Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ,

Pops, what was Jesus discussing in chapters 16 and 18 where He uses the word church? What was Jesus talking about when He commissioned the disciples, to make disciples and teach them all that He had taught them. He said that He would be with them in their disciple making until the "end of the world." That is the same "end of the world" that Jesus was asked a sign for in Matt 24.

If you indeed know Christ, each one of these inconsistencies that you have been shown will no-doubt be brought to your attention when you stand before Him to give account at the judgement seat, unless you repent and correct your error.

There is still time to help those within your sphere of influence.

Hallelujah

The Lord says nothing about the church in Matthew 16 or 18

Matthew

24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

It is written that as a lightning can be seen from the edge to the edge, so will the coming of Christ.

"For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day" Luke 17:24

Matthew 24 is all about Israel during the coming 70th week decreed

Other things are discussed about the time frame, but Matthew 24 is specifically related to Israel

Where folks get things confused is not being well read in the prophecies of the OT.  Yeshua is referencing stuff that had already been outlined by the prophets. He was just putting it into a Readers Digest condensed form.  The same for Revelation, which is 404 verses with references to over 800 OT passages.  Much of what Yeshua says can be found in the prophets and in every instance in those OT references, it refers to the Hebrew people.  As you stated.

Matthew 25 (sheep and goat judgement) is a discourse by Yeshua that builds upon Joel 3.  When taken together, these passages are clearly marking out that those of the nations are being judged on how they treated the Hebrew people.... Yeshua's brethren.  The righteous are not even in sight.  Of course, that is because they were removed prior to all this stuff.

But also, the prophets, Psalms 27:5, and other verses make reference to those that are righteous being hidden from those events which are the time of Jacob's trouble (Jeremiah 30:5-7).  The Psalms mentions about being hidden in the Lord's pavilion and secure in His tabernacle.  And do a careful reading of Isaiah 26:17-21.  There are dozens of OT verses that support the idea of the righteous being hidden, protected, secure, etc from the final tribulation period that is coming upon the earth.

Do a serious study of "labor pains" and "birth pains" in the OT scripture.  It should illuminate the issue.  The OT is rich with details of the latter days events.  I find myself actually studying the OT references to the final tribulation as much or more than I previously studied the NT references.  But one thing for certain, they compliment each other and really brighten one's understanding of the events.

And it follows the Torah requirement that a matter cannot be judged without the testimony of two witnesses.  We have those witnesses... the Tanakh (OT) and the NT.  The Bereans were commended by Paul for searching the scripture daily to see if what he taught them was true.  And all they had was the Tanakh.  So, in almost every instance, what is mentioned in the NT is expounding on something that already was mentioned in the OT.

This short article from the website 'Rapture Ready' outlines just how close our redemption is, if you're a pre-tribulation believer. It nicely dovetails my own view and opinion of the 'season' of the catching up of believers. Rather than copy and paste, the link is below for those interested.

I can say with absolute certainty that the Rapture is closer on September 14 , 2018  than is was on September 13  , 2018 .

In case you missed it, the church on the day of Pentecost was a Jewish church. That church died out.  God turned to the Gentiles.

More than just Israel.

Mat 24:7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

Mat 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Mat 24:21 "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

True, more than Just Israel, but the majority of His words were directed at Jewish men about the end of THEIR age.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
