to the Father, who is greater than I am.)

I'm thinking 'greater than I am' means greater in everything, knowledge, glory, love etc etc..I believe the Father will know how to reveal himself in heaven in our glorified bodies, as to not scare or frighten us. He will know how to reveal himself in a gentle manner because the lamb of God is gentle, and the Lamb came from the Father. One of the fruits of the Father's spirit is gentleness. This news brings me great joy. (Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.)

we are told to approach the throne boldly, so maybe you are correct.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
