Am I the only person in America sick to death of superhero movies? They're loud, bloated, poorly written (almost zero dialogue), violent, and manipulative. And, not only that, some of them (the awful Man of Steel, for example) mess with the mythology of the characters! A 2 yr old girl fell into a septic tank. Two men jumped in after her. When they got her to the surface she wasnt breathing but was revived and is recovering in a hospital. My favorite, are the newest batman movies (batman begins, the dark knight, and the dark knight rises) I find those particularly good, because I think they show mankinds ability to choose right from wrong, even under difficult circumstances. They do have a strong plotline, and I really appreciate the clear line between good and evil (unlike so many other movies out of hollywood these days) I also enjoy Thor and iron man but not as much as the batman trilogy. I didn't mind the latest 2 superman movies, but they werent exceptional. I enjoyed the first 3 spiderman movies, for much the same reason as the batman movies-good plot, clear lines between good and evil, and shows peoples ability to choose right from wrong.
