This is not a question and I don't presume to demand others to participate, though I do hope that many people participate in this as my intent is to concentrate on each and every individual as a person here. I am not concerned with what we do as a Christian, but what we do as a member of the families we were born into, the jobs that we make a living as and the persons we are. The reasons that I am not too concerned with what we do as a Christian, is that we might force ourselves to do something that we really don't want to do, just because of our faith and that, to me doesn't come from ourselves, but from a need to try and impress God.'

I have an aunt that used to say, "Well Jesus says I have to love them, so I will" I never understood that, because to me, God knows what is in our hearts and would certainly discard anything done for that reason, because it was not love, but duty that created it. It just seemed too false to me. I know that i've had my time with love and forgiveness. The worst person I have problems with forgiving is myself. I've done things to help people and help myself and have paid dearly for my efforts.

I wanted to start this for me as much as for everyone else, because I think we need a place to laugh and to cry and honor eachother as we honor God and maybe, just maybe, we will learn a little about each other that will endear us to each other in joy.

The only thing I've done in the past hundred days that I consider positive is try to raise up and keep in prayer a friend that was in the hospital for three weeks and try to support my ex husband who is very frail at the moment.  Seeing it spelled out in text, I realize it's not enough.  Nor is the one Bible verse I read per day.

I am interested in reading what some of the rest of you have been doing and maybe I will get some inspiration.

well I don't normally discuss it here, but I have had a couple of people contact me that are having problems with family being involved with the occult and apparent demonic activity.   One an old work acquaintance, another that came by here as a guest and contacted me by personal email.    Lots of people come by worthy just to read that never post or join.

Also we give to the Church and I've bought meals for people who were out of money and hungry.....

Hi, could you elaborate, I am confused as to your thought and intent.

If I understand at all I think I  am of diametrically opposed thought and conclusion.

I do hate my natural instinct, for it is always against God. It is the natural fleshly man within that I have been freed from by the Holy Spirit, in that I am aware of God. I am aware that He will not abide sin.

I am aware Jesus has paid the full redemptive price of all my sin past, present, and future. None the less as Paul put it do I then  sin all the more  to increase the glory  that is Jesus and his sacrifice? No! I have awareness of my spirit and I have the Holy Spirit too, whom makes me  to know my sinful ways that I must avoid, plus not only avoid but fill with  that which is  good and that which does glorify Jesus. To please God?  Should I say no I do not want to please God?

Not me, I do want to please God. I pray because it pleases Him. I serve because it  is His command, and my obedience may please Him. I am all about pleasing my creator.

I do suffer because of my failures so very often. I suffer in spirit, yet I rejoice in that which is my salvation, my Lord Jesus.

I very much doubt that I impress God, but He sure impresses me! He makes me to lie down in green pastures. I am safe in the tall grasses of the valley in the shadow of  the mountain where death lurks. just as the Psalmist David. There I feed each day upon the perfect provisions God provides me. His rod and His staff comfort me as I am led away from my natural folly of my sin against Him, and am pulled to follow my master, the Good Shepherd, our Lord Jesus.

The Lord Is My Shepherd

A Psalm of David.

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
    He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
    for his name's sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
    I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
    your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
    in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.

If I am to say  what it is that I may do  pleasingly to God,  I have to limit it  to saying  it doesn't work that way for me.

For the most part I do not know what I do. Figuratively I do not let the left hand know of the work of the right. The Holy Spirit does not let me know ahead of time how I may be led to be used in His work. I almost always learn afterward, and am amazed at the awesome power that is God in our lives.

If I  share I fear that is the reward of others that have been part of what may have been done. I prefer that their reward come from God, and not be robbed  of that reward by me for having shared of it.

In the last 100 days I have done quite a bit, although most of it would be considered mundane I suppose.  Currently I work two jobs, so the majority of my time is spent in one of those two businesses.  One is a sales job, so I do get to interact with a great number of people which has been particularly encouraging to me personally.  It allows me to meet so many brothers and sisters in Christ, and to share in some wonderful conversations with other Christians as well as so many non-believers.  In a strange way it has helped me to open up with people and somewhat reconnect with the man I was before my divorce turned me anti-social.

On weekend evenings I go to a senior center and sing for the residents there, which has become a great blessing for me.  I'm not sure listening to me sing is such a blessing for them, but they are always happy to see me at least.   In a way you could say that they have become an extension of my family.

My biological family is a bit fractured sadly, and has been since my dad passed away nearly 16 years ago now.  I do live with my mother and have since my dad's passing as she requires help with so many day to day tasks that he took care of.  So, her and I are close, but the only other family that I have any regular contact with are my daughter and grandson.  Naturally, I adore them both.  My daughter will be getting married this July, so quite a bit of my time in the last 100 days has been spent preparing and earning money to pay for the wedding.

I also recently was able to purchase a new laptop which has allowed me to return to worthy and the wonderful group of people that I have met over the last 9 years.  I am very happy to be back with you all and look forward to spending time with all of you again, and also getting to know those who I did not have the pleasure of meeting before.

God bless

Blessings Churchmouse

I'm really filled with Joy when I see members of the Body just reaching out to know members of the Body more, our Body, the Body of our Precious Lord & Savior.....I see that you only Hope to be even closer in Unity as every FAMILY should desire to be......Praise Jesus

I cannot say the things I've done or do,though I would only be boasting for Christ,I feel praise may be misdirected......I'm just His Vessel,All the Glory belongs to Him Alone

I will share this much with you,I am gratified. The more Ministry Moments our Lord sets before me ,the harder they get...the harder they are ,the more gratification I have & the more I realize I must keep saying"Yes Lord,I am Willing" or He May just pass me by and present someone else with the Assignment     I'm tired,I'm really really tired but when I am really tired & really weak is when He Gives me the most Strength and I am truly AMAZED,each & every time

I know I've really said nothing & not shared in the way you had hoped but I just want to encourage everyone to keep saying"Here Am I" and go for it.....recently I said to God Almighty,"Am I equipped to handle this LOrd?"........I heard His reply......"I didn't choose you because you are able,I choose you because you are willing....I AM ABLE"

LOL,I  have translated that to this     "You'll do"                                           Praise Jesus                            With love-in Christ,Kwik

In the past 100 days,

Ive been going over my Bible. And helping some friends that aren't doing well right now. Also the Father has been teaching me to have more patience and to pray and rely on him more than man.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
