Who believes the Rapture will happen this year?

I believe it will. I am not ready. I'm so ashamed but I still want him to come so I can get out of the world, and my brothers and sisters with me, to a better place.

Do I know when? No. Do I look for Jesus to return today or very soon?? Yes!!!

If one knew when the day of the Rapture was to happen;  What would you do just before it was to happen???

 

Sell all your possessions, and give all to the Lord's work.

Sit it out and wait.

Preach the Good News faster.

Make a wish list or contact your unbelieving friends to take care of your animals.

Pray harder for the unsaved.

Get all your things in order.

A list could go on and on.

 

The thing is, We are to be ready Now, not 1 year from now or 7 years from now.

But that is the point of Jesus coming; we are not meant to be ready =) In fact, in a way, us being ready for his coming is us being sinful and ashamed of ourselves, as this is what he will come to fix.

I don't know when, but I think it will be in my lifetime!  Jesus Himself said spoke about seeing the fig tree and when you see it blooming, you know summer is coming.  So it will be when Israel becomes a nation, that generation will not pass away before the end comes.  That generation is now in their 60's.  Everything is really happening at a quick pace.  Just think this past fall how everything with Syria just built up rapidly and we could've gone to war. 

 

Depends how you define when Israel became a nation. Israel became a nation again in the early to mid-Twentieth century but that was not officially recognised until 1948. However, some claim that Israel did not become a nation until they got Jerusalem back and that was in 1967.

I wonder if it will happen in our life time? It seems like humanity could not get any worse and so some people believe it will be soon. But maybe God foresees us being in greater need in the future and so is waiting for precisely the right time.

But who (on earth) knows?

The rapture is a false teaching the saints will be taken up after the tribulation not before

God has given us 120 years. Israel became a state according to the United nations in 1948. 1948 plus 120 is 2068.

Mark 13:20

20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

I think it will be before 2068 maybe tomorrow.

and this thinking could be way off the mark.
