Lucifer, now Satan sinned long before he entered the garden of Eden that Adam and Eve had dominion over. Lucifer once reigned over the earth and he decided he and one third of God's angels he convinced to follow him, would invade Heaven and try to de-throne God. Naturally he was defeated and he was cast out of heaven, back to the earth and God destroyed the Earth and all in it with a great flood and turned off the light's because of Lucifer, and

"I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light." (Jer. 4:23).

Some time later, many years later, 100,000, a million, several millions of years later, who knows, God restored this little planet Earth to a habitable state and created Man in His image and after His likeness and gave Adam and Eve dominion over the earth.

God then allowed Adam and Eve to be tested to see if they would remain faithful and continue to reign on the earth and be allowed to have access to the tree of life. Lucifer, now Satan, the enemy of both God and man through the serpent who Eve knew because she was not afraid of it, convinced Eve she would not die, in fact she would become like God. She took of the forbidden fruit, gave some to Adam and they did eat. That's how Satan regained dominion over the Earth, Until Jesus concurred Satan on the cross.

Don't forget that we will judge the angels some day, so I think God really set things up knowing that they would eat of the fruit and gain the knowledge of good and evil from Lucifer's on doings.  Everything has been set in motion from the begining.

    Well,that depends on who & what field     Just because everyone agrees & has the same "expert" opinion does not mean that it is correct......Firstly,credentials of  the "who" is  important and unless I was familiar with their work I suppose that may not hold much water with me personally,lol   For example,many brilliant,highly accredited "experts" (evolutionists) share the opinion that the "Flood" did not occur...years later they find substaintial evidence that changes their mind(like monkey teeth(fossils) in various places......"we" walk by Faith & need no scientific explanation(or most of us do not) as it turns out,seems to me, science just has to "catch up" & eventually will find out that everything Written in Gods Word is the Truth   

   I grew up with the same teachings as mostly everyone here has had,we were taught the earth is a globe,rotating on its axis,revolving around the sun etc...etc...that is the consensus of most experts,many will argue this is not supported by Gods Word and they have come to disbelieve .....it is things like this that I have zero interest in & therefore I cannot have much of an opinion.....I'm satisfied both intellectually & spiritually no matter what the consensus,lol   I do hope that answered your question,it's interesting to me to get to know each other                      Praise Jesus!         With love-in Christ,Kwik

I believe you are absolutely correct on the "who and what field" observation, but I confess I would probably disagree with you on what some of those fields might be. I share with you the idea that agreement between brothers and sisters in Christ is much more important than disagreements about scientific conclusions.

Indeed, Praise Jesus, we can share ideas together in Christ!

    Well,it is truly a pleasure to disagree &/or agree with you.lol!Did you get to see the eclipse? Here in South Florida we were supposed to get a great view but it rained on & off all day and it was very over cast...saw NOTHING!!! For a moment it got very dim & that was it with the cloudy skies.

Oh no, a terrible day for overcast skies! I had a lunch break where I got to get a good view (with my certified eclipse glasses, of course). It was quite amazing to see! I still remember 1979 as an elementary student, but I have a bit more appreciation for the event yesterday :-)

I can't answer many question but I like playing with thoughts so there is one I would like to share: I can imagine evolution among dinosaurs. It looks like the scientist might have some rights to say about the life how it began in that world but then something happened and God has created something new. But in this case, it means between creation of the earth and creation of the humans was like 1.000.000 years difference. But these are just thoughts so please take it easy and stop saying I should repent.

May be not direct. In the canon, doctrin has the explantion for genesis, "there were giants in the land" not scripture, Jobs Leviathan, and a couple other possible mentiond but they are mentioned in apocrypha.

Science that is straight science i have no issue with. But government gives out lots of money for theories they use for social engeneering and to refute the bible to, advance athiesm and socialism. So i really think some science agendas and advancements are being led by Satan. So dont just follow discern.

There is a huge diverance between hiring some one to investigate a truth and hiring someone to find evidence to support propiganda. Our government paid so much science grant money for evidence of global warming and no money for evidence the sun goes through heat up and cool down cycles. Lots of money is given to prove the earth is millions of years old and little to no money is given to actually prove creation and 6000 years of migration and extinctions.

I Trust good scientists that distingush between fact and theory and believe men with integrity not scientists as a whole. some just say what the people giving them money want to hear.

a scientific fact is when you can subject the excact same element to the exact same enviroment and you get the exact same result every time. our dating science results are still all over the place. we are counting a dating result as fact from a dating technique that is proven inacurate and only theory. look for the reports on how inacurate they can be. They got a 2 million year old age results from a 80 year old man made rock shelf.

when a donkey and a horse cross species the offspring (mule) is sterile. But, a sterile mule can carry a zebra to horse embrio, the mules blood leaves some donkey horse genetic markers in the Zorse (zebra horse) when she carries the mixed embrio in her womb full term. Put the scientists on that with their evolution calculation theory formula and they would say millions of years of evolution because they rule out possibility of all enviroment manipulation from an outside source. They can not calculate for how much God infuenced what they are caculating as their sum of time to process a natural change or start of a new species..
