Blessings Truth!

Of course He does, plus He is already there-lol   Only we are bound by space & time,God isn't! God can do anything He wants to do,if He wanted to change His mind He could......Hezekiah was sick & dying (Isaiah 38)and the Lord told him to set his house in order because he was about to die,Hezekiah prayed & wept to God & God changed His mind, spared Hezekiahs life & gave him 15 more years(paraphrasing).........so God can & does whatever He wants to do,the only thing He cannot do is lie......Oh,what a Mighty God we serve....Praise & Glory & Honor to the Lord!!!!!

For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Malachi 3:6

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Numbers 23:18

Point

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Romans 11:26-28

Psalm 131

1 O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty ; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me.

2 Surely I have composed and quieted my soul ; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me.

3 O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever .

Malachi 3:6

James 1:17

Numbers 23:19

NO

Therefore, God cannot have new ideas and be creative. He must follow the thoughts that are already predetermined for Him.

He cannot choose for Himself because there is only one perfect path as oppose to God having several ways of doing things which would all be perfect in themselves because whatever he creates, does, engenders, brings to being will be perfect as He is perfect.

Malachi 3:6 James 1:17 is not about God's knowledge but about His identity and character. It cannot be about His essence because that has changed.

Numbers 23:19 God is comparing Himself to man who is whimsical in nature. God's decision and purposes are not so shallow. This does not mean that He can't change His mind at His own will. Key word will. Why say God has a will if He cannot change it. It not a will it becomes a "set course" for Him.

also when the people coming out Egypt made the golden calf God was going to destroy them all until Moses talked him out of it.

Thank you other one

This is one instance of God changing His mind. Along with...

Blessings Truth!

Of course He does, plus He is already there-lol   Only we are bound by space & time,God isn't! Why would you think you would "rattle any cages" by your question?I don't see anything wrong with it?

this another instance. Consider Gen. 6:6 "And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart."

Blessings Truth!

Of course He does, plus He is already there-lol

God is not already there.

Consider that statement prior to creation. God was alone as a trinitarian spirit being. At that time the 2nd person of the Trinity was not also being born, being crucified and being resurrected at the same time. This is the problem of saying God lives NOW. God has a past, a present and a future although in His timeframe it means nothing in terms of growing old or anything we experience in our timeframe.

There was a time past when God was alone, no matter, no angels, no humans. When He brought these things into being it was a different time after, than it was before, and we know that the future holds a time for us and for God when there will be more different things again.

.Prior to creation God was a Trinitarian Spirit. He is not that today! Jesus God is a spirit with an everlasting glorified body. This was not in God's past.

Why would you think you would "rattle any cages" by your question?I don't see anything wrong with it?

Give it time!

Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord...

Because David wasn't confident in reasoning things doesn't mean we can't. Do you think God is threatened by our questions?

So if God can't change His mind, and is stuck in a hamster wheel, knowing everything before it comes to pass (which would sugest past and future), does that mean that I was always in the mind of God, although without bodily form, and therefore gives me the quality or attribute of being eternal like God? Always in His mind, forever in His presence, sounds like eternal to me. Humm! Heaven forbid!
