Blessings Danielle.....

When you come out you are diffrent coz you come out with Him and the world recognizes it though they cannot put their finger on it.

I am wondering if English is your first language?   Oh dear, please do not take that the wrong way & I certainly do not mean to offend you, forgive me if I am being too forward, okay? I am just having difficulty understanding what you are saying & Fez has given you such a detailed explanation of how we receive God & enter into His Presence but yet I do not think you accepted His answer ,,,,or perhaps you may have a pre-conceived notion of coming into 'Gods Presence" as a place & that is so far from Gods Truth

The Holy of Holies was ,as Fez described,an real & physical area in the Temple of God,behind the veil,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Jesus gave us that "NEW & LIVING WAY*".......He is the manifested flesh that He consecrated for us to pass through,to enter.......when we  forsake our flesh and it is crucified with Christ flesh through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit we are walking in Spirit & in Truth ,we have the Heart & Mind of Christ ,HE abides in us,we are part of,a member of His Body,,,,,He is,we are ,in our Father, our Father is in us

21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26 I have made you[e] known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”         John  17:21-26

We do not have "go" or "come' into anywhere,we need only be sensitive to the indwelling therein........

JOHN 14:16-18 NKJ
16 "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever,
17 "even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

So just to let you know. As a saved, born again Christian, you live in the Holy of Holy's every second of every day!                                  posted by Fez

When our son was around 8 he jumped off a ladder while he was playing. We had left the boys with a sitter and no one mentioned an incident, but the next day he could not walk on one foot. After taking him to a family doctor, and orthopedic specialist, a podiatrist, we still had no answers. Several weeks later we learned about the ladder. 6 months later he still cried himself to sleep at night from foot pain. I interceded for him for months, we prayed and asked God to heal him.

Finally God answered me. I was asking Jesus to touch our son as He had touched people when here on earth. Jesus answered me in my heart, telling me to ask Father God. I felt suddenly like I was before the throne of God with His focus on me. He seemed to be asking my request. I thought of so many things. My own foot had been in a lot of pain since I had crushed it in an auto accident some years before. I thought of it but again thought of our son's foot hurting like that. So I asked our Father to touch and heal our son's foot. God answered me "That is how much I also want to touch your foot, my child." Our son still remembers that God healed his foot a few weeks later when a missionary we knew had laid hands on him and prayed for him. My own foot no longer hurts except after standing for any time.

But that is one time that I can remember being before the Father in prayer, in what seemed like having a personal audience on an experiential level.

There are many times that God's Presence is felt--probably that of the Holy Spirit with and within. Jesus is alive in His Word as His Spirit speaks to us and enlightens the scriptures to us. But I never seek experiences nor do I recommend that others do so. I seek God's face, His kingdom and His righteousness. He inhabits the praises of His people as well when we worship in Spirit and in truth. So "Enter His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His Name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations. Psm 100 4-5 NKJV

In the bible there is mention of a Outer court , the holy place and the Holy of Holies .  Now I’m not talking just about the temple .

Has anyone ever entered the Holy of Hollies and God made His presence know to you .  Please let me know .

http://www.bible.ca/ef/expository-hebrews-8-5.htm according to this link, the answer is yes, there has always been a pattern to find God.

there are many different methods, so to speak, of contemplating God's Word. Personally, I find the most effective to be just doing it. Willamina has just provided you with an excellent and perhaps the only way which works most of the time. That is, press yourself against God and continue doing so. Some day, He will make Himself known to you. It may take ten minutes, might take ten days. But count on Him as your Father.

If it takes long, one might get bored, but most certainly it's worth doing it.  More than anything else.

The hole in the soul. The quest to know God. These are things God built into our individual systems. But God did not place eternity in our hearts and turn us loose to find things out for ourselves. For even before the Bible was canonized or even written he placed clues in the stars and in nature. The heavens declare the glory of God... But once he started to require a more distinct focus on the quest for God... he gave us his Word the Bible. This is where you will find his answers and guidelines. To reject it and search for other methods or means to "find God" or to align one's self with the Almighty consciousness is to major in the misguided. Be careful.

All things come from the same spirit origin (including the physical). In the beginning this was good. But creation was corrupted. The mazzaroth (the original hebrew astrology) depicted the plan of God perfectly but was corrupted to the point the Bible specifically forbids studying it and practicing it.

If you know all these things, then try fasting (in a remote place without worldly and especially modern distractions). Longest I was ever able to go was 5 days. And I could feel the Spirit of God like never before nor since.

Hi Danielle, nice to hear from you.

From my own experiences and those of people I know, i don't think  there is a pattern to us finding God.

In fact the more I hear and see I think it is more a case that God finds us.

I don't think the natural man has a heart inclined to God, natural man is a fallen being living in a fallen world.  But praise God he does not leave us alone and without

the opportunity to turn to him.  I suppose the big question is, what happens when we know God is speaking, do we turn  and listen or do we turn away.

Here are a few examples I know of.

A relative of mine attend a funeral a number of years ago.  During the service the 23rd Psalm was read over the grave.  I should mention that this person had never even thought of God or church before, apart from weddings, funerals etc.  During the reading of the Psalm they felt as if God was speaking it direct to them, so strong was this feeling that while everyone else was stood by the grave side with heads bowed, this person was looking around the cemetery fulling expecting to see God.  From that moment on, this person  knew God was real and that very next Sunday they attended church for the very first time and were saved.

Another person I know (who is now a church minister), one day while travelling along a road, he passed a large statue which had its arms held out. Suddenly they recalled the verse in the bible about the sheep and the goats Matt 25 v 31 - 34 where the sheep were on the right and the goats on the left.  It suddenly became very important to him to try to work out whether he had passed this statue on the left or the right and they realised they did not want to be on the left.  Through that simple act of passing this statue, this person

went on to be saved and has been in ministry ever since.

I know of another person a number of years ago who was hitch hiking (i don't personally think this is a safe thing to do and I would not encourage it).  But anyway several cars stopped to give this person a  lift and everyone single one was a christian who shared the massage of salvation with this person. By the time they got in the last car, the hitch hiker turned to the driver and said "i suppose you are a christian as well!" of course the driver was and had the privilege of leading this person to Christ.

Then there is the example of Saul / Paul in the bible of course wow was that dramatic.  Maybe we should thank God that he does to strike us blind to get our attention. :mgcheerful:

I am pretty certain that for people, maybe without even realising it, there will have been moments where God has revealed himself to them or where the seed has been

planted for revelation to come at a later date.

But we then have a choice to make.

I do understand your analogy of the temple etc as there are different levels on which to get to know God on,  personally I tend to think of it as going deeper and deeper, especially due to certain things God has shown me over the years.

God Bless

The only "pattern" I have found is He moves within me, in the spirit, and I stop and wonder what that was.  He answers by showing me what I need to know.  I can then accept it or reject it.  This "pattern" continues to this day.

At first, it was hard to determine what was happening, but the more I looked to Him, the easier it became to communicate.  What used to have me wondering is now one means of communication, which I look for all the time.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
